Like a trip back in time to the shoe stores of my childhood. Where knowledgable salesman fitted you and truly understood what craftmanship meant. Unlike most stores were some kid is too busy texting to help you out. I was in here on Sunday and although they did not have what I wanted in my size I still received excellent service. I had come in looking for Timberland boots but I will be returning to try on the shoes I saw on the shelves which were all on sale at what appeared to be very good prices. The selection here is excellent from work shoes to casual wear. I brought my children here to get shoes and if you have small children this is the place to go. Located on Millburn Avenue and there is plenty of parking available. Please patronize this local non-chain business.

Very knowledgeable and professional staff and willing to help you with your selection. The prices arent that much higher and what you may save at a bigger store or online, you get in the way of a proper fit here.

Exactly what a shoe store should be. Skilled professionals help fit you, and by «professional» I mean gentlemen who have devoted themselves to selling shoes assist you, rather than bored teenagers who’d rather be anywhere else. Great selection of high-quality shoes, too, including great brands like Allen-Edmonds and Teva. Not crazy about the preponderance of Florsheim shoes, which tend to dominate the dress shoe section. But the homey atmosphere and old-school devotion make Futter’s a Millburn institution in a way that’s fast disappearing from retail. Only thing holding this place back from a coveted 5 star review is the allegiance to list prices($ 125 for Doc Martens — ouch!) and the brutality of parking in downtown Millburn, esp now with the parking deck project underway.
