I eat here at least once a week. Always order a large #3. Best comfort food around if you like a good noodle bowl. Don’t expect a lot of small talk, but definitely expect quick good food for a good price. The hot tea’s always nice too.

Love this place! Been coming for years and the food is always great! The service very fast, you can easily get in and out for lunch, no problem. The only down side, cash only My favorite is number 9 combination won ton noodle soup, I’ve also enjoy their chow mien.

I come here every now and then during the cold months. Its your typical noodle house, helps warm you up during winter. Nothing special, its as typical as other local noodle spots. I like this place only because there is usually ample parking.

Not bad, but I wouldn’t go back. The noodles(#8 or 9) were not that fabulous — they need to be fabulous.

I’ve been coming here for a long time and they never disappoint. There’s a man that works there that is multilingual! Whenever I come in with my family or just my SO, he talks to us in Tagalog. Or when it’s just my SO and I, he talks both Tagalog and Chinese. It’s pretty cool lol. Service is quick. You get your food pretty fast. I always get #1 — combination rice noodle stick or #23 — combination fried crispy noodles! If I’m feeling hungrier than usual, I’ll get the flour cake with egg. It’s Asian food and it’s comforting, nothing special! I ALWAYS get pork skin on the side. It’s so fattening but so good. Get it! Also, they take visa unlike other TK/New Tung Kee locations!

This place is horrible! Bad customer service! They can care less if you ever return! First of all, it’s gross when servers put their thumb in the noodle bowl while placing the bowl on the table. Second, good luck trying to get service after your food has been delivered.

I’m not one to write bad reviews often, but they royally done goofed. I been here before and I can say the food is mediocre at best. Anyways, here’s what happened that made me write this review. I come here on an Sunday morning around 11am with my mom. It’s quite busy, but we were seated quickly. They came and took our order. About 5 minutes pass and we’re thinking, «Oh they’re probably just really busy in the back.»(Keep in mind, food comes out around 5 – 7 minutes on average.) Some people sat down at the tables next to us and they take their orders. About 5 more minutes pass and the OTHER tables get their food first. Now we’re pretty nice people so we ask the server where our food was. He went to the back, came back and told us that it should be coming out in about a minute or two. Another 5 minutes pass… nothing. I ordered a pretty simple and common dish, the wonton noodle soup. and I swear, I saw them carry a wonton noodle soup to another table that came even AFTER the other people that sat next to us. So not one but TWO groups of people got their food before we did. It had already been 20 minutes after we ordered and still nothing. We pulled the waiter aside to ask him again. He apologized and said there was a mix up and it should be coming any minute now. I don’t think they ever got our order in. TL;DR: 3 strikes and I’m out.

The place to go for quick, fast and delicious. The combination rice noodle is just warm and fuzzy. It makes you feel tingly inside. Also, the chow rice noodles are good too. I would recommend extra sauce otherwise it a bit on the dry side. This place is more of a fast food style so don’t expect great service. Tip: You’ll need to pay at the cashier after eating so remember your table number.

Got the chow mein. The noodles were very gummy and tasted off. Midway through, my stomach felt unpleasant. My last bite was very difficult to keep down, but I finished my dish out of politeness for the person paying for my meal. That night I wasn’t able to sleep due to vomiting and diarrhea and the next day it hurt to even live. I ended up having to take two days off of work due to this meal, which makes work really difficult. Judging from everyone else’s reviews, I’m pretty sure I’m the super rare case where the restaurant had an off night with their food. My stomach is a little on the delicate end, but this is the first time I had such a strong reaction. For what it’s worth, you can definitely get a meal quickly and cheaply here.

This is my all time favorite location. I wouldn’t recommend other TK location in the area. The soup at this location is done right.

I really enjoyed the daikon flour cake with peanut and egg. Service didn’t check in often so I hailed the waiter to get another daikon dish! It was so good I wanted two!

Authentic, delicious, and appetizing! I have grown up coming here and I’ve never encountered a «bad food» day. My favorite dish is Combination Over Rice(substituting pork for chicken). This Devine dish is the perfect combination of moist rice, steamed shrimp, steamed chicken, and salad. How can something so simple be so tasteful? I ask myself all the time ;) Tip: In a small bowl, combine their red peppers and some soy sauce. Eat with meal As a side dish, I love their Wonton soup. Often times I settle with just the soup without the Wontons. If you’re a fan of fresh orange juice this is the place to be! Not only is their orange juice so tasteful, all other beverages are just as pleasing. I always like to end my review with, if you’re craving a bite of authentic Chinese food, TUNGKEE is the the place to be!

I have not been here in years. Food is served faster than at McDonald’s and is probably healthier. My usual go to is the wonton noodle soup. Today I had the pan fried noodles. Crispy noodles with assorted beef, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables. These were good as they always are, and again they were served fast. For newbies, always remember your table number, that is what the cashier needs to bill you.

Been here for so many times but haven’t checked in or written a review until now lol shame on me! Anyways I like this place and I think their noodle bowls are really delicious especially during a rainy day or a sick day — but of course you can enjoy this year-round. Ordered #6 today & it’s not too shabby. Half flat noodles and the other is regular yellow noodles. Everything is great but the broth needs to be more seasoned or else it’s really bland for my taste. A little bit on the oily side but not by much. My strawberry smoothie drink with boba isn’t as sweet as I’d like but it’ll do. They tend to make their food/drinks here quite bland so you will have to taste and alter it to your liking.

Nearly 20 years of eating at this location, and I can’t believe I haven’t written a review! The food is always consistent and yummy. This TK noodle is located in the Safeway shopping center off the busy Calaveras blvd, and is probably the best out of the 3 locations I have eaten. It’s always packed on weekend afternoons. Favorites include: fried taro cake, #22 crispy fried noodles, and chicken rice stick noodle soup. Nothing fancy, just quick, efficient, good food.

Solid 4⁄5 stars (very diner-esque ambiance – you go here for the cheap delicious food!) Out of all the TK noodle house venues in the bay area, my family loves this one the best, and I would agree. I have been going to TK noodle as a little kid. The food is fresh and the price is cheap! I typically order the following – whichever my mood craves: 1) Daikon flour cake: 3⁄5 2) Beef Stew Rice Stick Noodle Soup: 4⁄5 3) Combo Chow Fun: 3.5÷5 4) Fried Taro cake: 3.5÷5(I like it slightly better than the Daikon flour cake) 5) Egg noodle with wonton 3⁄5(i rarely order this since we make this dish at home) 6) Satay beef – I ask for the yellow noodle(no rice sticks aka white fat noodle) 5⁄5 this is my favorite. I don’t think I have seen this on any other menu. I usually order this dish even though it is fatty :)

Solid noodle shop. These restaurants are quite popular in the bay, they have 5 different locations. Was at this South Bay location with a couple of friends. Many items on the menu and we each ordered something different. You can choose between small and large bowls. I like that. I had the Chiu Chow noodles with both yellow mien and rice noodle. Broth was good and both noodles were made just right. I enjoyed my dish and it was pretty close to the authentic home taste I was craving. Close. I said close. :) I was with 3 buff guys and they all enjoyed there noodle dishes. Solid noodle spot. I also had a honeydew boba and dining companion had an avocado shake. Thumbs up!

Sick… What cures it? Chicken Noodle Soup? Maybe. Ordered to go: — Combination Chicken Noodle Soup with Wontons $ 8.00 Tina’s Tricks and Ticks — Very hot spot, people always here — Parking is limited, but large lot across the way — Cash only — It was yummy, maybe because I’m sick, but it sure hit the spot. The chicken noodle soup is specialized in the Chiu Chow type(someone told me) I’m not sure if it’s true. — Definitely will come back to try the restaurant when I’m free.

It’s hard to judge this place the same as any regular restaurants because it’s «TK» and it’s indeed one-of-a-kind — aka«TurnKey» for rapid dining experience — You sit, order, eat, pay and get out. The restaurant is arranged to maximize seating and service efficiency. The high-tech staff have eyes like eagle and they are equipped with the lastet WiFi handheld devices to take down your orders the second you plant your behind on the bench. There’s plenty of hustle and bustle — table busting, people talking, kids yelling, and an array of languages being exchanged. The entire meal can be finished in 15 min if you are in a rush. It’s Asian fast food with a twist and that’s the way I like it uh –huh. Came in for my favorite #2 spicy beef satay with rice noodle. As always, it’s what I would expect it to always taste like and very satisfying. Others got a wonton with egg noodle and seafood with both egg and rice noodle. I still remember when TK costed around three bucks but price has creeped up over the years like everything else but still affordable.
