Best pediatrician in the world. He helped us through the first few years with our girls and we miss him very much now that he’s retired and we have a newborn again!!! We wish him very well.

Dr. Ernster is everything you would want your children’s pediatrician to be. He is kind, funny, patient, WISE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. He is always patient with my silly questions and never makes us feel rushed. We are so happy our OB recommended him. He sees all of her kids too!

In fact every Dr. we have seen there is terrific.

My three children (6, 4 and 1) are all under the care of Dr. Ernster. I LOVE him — he takes the health and well-​being of his patients extremely seriously and is also always exceptionally warm and kind. My children adore him and love going to the doctor! His front office staff are competent and friendly and the nurses are simply wonderful. I have seen a couple of the other doctors at his practice and have had positive experiences with them as well. They recently moved locations and the new offices are very clean and spacious.
Dr. Ernster takes the time to develop very meaningful relationships with his patients and their families. My eldest son battled with crippling pneumonia and croup as a toddler and Dr. Ernster supported us not only medically, but emotionally.
My only issue is with my insurance — we have an HMO and as the Mill Valley office is a secondary location (his primary offices are in the City), we had to sign up for a San Francisco based medical group which means if we have to take to kids to the after-​hours clinic we have to haul to the City.
