After moving to the area, I was trying to find a comparable bike shop to service and do maintenance on my bike. When I brought my bike in, I was prepared to pay at least $ 100 for a clean up as it has been years since I did any maintenance. When I got in, I was given a full explanation and told I could actually do the basic package which was only $ 65 based on my bike. I’m not often told to pay less, which I appreciated. I was told it would take a week and they still got it done early. When there was a mixup about instructions with my bike, they made it up with excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure my bike was handled with care. I never hope to have to go back for anything, but I know exactly where to go. Highly recommend! Excellent, caring and knowledgeable staff!

I’ve been going to Allis since 2007. Went to that«other bike store» in Hales Corners but never really got good service there. If you’re looking to walk in to a bike shop that gives you warm fuzzies every time you enter, then you may need to shop outside of Milwaukee. Whenever I got to Allis, Steve, Pete and team will answer questions and not feed me a line of «malarkey» — if they don’t know they go to find out or let me know they will. They’ve taken care of all the bikes we’ve purchased from them over eight years. No reason for me not to go back again when we’re ready for another upgrade!

My experiences with this shop continue to be great. We’ve taken advantage of the free tune-up, had adjustments, installations(pedals, saddles, bar extensions) and so on with timely, competent, and affordable service. It seems like I’ll be coming back here for a long while!

After shopping around MIlwaukee for a bike, I finally found the one at Allis Bike & Fitness. The staff was super attentive and helpful — the first employee I met when I came in suggested a bike that was on sale but out of stock, and he called me as soon as the bike was available, setting it up for me to come back and try out. That same employee wasn’t around when I returned to the store for a test ride, but his colleague knew right away who I was and which bike I was there to see. I purchased the bike for a very fair sale price, verified by some online comparisons. The staff was also able to help me properly fit a helmet. I like that a year of free adjustments + one free tune-up is included. I’m a biking noob, and the folks at Allis Bike & Fitness were knowledgeable but not condescending, which was not my experience at other shops in the area. They listened to my concerns and my priorities and ultimately I was matched with a great bike. Five stars!

Chain fell off my bike & the brake was damaged during my move. I am not technical so brought my bike here as it is very close to where I now live. They were able to snap my bike back into place in a few minutes & put me on my merry way! Thanks Much!!!

My parents got my first GT from here when I was around 12 years old. Haven’t purchased a nice bicycle since then. I did some extensive research when purchasing my new bike this year and Allis’ pricing was very competitive. I wanted to buy local versus online so I went back to the store that brought back great memories. Personal Service & Great Deal!

Through out the years I have periodically stopped in here for whatever need arises. Since I just had a missed opportunity at Wheel and Sprocket I remembered the guys over at Allis Bike. So why not give them a try again? Allis Bike is on National Ave right next to a Citgo on the busy intersection and next to an abandoned ol Shakey’s Restaurant which provides ample parking for Allis Bike. Basically I decided to scoop up a mountain bike from someone I know. The first problem I have is that the seat is terrible. I knew this going in but i figured I could do some preliminary research and go from there. The prices of seats fluctuate you’ll notice so then the next question is do I get a whole new seat or a gel cover? This is where Allis Bike comes in. They were fairly busy but I was helped in ample time. The gentleman discussed the differences in seats and which ones are better for different situations. He made me feel comfortable making a decision. I actually ended up getting a new saddle by cloud 9. The price was great. As I was looking at a similar or even the same model online the price here was great. Tax brought it to just over $ 30. Fair price. Installation is a bit goofy and since I am not super experienced I ended up bringing the metal thing that the bars of the seat sit on. These bars are too wide by just a little and they told me that if I can’t get it I can just bring it in and they’ll do it for me no charge. I was glad. I did go back later and got my wife the women’s model of the seat and I installed that without issue. So i guess I’ll be taking them up on their assistance and am glad they offered. I’ll go back. They are knowledgeable and helpful and there is a pretty good selection of bikes at reasonable prices. I saw some sale items in the 200 – 300 range. I haven’t browsed the whole selection though. If your in the area give them a try!

I’d stopped in Allis Bike & Fitness this evening to purchase my childhood dream BMX bike(GT Performer). I’ve owned two of them in my lifetime. When I went into the store the guy who was working asked if he could help me and when I asked the difference between the GT Performer and the GT Compe he said«Is this BMX for you?» When I told him that it was he immediately told me that no bike in the store would be «big enough» for me. He continued on saying that I would have to custom-build a bike and I was looking at about a thousand dollars to start. I understand his concern, as I am six-feet-five-inches tall. However I have two other BMX bikes that I have been riding for two years(both smaller than the GT Performer) and I haven’t had any problems. However it was clear as day that this guy wasn’t going to sell me this bike because he didn’t think it would be a good fit for me. I don’t know about you but five-hundred dollars walked out the door of that once lovely store tonight, never to return. I’m sure they were willing to put together that thousand dollar bike for me, but they sure ain’t going to sell me anything«out of the box» as they said. Poor business, even poorer help!

One of the few bike shops near where I live. Can’t give it much of a review at this time, since all I’ve purchased from them is a helmet at this time. The staff was nice, and they had a good selection of new mountain and hybrid bikes. I didn’t get a chance to check out their used bikes, but those seemed in good condition. The store was clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back to have my bike tuned up there.
