Mililani Recreation Center II

Heated pool. Perfect for a late night swim.

The renovations are great. New and more picnic areas, a new jungle gym and park area and the pool is heated to 84° year-​round. Park on the street if the lot is full.

Of all the Mililani Rec Centers, this is our favorite one. It’s not the largest center, by any means, but I love how it feels very private. We frequent Rec. 7, but I can’t help but feel it’s so exposed with nearby houses able to see. Rec. 2 has trees surrounding the pool area, which is fenced in. I like that type of privacy.
Another reason why we like this one the best is we swear it’s the warmest of all the pools. Maybe because it doesn’t catch much of the cold draft, but the water seems to be warmer here.
I have to edit my review when they reopen. They are currently going under construction. Apparently the main building was old and needed to be torn down. It’s completely demolished right now. It was fine for us before. With clean showers and a small roofed bench and table area by the pool before the current construction going on, any renovations done to this rec center is only going to make it even better! I can’t wait til this place opens up, again.
