Stopped in last week and they had a GREAT selection of Microbrews on tap. I’m partial to Porters and Stouts not many places carry them and they had four or five to choose from. We were there to watch the Broncos and Patriots game and the bartender was more than happy to turn the music down and the sound of the game up for us. After a while, we decided to soak up some of the beer and settled on a BLT and a French Dip. The portions were HUGE, the bacon was delicious and the French Dip was unique! You know how at some places you get served and they never come back, OR they keep bugging you every few minutes? The bartender and kitchen staff played off one another really well and took really good care of us. We left with full bellies a nice buzz and MY(temporary) team won. We will most certainly be back!

$ 26.00 for large pizza and they charged a 3.5% credit card fee? I spent $ 103 for two large pizzas one small pizza a sandwich and a couple of draft beers and they had the audacity to add a $ 4 credit card fee? The pizza is pedestrian and definitely not worth $ 26.00!

It’s sad to see how far this place has fallen in the past few years. We used to live in the area and came here a lot. Great atmosphere and good food, reasonable prices. We moved away for a few years and now we’re back so have come here several times over the past few months, mainly because it’s close, not because it’s great anymore. 1. THREE times I’ve come here and ordered a Corona, which they ring up and then tell me, «Sorry we’re out of Corona.» OK, I can understand this happening once, but if it’s a regular occurrence because it’s such a popular brew, ORDERMORECORONA for crying out loud. I then gave them three other options(Stella, Heineken, Dos Equis) and they didn’t have any of them. It’s a BAR and you don’t have any of those four beers? Sheesh. 2. They used to be famous for their amazing skinny fries. On the same visit as the first«no Corona» visit, they brought our food with curly fries. I said, «What happened to the great skinny fries?» and they said, «Our fryer broke several months ago, so now we serve these baked fries.» I would understand if the fryer broke recently and you’re making do while waiting for the new one, but«several months»?? Again, IT’S A BAR — YOUNEED A FRYER! The next time we came, we saw that the menu was touting«baked potato wedges.» OK, that’s better than those yukky baked curly fries. Imagine our surprise when the plates came with the dreaded curly fries. I pointed out the info on the menu and they said, «Yeah, we haven’t gotten around to reprinting the menu yet.» 3. I have to say their quesadillas are the best I’ve had. However, they don’t always have the correct ingredients. Once I ordered the one with taco meat and they said, «We’re out of taco meat.» Really? You’re serving hamburgers and you can’t make taco meat? 4. I was just there a couple days ago and was shocked how expensive my friend’s order was. She had a Long Island Iced Tea and a quesadilla and it came to $ 20! Now, I’ve read the comments here and see that there was probably a 3% debit card charge that we were not informed about at the time. What a rip off. I expect this place won’t be in business much longer.

This place was awful. Ordered a beer and nachos. The beer was very stale so that sucked and the nachos were very dry. A few hours after being here, I had a stomach ache and was feeling sick. No doubt it had to do with the food from there. Also was charged 3.5% for paying with a debit card which was absolutely ridiculous. The place also looked like trash. We were recommended to go here from the owner of 99 bottles because he said they had a ton of craft beers, not the case. They had mainstream stale beer.

Wow. This place is terrible. 3.5% charge to use a debit card? We came here because I was told they had an excellent craft beer selection. That’s not the case. Seriously crowd pleasing bs. I’m sure Buffalo Wild Wings has a better selection and they don’t charge 3.5% to use a card

So I asked why I wasn’t made aware of the 3.5% for using a card before hand,(not to mention that there is no signage anywhere to notify you of this) and was just told oops. F this place I hope they go bankrupt and get everything repossessed!

The original grinder is excellent, and it better be for $ 12.00. Pint of IPA was $ 6.00! Not sure I would call this place dumpy as did another reviewer. It’s upscale divey/sporty wannabe. I ended up the only one in the bar eating a late lunch. I was ignored by the barmaid until it was tip time, that didn’t happen. Ordered at the bar, the cook brought my food. $ 20.37 for a sandwich and one beer lunch? Wow. Not a fan of paying 3.5% on top for using my debit card either. And no ATM available. At least they didn’t charge for the Wi-Fi! Judging by the booster seats and games I guess kids are allowed up front, another minus. The food was good and there’s nothing else in Fife, but I’m probably being generous at 3 stars. Look for cheap beer specials; Tuesday was $ 2.25PBR Tall Boys.

A decent dumpy generic little tavern if you want bar food. The beer selection is modest but the beer they do have on tap are great. The bartender made it clear that you had to order at the bar, so combined with a quick order placement and beating the lunch rush, the food arrived in a timely manner. The grinder was good but a little on the small side. Nothing bad but nothing great at the Milton Tavern.

The Long Dog was pretty good but service with very few folks there was almost non-existent…

Service– unfriendly if your not a 5 times/wk customer. Food– overpriced bar food Variety — good, lots of selections Price– unless you drink bud light, be ready to pay a hefty tab, I took some friends there for a quick bite, got 3 pitchers and spent almost $ 200. Paying your tab– this is the interesting part, if you don’t pay cash, they carry an iPad and you have put in your tip and sign it right there in front of your waiter/waitress. Awkward huh? Not if you had a good experience but what if you have a bad one? Yeah, awkward when you don’t tip well right in front of them. I live up the hill from them and won’t go back

This place continues to go downhill… Pizza is okay but they chronically burn it… Now they are charging a 3.5% surcharge using a credit card on a $ 45 bill without notifying us… We asked to pay in cash and the INCOMPETENT server did not know how to reverse the charge… LAME!

I came here a few weeks ago with some friends in the evening, and ordered the bacon burger; it was huge and delicious, I definitely will come back. The bartender was very friendly and funny. Also, I saw some other guest’s food that looked amazing too.

My mom always likes this pizza place so we ordered it to go today, really shocked! Filled with toppings on the pricey side I believe we paid $ 30 but I could tell that quality was used. Will definitely be coming back!

This place has always been pricey, but $ 33 for a half nachos a chicken sandwich and two fountain drinks? I was charged a $ 1 more for the nachos and sandwich that was listed on the menu. Then they auto added a 3.5% service charge for a credit card including the tip! Really? Oh, and for that price($ 12.99) you don’t get fries with the chicken sandwich(add $ 1.75 if you want fries or soup) I would be ok with the prices if they used quality ingredients but they don’t. For example they used canned diced pineapples instead of fresh on the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, crappy bulk bagged potato chips, ground taco meat instead of steak chunks on the nachos and included guacamole(which they didn’t) but I would have let it all go if they hadn’t put on that lame service charge.

Wow this place has gone down hill. They had the best pizza, beer selection back in the early 2000’s now? It’s an over priced gimmick. I ordered a 13 $ burger and 10 $ pitcher for me and my buddy ordered a grinder. The bill was almost 50 $. I almost didn’t leave a tip as I had to fetch my own food but I just couldn’t do it. One thing I will do is not go back. It’s a shame I used to come here almost daily.

Have to agree with Craig F, been here plenty of times, they had real good French Bread Pizza, good prices on Beer but it has slipped big time, they need the team from Bar Rescue that is seen on Spike TV to come and turn things around, otherwise I dont see this place lasting much longer. Which is to bad, they were one of the original smoke free taverns, in the state of Washington, they dont have any pool tables

We used to go here all the time because they had such an excellent beer selection. They still do, but they place is just kind of a disappointment now. We never go here for breakfast, but the lunch and dinner food is average to below average. They make a big thing out of the«long dog» pizza, but it’s not that special. I think square inch-wise, it’s about the same as a large round pizza elsewhere, and it’s way more expensive. And there’s never very much meat on it. I don’t mind paying a lot for something that is quality, but this isn’t it. One thing that I really like in a neighborhood bar is the ability to have a conversation over drinks with the person I’m with. This place has really loud music most of the time(I think it depends on who the bartender is) and you can’t hear the other person talk. Also, there are three televisions on in this tiny place as well, for even more distraction. Maybe that makes sense on game day, but all three TVs are on, sometimes on different channels, every time I go to this place. I think that I’m giving up on the Milton Tavern forever. Maybe I’m getting old, but The Milton Tavern experience has turned into an overpriced annoyance.
