on last sunday(june 05,2016) we six were for dinner and experience— under cooked chicken for both items. luckily the owner of hotel also in the hotel for dinner with his guests, behind us. the lady whom we talked was very rude, said it was a good thing we told her about quality of food. she did not offer any word sorry or appology nor tried to say if she can replace dishes or adjust compensation in bill. the ever worst we experienced. no salt no pepper. i would like to give ‘0’ stars but no option for that. don’t go this place. it’s hazard and harmful place to eat and mannerless. besides cold dishes served for vege. — dosa, vada, idli in combo. forgot order of addl. roties ordered and served after dinner was over. we had guest from india who own a restaurant(3 times bigger the this) now will carry this experience to india,

The food is good, there’s a lot of variety in the lunch buffet. I got my son’s birthday party here. Although the party service was not at par. they charge more for party than regular buffet, but the service was not that good. If you want to arrange party at this place especially dinner, some dishes run out. I had some about less than 25 guests in party, they charged me for min 30 guests, but still the food wasn’t sufficient. Lot of our guests went back even before deserts arrived. The Naan’s were served after people filled in rice in there places and finished one round. Gobi manchurian one of our menu items was so less in quantity, that it didn’t even see plates of some of our guests, including the host(us). I would not suggest this place to host your party except if you want to get embarrassed from your guests. Good for lunch buffet, not for party.

Not so good buffet They said the buffet timing is finished at 2:45, even when 15 min is left to finish buffet. Nothing sounds good here. Expected a lot

Clean up the place please! I am appalled at the filth in the place. Spoons, carpet, restroom are disgusting. I have seen barns that are cleaner than this place. Highly not recommended

My awesome coworkers took me here for a belated birthday lunch. We went to the buffet on a Friday. The restaurant is small, and buffet line is cramped, but the food is excellent. Fresh, hot, and frequently replaced. They sat us in the«side» room, which was nice and quiet compared to the main area. Chicken makhani was excellent, as were all the dishes: I got a goat curry, a few chicken curries, potatoes, biryani, and saag. The chai is all you can drink, which was a nice touch. Water was a big pitcher that actually was COLD – I know it’s customary for water to be room temp but I really do not find that refreshing after eating spicy food, so the cold water was a nice touch. Dessert was refreshing – a few puddings and a lot of good, fresh fruit, including some very tasty watermelon. Glad I found a new place to add to the lunch roster.

I’ve been coming here for many many years, and it never disappoints. The selection is great for the price. Butter chicken, check. Tender and tasty goat curry, check. Daal(lentils), chana masala(garbanzo beans), gobi masala(cauliflower), check. I’m one happy customer.

South Indian is the best I ever had. I grew up eating their food and it will always be one of my favorites. Not so much into their North Indian, but their South Indian — idli, vada, dosa, sambar, chutney are the best!

The review is for their store as we not eaten in the restaurant. The store has a good selection of sweets. The standout items are the Telugu style pickles: goat pickle is very authentic and brought back memories of the pickles my grandmother makes in India. We will try the other pickles too: chicken, shrimp and amla.

I just stopped in here today to grab a bite after shopping at the grocery store before heading back to the office. I ordered the chicken karai to go which came with rice and naan. + chicken karai — the chicken could have been trimmed better but, some people are okay with skin. The curry itself was delicious + naan — very generous portion of fresh buttered naan — rice was nothing special — I could tell the rice was not particularly fresh Next time I will try buffet.

$ 10 ayce lunch with tip and tax? What a deal! I tried a bit of everything and it was good, but after trying everything, I found myself asking what else do I want to eat more of and I couldn’t really decide so I just ate watermelon and ended my meal. It wasn’t bad, but there was nothing I wanted more of. Probably would not come back again unless they get new items.

Another bad experience: — biriyani is like white rice — getting final bill before making other orders — have to ask missing items again and again — rude behavior — few other common issues — overall. I wouldn’t recommend

Don’t go here on a hot summer day. It was hotter indoors than outdoors. There are no ceiling fans and if there was AC it was definitely not turned on. The sauces: The white one is coconutty. The red one is my fave, slightly spicy. The green one was kind of minty. We got the Madras Special ontray: Came with a masala dosa, idly, sambar, and vadra. At only $ 6.95 definitely a great price. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Tikka Kebab(boneless on a skewer). The waiter got my order wrong and brought me 2 pieces of regular tandoori(with bone) chicken. Not a huge deal, but I pointed it out and he told me that it was what I ordered. Wtf? I wasn’t going to send it back, maybe I shouldn’t have even said anything, but don’t blame me when you get my order wrong, considering my family was there to hear what I ordered in the first place. Other than that the waiters were attentive, refilled water often; the food was pretty good and well priced.

Was thinking to write review on this from last one month. Please note this review is for dinner not for lunch buffet. So on a Friday night three of my friend with family planned for dinner at this place. Most of the time items were need to be re/ordered as they didt took orders properly. Food was bad including veg cutlet, dosa, paneer curry and many more items. Also seems some of owners had meeting in the main dining room who were doing their own stuff drinking n doing their work. Please avoid this place, it’s not worth

I love the pickles at Swagath. Their ginger pickle and gongura pickle are brilliant. I once gifted a friend Gongura and her reaction was «I think I hit the ethereal plane of Brahmic Samadhi after eating that Gongura. I don’t think I have ever had an achaar this sublime that can produce an intoxicating buzz while simultaneously evoking the nostalgia of walking through warm pepper fields of rural India. Every luscious strand, so benign looking — but when it begins to melt on the tongue, shoots off the neurons into nirvanic states which cannot be described in the Sattipatthana Sutra, but only felt by the filaments of your deepest emotion»
