This is one of the best teriyaki places I’ve been to. The owners are always polite and respectful. I have never felt unwanted. Price is not the cheapest but I’ll pay for good teriyaki. Everything I have ordered has always had great portions and full of flavor. The teriyaki sauce is not thinned out or gellified. Never been sick either. Would recommend to everyone.

This place is above average in the Seattle Teriyaki world. I’ve had their Chicken Breast teriyaki, their Yaki-Udon stir-fry, their chow-mein and their Udon soup. It was all pretty tasty and I’ll definitely eat here again. The flavors were good and the food wasn’t overly greasy. The gyoza was good as well. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I downgrade stars for unjustifiably high prices and/or small portion size. The chow-mein was the only item on this list that I felt came in a reasonable portion size for the price. I’ll be back for the chow-mein but I’ll get my teriyaki elsewhere.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki; there was a short black hair in the white sticky rice. I’ll keep searching for my go to spot in Everett.

Quite tasty! I can safely say that this is my favorite teriyaki place in the area. They have generous portion sizes and fair prices. They also include a cup of miso soup with every order. All in all, great place with awesome food.

Just ordered a side of gyoza an spicy chicken breast on my way to work. Gyoza was good but the chicken was terrible. Very bland, meat tastes old. I don’t know what it is but it does not taste good at all. Will not come back.

This place is amazing! I’ve been here dozens of time and have not once been disappointed. They have such a large selection of dishes, and each one is as unique as it is delicious. I highly recommend the General Tso’s chicken, the Asparagus Chicken, or the California rolls.

I LOVE this place. Best teriyaki close to me… and I have a lot of choices. We have been getting take-out from there for at least 5 years. I really enjoy their salmon teriyaki!

Joy Teriyaki is a nice place you can get quick food that is warming and nourishing and actually pretty good. I find it interesting that most of the Teriyaki joints(Teriyaki having its origins in Japan) around here(which are as common as Latte stands around here) are run by ethic Koreans. They do a credible job, mind you, but this, as well as most other ones have a mixed Japanese/Korean/Chinese menu. this one primarily leaning towards Japanese. Thumbs up for that. Their portion sized are generous and their food is good. The help is friendly and generally don’t have any difficulty communicating with you. What’s nice is the free tea and ice-cold water and miso soup(for most meals) when you eat in. If you are a big eater, they have combo specials for around $ 9 that are for you. Don’t forget to eat your greens! My favorite is the Chicken Katsu and their California rolls(very fresh). Their prices are great too. Drop by if you are hankering some Japanese or Chinese stir fry. Enjoy!

I really like Joy Teriyaki. My family and I frequent this restaurant because it is near our home and the food is always very good, great portion sizes and the price is reasonable. I enjoy the general tso’s chicken, or the spicy chicken, and my son swears the mandarin chicken is the best he ever had. I like how you can choose your spice level(1 through 5) and the people that own/work there are very nice. They always have a handful of specials to try, normally only around $ 8 for a large plate full of food, including the entrée, rice, salad, soup. Highly recommended!
