CASHONLY! Other than that I loved this place. My mother is vegan so it was great for her to have so many options. This place proves that you don’t need cheese to make a great pizza. The owners and staff there are absolutely lovely too.

Having just moved to the area, we found Tony Tutto’s pizza on Unilocal and were excited to try them out. We visited late on a weekend evening and were very delighted to find this place. The pizza was fantastic and the ambiance of the outdoor seating only added to the beauty of this place. Beyond that, we met Tony’s wife who later told Tony that we were first time customers and he came out to meet us and talked to us for a good 10 minutes. Their personal touch and care for their customers makes this place better than most if not any local pizza places you will find. Finally their organic and fresh ingredients make a world of difference as far as taste goes. Definitely try them out!

Who knew vegetarian pizza could be so good! Delicious thin but not brittle crust, fresh ingredients put together perfectly. Service was spectacular!

Tony Tutto’s has been on my radar for years. I don’t really venture out to Mill Valley all that often. When I do, I’ve usually already stopped off in Corte Madera for Veggie Grill. This time however, I actually bypassed VG in order to finally try out this famous local pizza shop. Upon walking through their patio, I was a bit surprised to find what looked like a small corner store deli. Am I still in Mill Valley? Like any good corner store, their refrigerated section was well stocked with beer and wine. Unlike most corners stores that aren’t in SF, they actually have good quality stuff here. I was delighted to be able to enjoy my pizza with a can of Headlands Hill 88DIPA. This still being in Marin, they offer you a glass for your drinks. They are 100% vegetarian but half the menu is Vegan as well. Let’s face it, Vegan pizza is basically a gigantic glorified breadstick if not done right. Thankfully Tony gets that. He doesn’t resort to fake cheese to make the pizza edible. They instead opt for the less is more approach. Simple, fresh, ingredients that are thoughtfully formulated for each pizza. My babygirl doesn’t do spicy and they don’t really do modifications to their barebones menu. Even if you could, there’s not much to change as the topping choices are relatively sparse. Olives, arugula, onions, tomatoes and not too much else. All the best sounding pizzas had chili oil, chili flakes, or peppers of some sort. Great for me, not so great for spice adverse folks. The pizza was phenomenal. Akin to what those newfangled express pizza joints are doing nowadays but 10 times better. It also takes a bit longer but that extra time is what helps make the thicker crust so crunchy, yet soft and chewy at the same time. My favorite of the two that we tried was the Puttanesca. It was loaded with olives, garlic and calabrian chili that was liberally drizzled onto the pie. It’s a good size portion for $ 12. Sure beats going to get a «pie“ology to «rev» you up, where you can«mod» a «blaze“ing hot pizza for nearly the same amount of dough, that isn’t nearly as good. I’ll stick with Uncle Tony’s for sure!

I have been going to Tony Tutto’s since it opened in Mill Valley and it never disappoints. Tony and his wife, Lynn are the nicest people you will ever meet. They come over to your table and will give you their biggest smiles. Lynn will give out their logo stickers to kids and Tony will easily make conversation with you. The pizza here is incredible, the best in town in my opinion. The love supreme is my personal favorite. The thin crust, tomato sauce, and the organic basil(grown in their garden) is so delicious and warm when it is served to you. They also offer a great variety of drinks(for kids + adults) to pair with your pizza. The atmosphere of Tony Tutto’s is family-friendly. On a Friday night it can get quite busy(from kids’ sports games) and may take a little time to get your order. But normally, the service is amazing. Unfortunately, they only accept cash but there is an ATM nearby. Also, parking sometimes can be a problem since the lot is a bit small. You should also note that the place is vegan and on Sundays they serve gluten-free crust. Great food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend going to Tony Tutto’s and I will continue to support Tony and his business.

While the service is a little uneven and the cash-only status may bother some, the thin-crust pizza is a very, very good value. The options are entirely vegan or vegetarian, and I noticed on Sundays you can choose gluten-free crust. The place itself is more of a deli-style layout, with limited indoor seating, but the expansive patio(some of which is covered in case of rain) could make for a delightful meal. The smallish parking lot comes in handy for pizza customers.

A friend and I stumbled upon this cozy little pizzeria while exploring Mill Valley. We ordered two pizzas and were very satisfied with our orders. Our pizzas were extremely fresh, seasonal, and tasty. And the crust was light and perfect. There is a nice outdoor seating area and the open kitchen allows you to watch your pizzas while they are being made. The owner, Tony, is an extremely kind gentleman and is very passionate about his craft. He plays a hands-on role in the kitchen and wants to make sure his customers enjoy their food. After we were done with our dinner he came outside and told us about how he got his start and asked us to take some calazone and salad for to-go. I am so glad I found this place and will definitely come back! Thank you, Tony Tutto!

They only do vegetarian or vegan pizzas which is fine for me. I really don’t mind. They don’t have ice and only canned sodas. I like ice with my soda. They don’t take credit card. Really? Charge an extra 3% and be done? I ordered the Caramelized onion and Gorgonzola pizza. Good flavor, but the onions were far from Caramelized. They were just sliced red onion. A little more push to the edges with the ingredients would have been nice. In the world of artisanal pies it was fine, but nothing special. Decent value for Marin. Service was really nice and I would return.

I am not sure why anybody recommends this place. As you walk in, there is a cash only sign. It is really tacky and the closest atm is a couple blocks away. I ordered the mushroom pizza. But was really in the mood for some onions. Apparently tony doesn’t like adding toppings. Then the tables are uncomfortable but while waiting there is no privacy. Once the pizza came we asked for some Parmesan on the side. Apparently tony doesn’t like that. That’s gonna cost you extra. The menu is completely vegetarian because that’s apparently how tony likes his food. Overall tony, I expected better. Never again coming back.

Be warned, this place is cash only or local checks. The nearest atm is 3 blocks away. That should have been my first clue. The menu is vegetarian and vegan only, a plus in my book. When I asked if I could do any substitutions it was a no. The pizza came out okay. If you want Parmesan cheese it’s extra. Definitely would not come back or recommend this place. The best part was the heated lamp on the patio.

*Best thin crust pizza in town!* This place accepts local check and CASHONLY. The closest ATM is about three blocks away, so best to keep that in mind before dining here. I was tempted to give this place less stars for the reason above, but I really think it’s deserving of a solid 5 for the food quality(I appreciate the local, ultra fresh ingredients) and relaxed ambiance of a charming small town establishment. My coworker recommended this place, and I came here recently with a friend, a Midwest native who takes their Chicago-style pizza very seriously. We are both non-vegetarian/vegans, though for a change, we decided to try Tony Tutto’s. The aftermath of our seven hour non-stop hike(nearby Mount Tam) also left us desperate for pizza. At the register, they have special pizzas of the day on display. The ingredients sounded good but we instead opted for the regular menu and ordered the following: —-«Whiter Shade of Pale» pizza, $ 13 [ Consisted of three types of cheese, ricotta salata, parmigiano reggiano, fresh garlic, rosemary, basil, organic olive oil and sea salt I absolutely loved the combination of herbs. The rose Mary is very fragrant and very fresh. After all, they grow their own basil and rose Mary leaves right outside the patio!!! You can see the pots when you walk by the entrance. —-Lasagna organic spinach and tomato sauce, $ 8 [ Incredible! The mozzarella was also very fresh and had a great texture. Parking here shouldn’t be an issue. There’s a spacious private lot next to it available for diners!

We ordered the Mountain Rose Potato pizza last night and it was sublime. The combination of textures and flavors was incredible. We have had pizza from all over the world(Napoli — the epicenter of great pizza, NYC, Chicago, Philly, DC, etc.). The pizza we had yesterday may just be the best I have had yet! All natural ingredients, made to order and an incredibly friendly staff make this pizza restaurant our go-to and one I would recommend over and over.

Love this place! I have been here a few times. Nice outdoor picnic type tables nice during spring and summer. In winter they have heaters. They have a good variety of beers to choice from in their fridge pick and pay.

First thing to know: CASHONLY! Tony Tutto’s was on a high pedestal after hearing raves from Marin friends and reading all the adoring reviews. While it’s not the *best* pizza I’ve had(small portions, no menu modifications), it is very tasty and I can appreciate this family-run operation for their focus on quality, organic ingredients, the cute outdoor seating area, and copious wine & beer selection. On a Friday night, we stopped in to grab 2 pizzas to bring to a friend’s house. Menu is 100% vegetarian, with a ton of delicious combos, but don’t try to add or change anything — we asked for a side of pizza sauce to dip our crust in and were denied! No subs, no sides, just order the pizza the way they make it. It took about 20 mins for them to make & fire our pizzas, not bad. Pizzas were about $ 15 each, and are a good portion for 2 moderately hungry people. For 4 people, you’ll want 3 pizzas, as the slices are pretty small. Points for being gourmet & healthy, though could be pricey if you’re feeding a large group.

I had no idea, but apparently this is a gem of Mill Valley(so I’m told). There’s a lot to love about this place, although the pizza I ordered was only okay. Thankfully our table neighbors gave us a slice of their pizza and it was very yummy. I love the local, fresh ingredients. I took my son, just he and I. We sat at one of the community tables(picnic benches) and had a great conversation with a mother and daughter. You order inside and they deliver your pizza to you, where you’ll probably be outside on their cool patio. The décor on the inside isn’t so much made for guests sitting down as much as ordering, but the décor outside is great. Lots of picnic tables and Christmas lights surrounded by shrubberies. Our dishes: A Love Supreme This is the Margherita pizza. It was pretty good, but not great. 4⁄5 Magic Mushroom This wasn’t my style. Won’t be ordering it again 2⁄5 Kale and Cauliflower Didn’t see tis pizza on the menu, but it tasted very good. 5⁄5 The pizzas were of pretty good value. $ 12-$ 15 /pie isn’t too bad.

Agreed, best pizza for the price, especially in Marin. Love that it’s handmade, ingredients are fresh and local. Probably not the ‘best’ pizza I’ve had, but delicious thin crust, nice selection of ingredients and balance. We had the magic mushroom w/fresh shiitake mushrooms. Requested fresh garlic, but they wouldn’t put it on ;(. Everything is better with garlic! Kids enjoyed the margarita pizza– basic cheese pizza, but oh so much better! Nice patio, and best part is the price! Under $ 30 for 2 pizzas, a few sodas and a side salad. Even free stickers for the kids! Simple, but delicious. Our dinner was less than our gelato dessert afterward. Great local place. Thanks Unilocalers for sharing this gem.

Very low key joint off a busy road in Mill Valley serving up pizza in a locals-only casual setting complete with red picnic tables and a grab it yourself drinks section(with a great selection of bottled craft beer and beverages.) At Tony Tutto, the organic ingredients used seem very fresh. Their arugula salad came prepacked in the cold case in recycled plastic and we ate it off compostable paper plates(i.e.über casual. picnicy feel to this place) but gesh the lettuce and tomatoes tasted like they had been plucked that day from an organic garden, just bursting with flavor and nicely complemented with some ricotta salata and a homemade dressing with mossy olive oil. Their ingredients are excellent. We ordered three pizzas, but by far the best one was the Magic Mushroom with smoked mozzarella, thyme, earthy shiitakes and banana peppers. Prices are insane: we had three full pizzas, a salad, a two-person sized craft Belgian beer, and a sparkling juice, all for less than $ 60. Best pizza prices in town.(Note: cash or local check only.) The beer we plucked from the back of the cooler was an ace –an ale from Cooperstown NY that tasted like it was straight from a trappist abbey. The folks running this very casual spot are delightfully friendly. It’s easy to see why this is a Mill Valley locals favorite.

For my money, this is some of the best pizza in all of southern Marin! Tony Tutto Pizza is a Mill Valley institution. This is the quintessential mom & pop pizza shop. Every pizza is made-to-order and made-with-love. As most people know, I’m a huge carnivore. I like me some pepperoni and sausage on my pizza as much as the next hungry hippo. However, Tony Tutto is strictly vegetarian. But take my word for it — the pizza/toppings are so damn good, you won’t miss the meat. I promise. A fun, little factoid — Greg, the owner(aka Tony), used to be Santana’s manager back in the day. So he clearly has a strong music background. And every pizza on Tony Tutto’s menu has a clever musical name or reference. Case in point — the Peter, Paul, and Pesto(made with pesto, pinenuts, Tony Tutto three cheese blend, basil, parmigiano reggiano), and A Love Supreme(named after the John Coltraine album), which is essentially a Pizza Margherita made with organic San Marzano tomato sauce, the Tony Tutto three cheese blend, basil, sea salt, organic extra virgin olive oil, and Bitches Brew(organic San Marzano tomato sauce, green/red/yellow onions, crushed red peppers flakes, oregano, sea salt, organic extra virgin olive oil). The restaurant also offers vegan options, as well as salads, soups, lasagna, and calzone. And if you’re thirsty, they have 50 artisan beers & wines to wash down your meal. While I’ve only ordered my pizza to-go, Tony Tutto has a very inviting patio area. So if the weather is nice, it’s a comfortable spot to dine under the stars. * Important to note — the restaurant doesn’t accept credit cards. It’s cash only here, my friends(so be sure to visit the ATM beforehand). Also, they’re only open Wednesday — Sunday(11:30am — 9pm).

This is going to be short. Five stars. Fantastic. Delicious. Super people. Great Italian style pizza, many choices with very different tastes, great for kids and probably what’s the oddest thing about TTP is that it’s actually cheap. Yes, in Mill Valley you have one of the best pizza’s you’ll ever have and it’s cheap. It’s the craziest combination. You can order two pizza’s for what you’ll pay for one elsewhere and they’re just killer pizzas. Take for instance that the basil leaves are grown right on the patio. The ingredients are sourced locally and top quality. There’s a special most every night — a special combination that Tony creates. He has great wines to compliment and knows his stuff. It’s a low key place where the focus is on creating beautiful pizza pies. I absolutely love this place. Nothing more to say.

Vegane Pizza? * Organic butternut squash, smoked mozzarella, sweet red onion, ricotta salata, sage, sea salt, organic extra virgin olive oil. *Truffle sauce, organic shitake mushroom, Tony’s 3 cheese blend, lemon thyme, sea salt, organic extra virgin olive oil. * Mixed olives, organic tomato sauce, Tony’s 3 cheese blend, basil, parmigiano reggiano, organic extra virgin olive oil.
