They don’t have many options. It’s probably one of the smallest buffets in the world. It’s a hit and miss when it comes to quality. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it’s horrible. You purchase TO-GO by the tray not by the weight, but the cooks/owners will follow you around and stop you if you put too much on the plate and even tell you to put some back. If they want to be that particular they should just charge by the weight. No one wants someone right behind them watching them get food. I think they need to understand there are boundaries you don’t cross as business professionals, and they are crossing that boundary when they’re breathing down a customers neck. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know.

Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café… oh wait, I mean at Judy’s Country Kitchen in Milledgeville GA. A smallish buffet restaurant. Yummy fried green tomatoes and baked yams. Fried chicken was really crispy. Plenty of southern food like collard greens and mac & cheese. Desserts did not look interesting but I ate so many fried green tomatoes and yams that I didn’t care. Very reasonable prices!

It doesn’t get more«Milledgeville» than this.(I was born in the town, so I’m qualified to say it.) A buffet with reasonably tasty food at reasonable prices. If you’re veg, plan on stocking up on starches(mac and cheese, potatoes, etc., since lots/most of the vegetables are cooked with meat). If you’re vegan, look elsewhere. If you like fried chicken, theirs is really good. Salad bar is mediocre. Desserts, too. But if you find something you like(like sweet potatoes in my case), you can get all you want.
