Papa John’s Pizza

THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER! Just ordered a pizza from them today to have it delivered to my house. Well I get a call from the guy who’s delivering it, he says he’s up near wal mart! Dude I live in the opposite side of Mililani!!! And the I get three calls back asking if I can give him directions when I hear God going off in the background. My pizza is 20 minutes late already!
So I call the store and ask to speak with the manager. All he told me was ill talk to him sir.
So another call comes after I get off the phone with the manager, I’m near Mililani uka so where’s your house from here. Wth is going on! So I just tell him to drop it back off to store and I’ll pick it up. But when I get there they try to add complimentary wing and that if have to wait another 29 min for cause they didn’t put it in the maker yet. I’m never coming back to this place ever. I think this location need new everything. Management, drivers and workers. When I picked up my order, I was the only pizza on the rack no other orders being made and people just sitting in the back doing nothing. If upper management wants to contact me please do so cause I would like to give you an ear full as well

We wanted to order pizza at about 10:15pm on a Wednesday night. Papa Johns was one to the few pizza places open in Mililani, so after calling to see what kind of specials they had that day, we decided to order from here.
The pizza special was great (in theory)! It was $ 10 for a large specialty pizza when you ordered it online, so that’s what we did.
Then I found out that although they were open until 11:00pm, we could only have delivery past 10pm (and we settled with that because my boyfriend likes that it comes with the free garlic butter and pepper).
It took about 45 minutes to have it delivered, the location is literally 2 minutes away from my house and of course at 11pm at night there’s no traffic! And then with all the surcharges and tip, everything came out to $ 17, which then we might as well have gotten a better quality pizza –_-”

i order an extra large pizza regular pan .when i finally got my pizza, i was so disappointed; it was so thin and poorly made, sauce was all over the bottom of the pizza. it had made the pizza so soggy and greasy.
i called the restaurant and spoke to michelle. she said she’ll go ahead and replace the pizza. 45 minutes later and still waiting for the replacement for the original order. finally called and asked for the manager and spoke to the person by the name james john. he said that he personally made the pizza we ordered and found nothing wrong with it. to make the story short… he refused to replace the pizza we ordered and he was so cocky and rude and told me there is nothing wrong with his pizza and he will not be sending a replacement. after waiting nearly 2 hours for the problem to be resolved only to come to the realization that nothing was going to be done… now my kids are hungry and disappointed and have no choice but to take the lost for the pizza i paid for that was not to their standards. i will never waste my money to buy from papa johns ever again. horrible customer service and had no value for their customers. thanks for taking my money and not meeting the standard of making the true extra large pizza. you can’t make large dough and stretch it to make extra large pizza. thinking customers will not noticed the difference.

Do yourself a favor and just call Dominos! I’ve tried this location a few times, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but every time it just gets worse and worse. If you order from this location, plan on waiting at least 1 hour for your order to be delivered. Don’t base your wait time on the email you get from them. It will be at a minimum a 1 hour wait. Yesterday was the last straw for me and the last time I’ll order from Papa John’s while I’m on this island. Not only did it take over an hour to deliver 1 medium pizza with garlic knots, when my order FINALLY did arrive, it wasn’t even the correct pizza. I paid for a premium pizza and didn’t even receive the correct order. Just plain frustrating after you wait for over an hour. Not to mention the delivery guy looked like he was high as a kite when he showed up. Didn’t say a word to me, just handed me my pizza and could barely open his eyes. Unfortunately I had already pre-​tipped when I ordered online. Otherwise I wouldn’t have tipped him anything.

So we ordered the pizza online and our order went through at 5:47 and the pizza didn’t show up at the door until 6:37… yeah okay not bad right? Okay so the pizza guy shows up he gives us our order, total about $ 40 yeah okay whatever, and THEN dude has the audacity to say «Wow, no tip?» WTF??? Yeah k, gave him his tip, now get outta here!
Open the box and the pizza wasn’t even hot as if it was just sitting on the counter and they forgot about, but seriously? I’m hungry & tired from work and I get this? Yeah whatever dude, save yourself the trouble and go to Pizza Hut.

Good luck getting your pizza! We called at 5:00pm for delivery and it’s now 6:55pm. This is just about THE WORST service we’ve ever had! I wish there was an option to not give any stars, but apparently it’s mandatory minimum 1. We wanted to try Papa Johns because its been years since we ate there. Why does it take 2 hours for 1 pizza and the brownie dessert? Called to check on it and whoever took the order didn’t process it. The manager was apologetic (ok that gets the 1 star) and said he’ll redo our order and deliver for free, but not holding any hope for it. Seriously! If you want pizza in Mililani delivered, go to Pizza Hut or Dominos! They have way better service than this place.

I ordered through the phone because the site wasn’t working. I ordered extra an extra dipping sauce and some peperoncinis. I called just to let them know and got out on hold for 10 – 15 minutes, then some other guy came on and tells me «HELLO! yeah I can help you.» I told him I didn’t get my extra sides but no big deal he’s so he tells me «okay… Well uh I guess the delivery guy can drive allllll the way back there JUST for those two things, OR get a refund JUST for those things we forgot.» I wasn’t asking for a refund or BS sarcastic attitude. I live barely 5 minutes away BTW. Worse service ever

Pizza is good but a good deal going on now is the web Wednesday. You order a large 3 topping or specialty pizza on line for $ 10. Lots of free parking but located on the quieter side of Mililani, a little out of the way.

Went there a couple of nights ago to pick up our order. WORST customer service ive ever had anywhere! Girl who was working the counter, was rude as soon as we stepped in the door. Slammed the reciept & pen… on top of throwing my credit card back at me. WORST customer service ever.
I definitely dont recommend.

Our go-​to for quick, friendly service and take out. Papa Johns run a little more pricey than on the mainland but the food is really awesome. I like pizza (read love) and regret my paleo dieting decisions each day I’m not able to dial a friendly voice to take me to Pizza Heaven. Dough is gooey, chewy and the slices are hefty but manageable. I like to stuff in like a luau pig and then sit back with some dessert option and a 2-​liter. My meat favorites are seldom ever overcooked and they also have the super convenient build-​a-​pizza and delivery request all online. And you can even earn points to a free pizza after so many purchases. Why not get free eats to eat? Don’t feel like cooking, try these guys out. They also have bike parking and limited seating for burning those calories you’re enjoying.

Ordered a pizza at 220pm and it took 96 minutes for my order to arrive. It was barely warm and the Soda was room temperature… Also when I finally go to get a slice of pizza it wasn’t even cut all the way through so I had to cut my own pizza. Just avoid this place I know I will from now on.

I have lived all over the country and the Papa John’s in Mililani is THE WORST LOCATION IN AMERICA! They are always very slow to deliver and completely disregard their stated delivery time of no more than 1 hour. It’s hit or miss at best as far as the quality as far as how well it’s baked and expect it to be COLD. Employees are incredibly lazy, incompetent, probably high on crystal meth, and customer service is the rudest you can expect anywhere. Go with Pizza Hut or Domino’s if you live in Mililani.

We’ve tried many Papa John’s locations, this one is the best. Our pizzas turned out awesome, delivery guy called me and he let me know when he will arrive exactly. I’ve had the most delicious Spinach Alfredo ever from this location. We tipped him well. Good job.

Worst place ever. I would give then no stars if I could. I ordered a pizza and was told 30 minutes. I went to pick it up and waited an additional 30 minutes after!!! The workers stood around and did nothing. I gave another chance after bc I love their pizza.
I tried to order online but one of the promo codes I received in the mail wasn’t for the same deal as when I the promo code. I called to explain it wasn’t working. I experienced such bad customer service with a lady who was rude on the phone. Her boss was a bit more understanding but I took my business to Pizza Hut instead due to terrible customer service.
Sorry papa johns mililani, you lost me as a customer.

I love Pizza Hut. Usually.
I say that to say this: Papa John’s got our business because last time we ordered out here, Mililani Pizza Hut crashed and burned on their crust (although the Kuakini location is still ok), AND Papa John’s now offers a 2-​for-​1 card like Pizza Hut’s literacy card. $ 10 bucks and good for 12 months from purchase.
But we like them for their current Web Wednesday deal – $ 10 for a large specialty pizza. Can’t beat $ 20 for 2 large specials. We only order online/​with the iPhone app, and always use the online deal codes. It’s just easier. And cheaper. And EASIER.
We get the thin crust, because pizza in Hawaii is… pizza in Hawaii (ey, if you’ve lived or travelled anywhere else, you KNOW it’s true – no act!). There’s always something off with the sauce or the crust, no matter what shop we get the pie from, so thin crust has been the way to go for us.

+iPhone app makes ordering MUCH easier than calling it in
+That little pepperoncini is fun, unless you’re fighting off your family to eat it (just buy a jar of them, already, you guys!)
+If you want to eat in, there’s a bunch of tables. AND a bathroom (unisex, but still – look! A bathroom! Yay!)

–No, no stuffed crust. By that or any other name. Ever.
–Calling the order in can be painful on your patience. Fo’ real.
–Regular prices are NUTS.
BOTTOM LINE: Going back. On Wednesday. For pickup. And ordering online.

I’m giving Papa John’s Pizza 5 stars for their awesome service tonight. The operator was friendly and paid close attention when my friend was telling the address and phone number. She did not have to repeat herself. He told her it would take no longer than 30 – 45 minutes to have our pizza ready. 45 minutes later it was served on the kitchen table. Good job staff of the night! You did good this time !

Called at 5:51pm. I looked online prior to calling and wanted to get the BOGO Tuesday special. When I called, they asked if I wanted to hear the specials… I said sure! I didn’t hear the BOGO, so I asked if they had that special. The person who picked up the phone had to ask whoever in the back… Told them what I wanted and specifically said DELIVERY. I hung up and was anxiously waiting. I had my daughter check the front door every time our dog barked. She got irritated after checking a handful of times. At 7:08pm I finally called them to see what was up! Omg! They had us down for pickup! Wth! I told them I wanted delivery. They apologized and said that they will remake the pizza and deliver it. At this time it was 7:10. They said that it will take 20 minutes! 20 minutes to remake 2 pizzas and deliver it to Mauka??? It’s 7:25pm now… Time is ticking! … It’s now 7:35pm… I hear a car outside! And the dog is barking! Yeh! My husband goes outside and sees its a Pizza Hut car next door! Epic fail! Lol!

So far every time in, friendly courteous service. Waits are reasonable. And they occasionally have a very nice looking girl working here. I am pretty happy with the pizza too, nice flavor.

One night around 7:45pm ordered a pizza — had to repeat the cell number & address literally 3 times! OK, so the order will take about 45 mins… which means somewhere around 8:30ish to expect pizza. Well… it was about 9:00pm & NO PIZZA. Called to check on the «status» of the food… the lady says «oh well the driver & myself tried to call you twice when he was outside» …how can?! I was sitting RIGHT THERE OUTSIDE! then the lady says «oh well we must have the wrong address».
SEROUSLY. gave the guy the address & phone number 3 times each!!! SO THEN… she said they’re gonna make another pizza & have it sent on its way in 30mins.
it’s seriously after 9:30pm waiting. then eating dinner.
pizza was free.
but still… unacceptable.

My arteries are clogging as I write this from the garlic dipping sauce that I drenched my pizza with.
When I don’t want to cook Papa always is there to rescue me and my mom. I love the thin crust Hawaiian pizza and I’m glad that they started giving the dipping sauce again after a brief hiatus. Although I tend to like Domino’s, Papa John’s is a close second and closer to my house now that Domino’s closed up shop.
The Mililani branch is almost always way quicker than the time they tell you that they are going to deliver your food. Hold on, I think the left side of my body is going numb.
