I came to this Subway to grab a quick bite to work. I ended up waiting much longer than I expected. There was only one lady serving people with a large group of undecisive people switching between their choices. When waiting for their last sandwich in the toaster, she started my sandwich(meatball) and then left it half there to complete the other group’s order. My sandwich became a bit cold. She was patient and polite. However, complained about not being able to cut my sandwich in half and it turned messy. The long wait time was not her fault. I think the owners should assign more people there since only one person is not enough.

This Subway is the worst !! The ladies behind the counter are Very rude! I have been here 2 times in the past 5 years. I first encountered rudeness 5 years ago so naturally I was thinking, the staff might have changed and/or the employees were taught how to treat their customers. Today I was proven wrong! They haven’t changed. They actually became worse. I am never giving this Subway another chance.

This review is long overdue. I have been visiting this location for the past year and a half. This is the cleanest subway store I have ever encountered. I have been to the subway on Calaveras, at McCarthy Ranch, near the Great Mall, a few in Mountain View. I eat subway 3 times a week. I choose this location regularly due to the cleanliness of the store. I have noticed at other locations the filth. next time you visit your favorite Subway sandwich shop look at the board they are making your sandwich on particularly at some of the other locations I mentioned above it is disgusting. then visit this store and look at the cleanliness of it. the windows are clean the door handles are clean the soda area is clean the fan is clean and most importantly the cutting board that your sandwich is being made on is very clean.

I have been here twice. Vegetables are fresh. I really loved the veggies. Most of the subways I visited, they don’t make good sandwich. They make it nasty. But the lady made a real good sandwich and I enjoyed my meal. They are friendly. The best part is the restaurant is very clean. Bu it’s very small. I will definitely go to this location for sandwich.

Ive been to this place twice at first it wasn’t too bad yes you can sense the shitty attitude from the employees here but the second time was just OMGAH… There was one lady working there and another elderly women before me there was a customer ordering he was with a friend. The guy didn’t buy a sandwich he asked to use the bathroom the lady just ignored him when he asked again the elderly women told him where the bathroom was. After he left the lady went on a bitch rampage she scolded the elderly lady for letting him use the bathroom she even called him a pendejo… SERIOUSLY!!! My turn came to order when I asked for a fork she literally told me and my bf to go buy some at big lots. Oh yes it gets better she keeps pestering why cant we go buy it at big lots then the elderly lady handed me a fork that retarded bitch starts to give her attitude over handing me a fork. I couldn’t believe what was happening that poor old women I really hope you find a better job this place sucks ass. I don’t know why this place hasnt gone bankrupt please boycott this place its retarded!

This subway experience was somewhat less than FRESH. There were a number of issues with this subway experience so I’ll start with the blatantly obvious, the lack of gloves was a bit disconcerting to say the least and even more so was the fact that they neglected to wash their hands. After asking for a flatizza, I was asked twice if I wanted a sandwich. Once the flatizza request was clarified, I asked for the veggie flatizza on the menu. Than she asked what I wanted on it, I asked can I just have what typically comes on a veggie please. She angrily tossed miscellaneous veggies onto a sad little flat bread. All while yelling at my mother after she politely asked for a dash of onions on her flatizza. she then started speaking Spanish with her co-worker and giggling, it was literally like being in a nail salon when they are all laughing at your nails. Lets just say things got awkward by the time we got to the register. As someone who works in customer service I am certainly appalled at their interaction with my mother and I. I say interaction because nothing about that experience was service. When we got home our flatizza’s were so over cooked that it was like eating a month old baguette. So we ended up throwing it away. Absolute #WORSTSUBWAY of all time! Please save your self an indelible meal and protect your sanity. The two ladies staffing the store this past Sunday evening refused to accept my Groupon because I had purchased it only moments before, despite the Groupon app clearly indicating that it was already available and displaying the Groupon number, bar code, and«Mark this groupon as used» button. The lady who demanded to see it claimed that«no one buys Groupons like this», and that I needed to wait at least an hour before it became available for use. At that point, she began ignoring me and called for the next customer. I placed myself at the rear of the queue to allow others to be served first. When it was again my turn, I calmly explained that if they so wished, they could either scan the bar code or otherwise look up the Groupon that I had purchased, but she snapped, «We don’t do that». She insisted that the app should show a large green circle, after which I mentioned that she may be accustomed to the iPhone version of the app, which I postulated could have a slightly different appearance(I have a Windows Phone). Alas, she remained adamant in her refusal. I concluded that the lady could not be reasoned with, and promptly took my leave to look for dinner elsewhere, in utter disbelief at the rudeness and incompetence that I was just subject to. After reading previous Unilocal reviews of this Subway, I am in hindsight relieved to have walked out of this Subway without what I had gone for, given the numerous reports of unsanitary practices, stale ingredients, and above all a tragic lack of common courtesy.

the WORST subway I have been to in my life! The Mexican lady was rude, I repeated my order three times and she still got it wrong, the Mexico music was loud. Two ladies are totally rude. So far I had visited twice over there. First time, one lady almost yelled at my 2 years old child who was standing on table. She could have been polite instead terrorizing my child with loud noise. Second time, food was pathetic. I ordered vegg. with tofu sandwich. She intentionally die not well cooked in own as if she was in a hurry. No interest in answering any of my questions. Trying to be over smart ass when I asked how do I get combo? Instead of helping she was asking me questions rude way. Don’t go there if you want to get humillated by both ladies. I am not sure why Subway is not taking sturn action against this frnacise. Most of reviews are same as mine. I will avoid going here.

ZEROSTAR for this subway. I had a Groupon so i decided to get my sandwich on Sunday afternoon. The place had no customer, only two mexican women working. i was looking at the menu for 5 second and one woman(short & chubby) asked rudely what i wanted, so i said im not sure, she yelled at me and said«what bread, what bread!!» I was so shocked… i had no choice to order since i already paid for my groupon. I ordered veggie sandwich on wheat bread. i got random sprinkle of lettus & other veggies, how can you called that a veggie sandwich! When I asked for her name, she said her name was«Rosa». I told her nice & calmly that she could do little more to improve her customer service and she yelled at me to get out! She laughed and said she works 7 days a week and said go ahead & complain. Obviously the owner of this store does not care about their business. I see other Unilocalers complaining about those two Mexican women. I won’t be surprised if this subway closed. There are so many other subways near by, skip this one. Plus this place stunk like sewer and I’m not just talking«ROSA». FYI afterwards I realized ROSA did not wear gloves when she made my sandwich and also for customers that came after me. I ended up throwing away the sandwiches.

The staff at this location is very rude, with no professional and customer skills whatsoever. They treat their customers like s***. I told them what I wanted in my sandwich and they pretended they didn’t hear me. They don’t understand English. I hate lettuce in my sandwich and they had to put lettuce in my sandwich. I wish there were 0 star option so I could just score this store 0. I came here to pick up party platter trays using Groupon. There were 3 Hispanic ladies there, none of them seemed friendly and greeted customers with smile. We were telling them about what we came for but Maria just ignored me completely and asked for groupon print-outs without even listening to what we wanted. Then she started pushing my friends to finish the other 2 additional orders. There was no other customer in line. They are very rude and careless, I would say. After sandwiches were done, Maria put all 4 footlong sandwiches and 4 cookies in one thin plastic bag. I asked for another bag and she kept saying«you have to pay for $ 3.00 taxes». I understand I needed to pay for taxes but couldn’t she give me the bag before I made my payment? I was upset and took out $ 5.00 and handed to her. She gave me back $ 2.00 with no receipt. I then asked for the receipt and she said there was no receipt if I used groupon. It was not about the receipt. I barely want receipt for such small amount, but this store service and staff were so bad that I insisted on getting one. Again, she said no receipt and walked away. I personally think this kind of service is barely seen in most Subway stores. The owner should look into this and make some improvements so store can attract more customers. I would never recommend this store to anyone.

When I was helped by the two ladies over the counter, I remembered why I try to avoid this Subway location, they were unfriendly and didn’t seem to want to be there. I bought a Groupon deal and I had to use it at this location. I’ve been here a few times and the atmosphere isn’t like the other Subways I’ve been to. Staff here is just unfriendly and gives you a bad vibe. No smiles, greeting, or «have a nice day»?? What is their problem? geesh… I love Subway, but I don’t think I will be coming back to this location any time soon.

I hate the service at this location! EVERYTIME I come there is some miscommunication when I am trying to order my food or pay at the register. They always assume everyone wants lettuce so they put lettuce on my sandwich AFTER they ask, «Everything???» No thank you, I like spinach. They just put back the lettuce that just on my sandwich back into the lettuce container. I do not like that contamination because that would violate a vegetarian/vegans sandwich. When you have a problem and want to clarify what you want in your order or what they are trying to sell to you, it always bothers them and I can understand when they speak to one another right in front of me talking crap about me as a customer in Spanish.

Subway is my favorite place to get a quick bite. I’ve been to my fair share of Subways and have always left satisfied. So when I walked into this particular establishment and didn’t hear my favorite greeting, «Hi, welcome to Subway,» I knew things just weren’t gonna be the same… The sandwich engineer didn’t seem like the friendliest person in the world as she was constructing my favorite item on the menu– chicken boobs footlong. But at least the sandwich was consistent in taste as the other Subways. I just wish I got my «Hi, welcome to Subway» salutation…

I wish I could give this Subway zero stars. If I could, I wouldn’t be able to even write a review.(Damnit)… Boyfriend and I came here in the morning and they didn’t even open at the time it said it will open. The Mexican lady was very unprofessional. She seemed very careless and rude making the sandwich and even taking my payment. This place should hire new people to open in the morning. Not to mention, she picked up her phone right after taking my payment and went to the back to talk. She didn’t even take my friends order after so we just left. When bf and I got in the car, we realized that she didn’t even wear gloves when she made our sandwich. WTFMAN. — NEVERCOMINGBACK! They didn’t even give us napkins… and the bread was falling apart. It was leftover everything. Nothing tasted fresh. My cookies were definitely old. What’s wrong with this place?!

I’m very familiar with this Subway. I frequent it on a regular basis. Lets start off by commenting on the previous reviews. I can understand where they are coming from. There is a «CERTAIN» employee that can be intimidating. I’ve felt her wrath, but I’m not one to really care as long as I get my stuff right. It is her usual banter with customers. After a good few months, you know it’s not personal. My sandwiches have always been correct and how I ask for them. I’m not going to lie though, it will turn a lot of people off. Also there is not much room to dine inside, thus why I had to reduce a star. Other than that, it is what you would expect from a Subway.

This is my least favorite Subway in Milpitas. Due to my experiences here I try to avoid this location like the plague but every once in awhile someone talks me into just going. This time the employees rudely tried to convince me that they didn’t serve the new breakfast English muffins throughout the day. I haven’t had a problem elsewhere.
