Good Fellas

I tried this place twice with the same results. Waited forever for our order to be taken. Food came out before apps did. Fries never came out and then when I asked for the fries to be removed off the bill, they asked like it was a hassle. The pizza wasn’t that good either. Oh and I never got my refill…
You’re better off passing this restaurant by.

Stopped to try the new business, enjoyed the atmosphere on the water and a glass of wine with our pizza.
Noticed Happy Hour is from 2 – 6 Monday through Friday. Weekend entertainment. Owner is very friendly and a local resident.
Sports fans come out on Sundays!

Horrible! This place used to be great but I hear under NEW ownership.
Pizza was worse then store bought frozen and their idea of a calzone was to fold a pizza in half and undercook with no ricotta cheese, just sauce and mozzarella!!! No wonder place was empty at 12 noon on a weekday.

New Milton residents, from where we live actually its easier to get to Lewes. But we figured hey, support local merchants.
We have two kids, not finicky patrons, I can even eat roadkill if it’s cooked well.
We walked in an this place immediately took a nose dive in customer service in what I perceived was less than a warm welcome. In I would have been VERY wrong for doing so. But here was our experience. .
In movies where you walk into a bar and everyone looks at you, as if you don’t belong, that’s how I felt with two kids in tow, almost as if we came in at an inopportune time to provide Good Fellas with business.
We weren’t expecting to be served hand and foot, we could’ve eaten on paper plates. But Good Fellas needs to realize that an unfamiliar face leaves a very slim chance to make a lasting impression, and welcoming is not the vibe we received from the waitress. Instead the vibe was «you didn’t come in at the right time for us».
She wasn’t rude, far from that, instead I felt there was no interest in us as customers. I almost felt the need to walk out, though that would have been a mistake.
Perhaps she was having a bad day, we didn’t have any sociable conversation about the service or the menu, I asked about burgers and a few things but I had no feedback. I was looking for some motivation in offering us service, but none existed.
Food however can win the heaviest hearts, another family came in after us, and we noticed the waitress had a little more social rapport with them, when the family saw our food order, they were Impressed, then they had a boy who asked the waitress if she was all alone and she answered yes. So maybe she was having a bad day!
Then as she served our food we had more interaction, she was attentive to our needs as customers, courteous even.
Pizza was very good, burger was great and hearty. Going there again for the food, but this is a great chance for Good Fellas to take note on winning over new patrons, it was there food that saved the day.

Based on having gone here a few more times various days over time. I would like to change my review.
Food takes forever. Ordered take out 25 mins before arrival and still had to wait another 10 – 15 mins.
Has happened a couple times even takes that long if you walk in.
The food is good, I would not say excellent. The only problem is that the last time we ate there we spent the next day running to the bathroom. Not one of us, all of us. That was the only meal we had in common that day.
I will look elsewhere from now on.

Food took forever. The restaurant was empty and we still had to wait a half hour for two sandwiches. Meatballs were not very good. Prices were good.

Being Italian myself its difficult for me to go to an Italian Restaurant and order, plus the fact being from Northern NJ and looking for a good pizza in LSD is tough. However, since Goodfellas opened I have found both. The pizza is just like NJ pizza, the portions are huge, the price is right, and the service is warm and friendly. Although they have only been open for a short time every time I am in there I get the feeling that I have visited for years…

Good Fellas did me good during the week I was working on a house I recently purchased in Milton. Good solid workman-​like Italian fare in large portions and reasonable prices. I ate five meals there during the week and all left me happy and satisfied and ready to get back to work. The four meals: 1) Eggplant Parm on Spaghetti, 2) Small Eggplant Parm Hot Sub, 3) Tuna Salad, 4) House Salad with Large Garlic Bread, and 5) Spaghetti with Red Sauce. My companions were just as happy with their meals as I was with mine. They had 1) Spaghetti with Meatballs, and 2) Cheesesteak Sandwich. Of course all meals were accompanied by one or two beers, and all meals were eaten while sitting on the deck overlooking lovely Wagamons Pond, though due to the chair height in relation to the deck railing height I had to sit fully upright to actually see the pond. The staff were also engaging and friendly and were kind enough to allow my dogs to lounge about the deck while I ate. I recommend Good Fellas if you are looking for a friendly, affordable, and tasty option while in Milton looking for some chow.

The three stars is not intended to discourage as the food was good, the portions ample, and the service was very accommodating. Also I am eager for this place to be successful as the location, overlooking Wagamons Pond is really pretty special.
My husband and I shared a house salad, the eggplant parm. on pasta (which hit the spot after a day of physical labor), and the eggs and peppers sub. — all tasty standard Italian fare. And, the wine portions were big which was an added bonus! We’re vegetarians but a friend told us the cheese steaks were supposed to be the best in Milton. I can’t attest to that but it might be worth exploring.
Good Fellas does however need to do some fine tuning to their presentation. Suggestions: don’t have heavy metal blaring out of your speakers (on the deck with a picturesque view no less) at a deafening level if you want to attract a dinner crowd, especially families. I would also recommend they put their menu up outside so that people know exactly what’s available — I always find this touch useful especially when you’re just curious to know what a restaurant offers and don’t want to have to go inside to find out. We saw a family walk by to consider the restaurant and then turn around due to the slightly off-​putting music.

My family and I ate at this restaurant in an attempt to support local business and hopefully keep something open at this location. We were disappointed all the way around. The food is overpriced and not very tasty. The pasta is not made in house and isn’t fresh. The salads are watered down. We had to remind the water that all of our meals came with bread sticks. He looked surprised, then ran to put them in the toaster, returning with what looked like sub rolls toasted, buttered, and sprinkled with dry garlic. My husband had to run to the bathroom before he even finished his meal. For the price of the food, one might expect a nicer atmosphere, but no, there are cheaply framed movie posters on the walls, shrink wrapped candles in the wall sconces, paper place-​mats on the tables, and posters advertising their Karaōke night covering the windows, blocking the ONE thing that the restaurant has going for it — a view of the lake. As much as we’d like to be supportive, we will NOT be returning, or sending our customers here on recommendation. Keep driving!

My family and I ate at the restaurant and had a horrible experience. We waited over an hour to get our food, and then we didn’t even get our food at the same time. The kitchen was so slow and the wait staff was not adequately trained. Even though apologies for the service were given nothing improved over the course of the meal due to continual mistakes that were made. I would not recommend eating at this restaurant.
