So, we are residents of the town and have had several opportunities to eat at Abby Park. It is always consistently good. The chef(Tony) routinely outdoes himself when AP has wine(or even once, Scotch) dinners. He very cleverly pairs the food with the wines to bring out the best in both. Last night(Father’s Day) really blew us away. The meal: Husband had the lamb… succulent, juicy, with the perfect level of crisp on the edges. The soft pillowiness of the Artichoke potato cake served as a lovely backdrop, while the tomato black olive salad acted as a bright counterpoint. I had the pork chop, a large lovely hoisin glazed bit of heaven served with the backdrop of a mashed potato made brilliant with a touch of hoison, and the lovely sweetness of maple black beans. The refreshing red slaw was the perfect accompaniment As good as the meal was, and it was VERYVERY good, it was made even better by the people that were involved. Jeffrey, the host/manager/sommelier always makes us feel welcome. Jeffrey goes the extra step and makes us feel special! His wine recommendation was spot on, and the dessert he suggested to go with(yes WITH) the wine was outstanding. Joe our waiter(headband and ponytail) was charming and attentive. We can’t wait to go back!

I am a big fan of Abby Park. I have always enjoyed everything I have eaten there. From the delicious crab cake to the Wagyu beef Hamburger to the Short Ribs. Service is always wonderful and attentive. Two minor thing I would change would be to tone down the spice on the lettuce cups, and PLEASE bring back the Maple Pork Chop!!!

I had dinner at the bar on Sunday night, and the meal was very good, but my experience was mediocre. I ordered a drink, a starter, and an entrée all at the same time. The starter came out within 5 minutes and I was done with it 10 minutes later. 15 minutes after the starter my entrée did not come out and I asked the bartender, he went to the kitchen and said it would be a few more minutes and he had to move it up in the queue. I imagine it was just not cooked b/c it took another 15 – 20 minutes before it was in front of me. 40 minutes for an entrée to come out is a bit much on a Sunday night. Also the manager must have sensed some discontent b/c he introduced himself and went from regular handshake to motorcycle club handshake, which I could have done w/o. I’ll go back again and hopefully the timing of it all works out a little better.

Saturday afternoon for a drink and food… Nice place. The menu is thoughtful and well put together. I had a margarita on the rocks and my wife had a bourbon, good selection of bourbons. For an app we shared the lettuce cups that have soy glazed chicken, soba-type noodles, shiitakes, cashews and wontons… it was hands down delicious. For entrees my wife had grilled cheese with bacon, it was OK, not special. My meal was excellent, a salmon burger with miso aioli, crispy wontons on brioche… Great sandwich with tasty fries. Abbey Park has a classy atmosphere, great menu, and very friendly staff. We will go back to to try out the dinner menu which looks solid.

I am really disappointed to say the food was not ideal tonight at all. The salad I have gotten in the past«asparagus salad» was so bland. We order an app of stuffed mushrooms which while good were not described the way they appeared. Even the waitress apologized for the way they came out and said the chef must have done something different. While totally fine and actually pretty good… it was just strange! The drinks were strong! Which I love but my friend ordered a sangria and while drinking it got some weird sugary textured stuff in her mouth, except it wasn’t sugar. I think it may have been fruit or something from the sangria that maybe crystallized but it was weird! and she had to spit it out! I guess I was just disappointed. I usually love this place but tonight I wasn’t really loving it anymore. Wondering if they have a new chef?

Great ambiance and atmosphere for a date night. The server seems a little hasty when it came to getting the entrees out. While we were clearly working on our appetizers and she brought out the entrees and sat there for awhile before the manager came over and placed plates over the food to keep it warm. Thank goodness for the mindful manager! He was awesome and was attentive throughout the night.

Well never knew it was so hard to go to the neighborhood restaurant. Pulled up to the parking lot and was told to drive over to another restaurant to valet park my car. So I did. However there was no one at the other restaurant’s parking lot. So I swung around out front and found the valets. There I was told I would have take the ticket in to a restaurant I was not going to and pay 3 dollars and I would have to return to that restaurant after I ate at Abbey Park to collect my car. I politely handed the valet back the ticket and was heading home, when I found a spot right in front of Abbey Park. Dinner was okay. Lettuce cups we fabulous, steak au pua was loaded with pepper, my wife’s chicken dish was ok, and the crème burlee, was real good. Mary Alice was the best part of my experience. She was awesome. In fact if you decide to put yourself through the ordeal of going to Abbey Park, ask for her. She will make your trip worth it.

Hm, definitely mixed feelings about this place. You walk in, nice hostesses, décor is overall nice, but a few things were really off. I went with my bf on Valentine’s where there was a special valentines day menu. In the most generic font possible, a large«LOVE» was written across the menu, definitely not adding any romance. In addition, they had these very unattractive red hearts hanging in the windows, which just took away from the generally classy atmosphere. They definitely need a young interior designer to go through there and tie some loose but distracting ends. The tables are pretty close together, but it wasn’t an issue because there weren’t people sitting at the tables next to us. Overall, a mature but young crowd was there. It seemed like the waitress didn’t really like us because we were under 21 and not ordering alcohol, which seems unnecessary. For app, we ordered the lobster dip, which was AMAZING, highly recommend. warm pita and a dish full of really nice warm lobster dip. For dinner, I ordered the steak and he ordered the lobster carbbonara. If you have to order the steak, ask for very little peppercorn, I asked for mild peppercorn on mine and it was still overwhelming. I ordered it medium rare, which it definitely was not, and overall flavor was just not great consdiering my expectations were high from the lobster dip. He recommends the lobster carbonara, it’s made with cream insteasd of just egg yolk and cheese. Overall, go here, but just not on valentines day and don’t order the steak.

Stopped by for lunch before hockey with my 15-year-old Michael one afternoon. Enjoyed it muchly: so much so I decided to take all the family for dinner over the holidays. Service and meals were terrific. Everyone had a great time, especially me. It’s been 10 years since we were all able to be together for dinner. This modern family era can be quite problematic. Parking was a little challenging but we managed.

Came to Abby Park for a work lunch. It was delicious! The calamari was extremely unique and my entrée, the Goji Vegan, was definitely the best I’ve had in a while. The waitress was really sweet. Will definitely recommend and return!

Went there for a diner meeting on a week night. The décor was lovely. The ambience was poor due to the fact that it was VERY loud. I remember going there often as a youth when it was the Granite Five and Dime store. We ate in a small banquet room downstairs which seat about 30. The service was excellent. First courses were Mozzarella and tomato and calamari. The tomato and cheese came with a pretty presentation but was mostly flavorless. Any flavor came from the sauce. Nothing special about the semi –ripe tomatoes. The calamari, which is usually not a favorite of mine, was a bit more flavorful. Maybe only because the oil in the fryer needed to be changed, It was tender though, which is hard to find, and it included some delicate shrimp which were nice. The drizzled sauce was flavorful. I thought the salty olive tapenade was a good addition but the color of the entire dish was very pale and had the appearance of being undercooked. I think it should have been at least golden since it was fried. The salad came in cucumber cups and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. I enjoyed the dressing very much. It was light without being oily. The entrees we tried were the flat iron pepper encrusted steal and the cod. The steak was inedible. It had a very thick coating of cracked pepper about ¼ inch thick. Too much. It was so spicy that you couldn’t taste the steak which was tough and dry as well. The coated cod had a nice lobster sauce which was more like a lobster stuffing. Large chunks of meat. The fish itself was a generous size but was extremely dry. The coating made it seen even more parched. The sauce didn’t help with that. Dessert was the lava cake which was also dry. Not moist at all. Kind of reminded me of a Devil Dog. I didn’t find any lava in mine either. There was a nice sauce drizzled over it but it was in no way decadent. I would not dine here again even though it is one of the only up-scale eateries in the area. It is very pricey for the quality of food. They do have great sauces, though they don’t save the meal.

Overall a pretty good experience. I went with a bunch of co-workers for a special dinner. We had about 25 people in attendance(so a big party). The wait staff did a nice job of keeping the drinks flowing, the water full and the food coming out in a timely manner. The kitchen staff made one less meal than we had people so one co-worker watched while others ate until their’s was ready(a shame). I had the chowder as an appetizer and short ribs for dinner. Yum! The desert was a chocolate lava cake which was good but way too big(I could only eat about 3 bites). The waitstaff was a well coordinated group. I would recommend for anyone looking to get a small group of friends or family together!

I had dinner with my team from work and we had a private dinning room. Overall the food was good, the appetizers we had had great. The kitchen didn’t make enough of the cod so I had to wait longer for my meal, but at least it was hot when I finally received it. I found two bones in my fish. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive especially since I didn’t receive my meal with everyone else.

We went Sat night 9÷12÷2015. We started off with the crab cake which had more breading than crab this app had such good intentions !! It had a nice slice of avocado on top with a nice alioli and was placed on rice. Good Idea but the cake needs crab !! Second app was the shrimp and calamari with a olive tapanad with capers and fried hot peppers, again had potential but the shrimp where very small and had a weird flavor, the olive mixture was to thick and the chef put in what seemed like potatoe strings, way to busy. Now the entrees where excellent, Short ribs where very tender surrounded by a guiness reduction and garlic mashed. And the seared scallops with lobster risotto was also very good! We will give it another shot based on the entrees, the apps we will have to take another look at.

Insanely good. Best place in Milton. The staff are pros from Tanya at the bar to Camila waiting tables. This place is on par with the best in Boston or NYC for that matter. Steaks are always generous and grilled to perfection. Martinis are superb and the wine list has a commendable selection. I have been about 20 times and each time it gets better with their eclectic menu and precise service. Love it soooooo much.

We went for dinner on a Thursday night around 730 and were able to be seated without a reservation which was great, our waitress was really friendly and came right over to take our drink orders. The menu is pretty varied with lots of different choices for whatever you are in the mood for. Our food came out quick and was really good, the truffle fries are a must try. It did feel like we were being rushed out of there even though it wasn’t an especially crowded night. The food and drinks are both pricey but quality and service is good.

Brunch at Abby Park is just fine with me. The décor inside is lovely. Certainly a great place to take your mother for Mother’s Day or any other celebration. Six of us came in around 11am on a beautiful Sunday and the restaurant was about half-full, but truthfully it’s a gigantic restaurant so it felt fine. For me what brings this restaurant from a 4-star restaurant to a 3-star restaurant is the food quality. I had the short rib sweet potato hash. It sounds amazing right? It was mostly regular potatoes and the sweet potatoes had almost no sweetness. The dish just needed more seasoning. My gf had a gigantic breakfast quesadilla, which was tasty, but again nothing special. If you come here you’ll probably like it, as I did, but I wouldn’t expect anything extraordinary. Also, every table had a baby at it(including ours), so if you want to fit in bring your baby or find one to bring.

Came here for Dine Out Boston. First course: tomato and mozzarella. Calamari and shrimp. The calamari and shrimp was extremely delicious. Beware it has some hot peppers in it. The tomato and mozzarella came with a crostini and drizzled with olive oils and balsamic vinegar. YUM! Main: I ordered the skinny salmon. Jonathan ordered the chicken saltimbocca. The skinny salmon itself was okay. Lakes some seasoning. The brown rice it was accompanied with was entirely too bland. Tasted like cardboard. #notafan The chicken saltimbocca was delicious. It was juicy, flavorful and just scrumptious! My personal recommendation: don’t get the salmon. Dessert: Warm chocolate cake. This was delicious. Warning, if chocolate isn’t your thing this is entirely a chocolate overload. If it is, dive in! Jonathan got French with a chocolate sauce. It was a lot lighter choice. Presentation wasn’t great but the taste was there. Overall, it’s a great location, cool venue and the service was great. Only downside was my main entrée but I would definitely come back here again and give something else another shot.

First impressions were good(despite the poor parking options in the area) both the outside and the inside are aesthetically pleasing. The vibe was inviting to the after work crowd and more casual diners such as ourselves(i.e., I would feel as comfortable here in work clothes as I would in jeans.) The menu looked impressive(albeit pricey but if the quality is there, I don’t shy away from spending a bit more.) We selected a trio of apps and entrees. Only 1 of the apps I would eat again; I felt that the breading overwhelmed the fried artichokes and the lettuce cups were poorly executed(ditch the noodles, they are a needless filler.) Two of the entrees were also underwhelming. The chicken was over cooked though the vegetables were tasty. I just cannot get past over cooked chocked at restaurants, sigh. I don’t even know why I order it anymore. Another sigh. The short ribs were better though I’ve made superior short ribs at home for a fraction of the price. Overall, the food was good. There was nothing that I hated or even didn’t like per say. But the quality did not match the price tag or warrant the need for a return any time soon. I think the menu has a lot to offer but there need to be some improvements in execution for sure. Keep working at it Abby Park!
