Food is amazing and the service is great! I tried the tacos with pear salsa before and it was great! I also love the flavor combos in the hamburger steak. Prices can be a bit steep, but honestly not too bad for the amount and quality. Excited to try their breakfast options!

Two thumbs up! FOOD: Fresh, made to order and so ono! SERVICE: On point! If they’re not busy, they actually take the time to talk story with their customers. Something you usually only get in a sit down restaurant! Good job, guys! CONVENIENCE: YES! Close to work. And they’re here every weekday except Wednesdays. They’re also here early in the morning, so I can get my breakfast fix too!

Originally wanted to get the Chicken Katsu, but I got there too late and lunch hour was almost over. So, I chose the Pork Adobo, which was to die for. The portion was great and the seasoning… well…let’s just say, I will be back for more this week. :-) The service was great too. Makes a difference when people are friendly. You guys rock!

Been here twice so far. The first time, they ran out of the chicken katsu, so I ended up getting the Chili($ 5). It was ok, nothing particularly memorable beyond being a cheap satisfying lunch. The second time, I did get the chicken katsu($ 9) which comes with 2 scoops rice and a small serving of green salad and I enjoyed it. The katsu batter is light with higher quality panko and they cook it to order, so it was crisp on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Definitely a step up from what one would expect from a lunch truck and will challenge any restaurant’s katsu on the Island, IMO. There’s a bit of wait, but for the sake of freshness, I think it’s worth it. As a previous poster mentioned, the vinaigrette is good too. Will return if in the mood for katsu, although I don’t often crave that. They also have breakfast all day, pork adobo, bakery items, and stuffed mushrooms if that’s your bag. Prices top out around $ 10. If you like chicken katsu, this truck will be your first choice.

I am absolutely in love with their chili. I’ve been here twice and I’ve stuck with the same order. Next time I visit I hope to try something else on their menu. Their prices are good and their customer service is fantastic!

The food here is always fresh and the service is fantastic! My favorite is the chicken katsu but the pork adobo comes in a close second. I love that they have the hamajang plate so when I cant decide I can just get a little of everything. I think their prices are reasonable and the portions are perfect; I’m able to finish the plate so I don’t have to deal with leftovers and I’m full. Don’t forget to try the baked goods! The mini coffee muffin was the best I’ve had so far, but everything I’ve tried was pretty good.

I’ve purchased food from here twice only because it was convenient(they take credit/debit cards). Their prices are quite high for the little food they give. I’ve purchased a Chicken Katsu plate at $ 10 and Breakfast at $ 5(one scoop rice, one egg and 3 bacon strips). I can only say, if one wants to be successful in this business… portions and prices gotta be good. Unless of course the food is outstandingly great… then you can do what you like!!! I’m not saying their food isn’t good, I’m just saying it’s not worth the price. At work I’m the food runner, people will usually ask what’s for lunch, did you bring lunch and/or what trucks are there today. I can tell you Hamajang is not something they’re excited about. They should consider offering mini plates or lowering the cost of their plate lunches. ** Update 03÷03÷16 ** I’ve been here a couple of times since my review and have noticed they slashed their prices, that’s a start. I haven’t tried anything other than the breakfast though. I’ve ordered the Regular breakfast at $ 6 and the Mini at $ 4. At $ 2 more, the portion size of the regular wasn’t a big difference from the mini. If I do come back, it’ll be for the mini breakfast.

I absolutely love this food truck! The food is extremely fresh and even more delicious! The flavors work together PERFECTLY! My absolute favorite thing would have to be the vinaigrette for the salad. Omg is so Ono!!! The chicken katsu is hands down the best I’ve had on island! It’s so crisp and light, but very filling! I can talk about the food all day long, but you honestly have to try it for yourself! I’ll have everything on the menu twice if I could!
