The food at Assagio’s is consistently good and good value. We like to pick it up and take home to our confront home in Portlock where we have a quiet, quality meal with Diamond Head in the forefront of the best sunsets on the island.

Disappointed !!! We celebrate my daughter ‘s bday last week in this restaurant. For aParty of five. I prefer the regular Caesar salad. Instead of the one they prepared. For some reason, their Caesar salad was bitter, and salty. ordered a New York steak and the wait was almost an hour. The presentation was so sloppy, the vegetable that comes with it were just dumped over the steak, messy and mostly onions. The steak was too salty and super thin slice, like a kid size portion. But the the bread was really good.

Out of all the Assagios I’ve tried, Mililani had the best one! I got the sirloin steak and it was so ono! Service could’ve been better. The poor waiter kept spilling water on our table but that’s okay. Food is still yummy!

Chicken anchovy olio always my favorite — I always get it over angel hair pasta and add asparagus

Went there tonight for my birthday dinner. The service was great! Our beverages were always full. They brought us more bread(which was so good, soft inside with just the right crunch in the crust) without asking. We had the Caesar salad(which they prepare table side), osso bucco with shrimp and scallops, veal and shrimp marsala. Everything was very delicious! Oh can’t forget dessert… Chocolate mousse cake. Very chocolaty but not overly sweet. Nice conclusion to a very special dinner with my honey. Nice place to celebrate a special occasion with a casual atmosphere.

The filet mignon is perfect! The wait staff are very friendly, as well. I’d post 5 stars if the pasta was perfect, a little undercooked, as opposed to «al dente»

This is normally our favorite spot for random dates or last minute family dinners. They are always accommodating with reservations and party size and are fairly friendly when you check in. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Carbonara with angel hair. The description included onions, but I did not realize it would be as overloaded with onions as it was. I could not taste the flavor of anything BUT onions. It was so overwhelming and not to mention, I smelt like onions for the rest of the night. NOTATTRACTIVE! It seems as if the prices have gone up but the portion sizes are still hearty. We will most likely be back to this location despite my onion experience.

I went back to the restaurant for Christmas dinner and steered away from the pasta after my last experience which was a good decision. I had the Sicilian chicken, which was sooo good! It’s «Boneless Chicken Thighs, Pan Fried in Olive Oil and Garlic, with Bell Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms and a light White Wine Sauce. Served with Roasted Potatoes.» Can you say amazing! Loved it! It wasn’t too heavy and left me satisfied. I’ll definitely go back to try this one again given the opportunity. I’ll likely also get the Italian peach soda that I liked on a previous visit.

I give 2 stars for the busboys. The waiter(Mr. Pigtail) took our order and we never saw him again. We had to stop the manager twice, once to get a glass of wine, then for dessert menus. The waiter we had kept checking on his other two tables multiple times, guess we weren’t important enough. Normally we are very generous tippers, not tonight. Whoever runs the main show should do an Undercover Boss on this one.

I’ve been to the Assaggio in Ala Moana, but I recently got to visit this Mililani location to celebrate my cousins’ birthdays. We went for an early dinner at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday. It was Halloween, so we didn’t think it would be especially crowded. We were seated promptly because we had reservations, but service as a whole was lagging at this location. The staff was really friendly, but we waited a long time for our entrees and even for our check. I even had to ask for water constantly. Even though our party was large, the restaurant wasn’t exceptionally full, so I thought service would be a little better. Regardless, I was really happy with the way my entrée tasted. I remember my «Carbonara» entrée from the Assaggio in Ala Moana to be really good, so I knew what I was going to order. This entrée was just as delicious as I remembered it to be. There is a lot to choose from on the Assaggio menu, so there’s sure to be something for everyone. In fact, I think everyone in our party ordered something different. Here are some of the other entrees that we got: «Caesar Salad»: This salad can be ordered per person, and it includes Romaine lettuce, eggs, garlic, anchovies and cheese. Note: minimum two orders prepared tableside. I hardly get to see Caesar Salad prepared tableside, so that was a treat. I had some of my mom’s salad and enjoyed the garlicky taste. She felt the salad’s taste was too strong, though; I was just glad that a sufficient amount of cheese and dressing were included. «Lasagna»: This entrée comprises hearty tomato meat sauce with ricotta cheese and melted mozzarella. My dad ordered this because he loves lasagna; in fact, he usually gets this whenever we go to an Italian restaurant. This dish came with a sufficient amount of cheese, so I wouldn’t mind ordering it for myself one day. Don’t get me wrong, there was lots of tomato meat sauce but I think the amount of cheese included provided the perfect balance. «Eggplant Alla Parmigiana»: My mom loves eggplant parmesan, so she got this one from Assaggio. It featured lightly breaded pan-fried eggplant that was topped with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese, and it was served with linguine. My mom ordered this dish with«light sauce» but it sure didn’t come with light sauce! In fact, it came with LOTS of tomato sauce … almost as if she didn’t say anything! She said the eggplant itself didn’t have much taste and was rather bland, so she’s reluctant to order this particular eggplant dish again. «Carbonara»: I’ve only ordered this dish twice from Assaggio but I like it so much that it’s hard to deviate and get something else off the menu. This dish features bacon and ham pan-fried in olive oil, garlic and onions, and they’re mixed with egg and Parmesan cheese. You can choose your noodles, so I opted for angel hair(my favorite because of the noodle thickness and texture). I didn’t get any onions in my entrée, since I don’t like onions, but everything had enough flavor and taste. I love bacon and there were bacon chunks spread throughout the entire mixture, and the sauce was simply divine. «Chicken Alla Parmigiana»: My cousin ordered this entrée; she had gotten it before and really enjoyed it. This is pretty typical of Italian restaurants, but it’s one of her favorite dishes. This Chicken Parmesan includes boneless chicken breast that’s lightly breaded with melted mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. My cousin’s dish contained a hefty amount of tomato sauce, but she didn’t really mind. She said the chicken was cooked well and wasn’t too tough, and she would continue to order this dish from Assaggio. «Chicken Piccata»: If I didn’t order my beloved«Carbonara,» this is the entrée I would have ordered. It features boneless chicken breast that’s lightly breaded and pan-fried in olive oil, garlic and lemon and served with a white wine butter sauce. I’ve tried the«Chicken Piccata» at The Cheesecake Factory and readily enjoyed it because it tasted light. I loved the cream sauce paired with angel hair pasta, and the chicken breast was tender and juicy. If I ever do want to try something different from the«Carbonara,» this is what I would order next. «Fish Alla Piccata»: This entrée sounds really similar to the«Chicken Piccata,» but it differs slightly. Because I love fish, I wouldn’t mind trying this entrée one day. It includes pan-fried fresh fish in olive oil and garlic, lemon, capers and white wine and a light butter sauce. I would probably choose angel hair pasta again, and I look forward to tasting this sauce(that’s complete with capers) one day. I love the light taste of fish, so I’m sure I will be pleased with this entrée.

Assagio’s is an Italian restaurant located throughout the island of Oahu. This is a review for the Mililani location.(I have also dined at the Ala Moana Shopping Center). :) I love Italian food! I especially love really good and well prepared Italian food! The dishes here are amazing! For starters, we skipped the salad and appetizers altogether since we were famished! LOL! I ordered the New York Steak over linguine, medium rare, in a butter cream sauce! The steak was very tender, and very juicy. The linguine and the cream sauce were perfectly prepared! My BFF ordered the clam sauce over linguine! Like my dish, her dish was exceptionally prepared as well! Not only were there clams still in their shells(for presentation), but also generous bits of clams and garlic throughout her entire dish! Her dish was mouthwatering! All of the ingredients were blended beautifully! For dessert, I ordered the classic tiramisu. I love tiramisu and this one was no exception! Delicious isn’t even enough to describe my dessert! And, as a bonus, it was a very generous sized slice! My BFF ordered the Spumoni Gelato! Her gelato was very delicious too, although I am partial to my tiramisu! Teehee… ;) The Mililani location can be very noisy, as we noticed the moment we walked in! It was a full house, and there were people waiting to be seated. Luckily, I always plan ahead and made reservations, so we were seated at a quiet table, a more intimate setting, at the end of the bar! There were a few people seated at the bar, however, our seat was still quiet! We could have a conversation without the noise in the main room of the restaurant!(As a side note, if you are ever in the Ala Moana Shopping Center, this location is not as noisy, quieter and more intimate) Props to our server(I don’t remember his name), who was warm and inviting! He was super cool and provided exceptional service! Assaggio’s is located in the Town Center of Mililani on Meheula Parkway. Ample parking in the shopping center! If you are ever in Mililani and want to dine on really good Italian food, be sure to check out Assaggio’s, as well as their other locations throughout Oahu! :)

I’ve been here on a few occasions, including birthdays(two times for my own), farewell luncheons, and dinners with friends and family. My mom and I came here on Halloween in the early evening. It was not too busy when we went, and was cool to see some of the employees dressed up. There was complimentary bread with butter; it tastes fresh as if it just came from the oven! We both shared Filet Mignon and Shrimp Scampi, which is under the Chef’s Special. It comes with a choice of pasta, potato, rice or vegetable; we chose pasta and requested the filet mignon to be cooked medium-well. The steak was so delicious! So juicy and tender. The shrimp scampi was delicious as well, although it’d be nice if there were more shrimp as it was mostly pasta. We also got free chocolate mint candies upon getting the check. What a perfect and sweet way to end a meal! Customer service was friendly and prompt! Our waiter and other waitstaff consistently checked on us, refilling our water, checking to see how we were doing, if we would like more bread and if would like to order dessert(we were too full by then). All in all, good customer service, good food and lovely ambiance! It’s a good place to celebrate occasions including birthdays, farewells and anniversaries, as well as having lunch and dinner.

Ordered the broccoli chicken fettuccini Alfredo and a broccoli shrimp fettuccini Alfredo to takeout and it was really good. The little bread that they gave was fresh but too small for four people.

Had my birthday dinner last night and I had the worse service ever! I normally don’t Unilocal but I was extremely disappointed! Once we got our meals, not ONCE did our server Brent or Bret come back to see how we were doing, how the food was, if we needed anything etc. But I did notice that he did ask the other tables around us if they were okay. At least the bus boy acknowleged us! So we get our leftovers packed while our significant others were still eating and he brings out the check WITHOUT asking if we wanted more drinks or even dessert. Who does that? Then he blames it on the cashier that gave him the check! I was so irritated especially since we had mentioned that we were there for my birthday. We had to ask about it and all he said was«oh that’s right!» Really? It wasn’t a great way to spend my birthday that’s for sure. I thought twice about giving tip because of the crappy service but I know there were other people working hard besides our server. I know I won’t be going to this location again!

I am so disappointed. We came here tonight for my birthday. My previous review for Assagio’s was great; however, the service this time was just horrible. No one came to take our dessert order for a while so we decided to just get the bill and leave. Sadly, we were left waiting for the check for more than 20 minutes with our food already packed up on the table. I was so frustrated of the lack of service that I finally went up to go up an grab the bill and walked over to the bar to pay. No apologies or thank you’s or anything. It’s pretty much like they forgot we were even there. Horrible service.

Food had no flavor. Ordered carbonara and it basically was pasta with bacon and oil. That’s it. I’ve tried other assagios and they’re all the same. Only reason why I came here was for a friend’s birthday. They do accommodate for a huge party however they charge a cake fee of $ 10 if you bring your own cake. Also their check is written so workers manually calculate the check. I thought that was really weird. Hard to read the check if everything was calculated right.

Mililani Assaggio has a lot of parking, but is somewhat difficult to find if you’re not familiar with the shopping center. I ordered the small portion of alla sorrentino style with eggplant, mozzarella cheese, mushroom w/a veal cutlet($ 23.90) with the Cesar salad($ 9). Apparently if you order two, then the server will make it in front of you; but if you only order one then they make it in the kitchen. I also had a glass of wine for $ 9.00. Food wise, it was just OK. I should have ordered something else, not sure what; but definitely something cheaper. The dish wasn’t as savory as I thought it would be. Note, order garlic bread with your dish. The complementary bread, although warm and tasty, and butter doesn’t seem to satisfy the pallet during main dish. Service was very good. I’m not sure if it’s because our server knew one of the people sitting with us or not. Either way, it was pretty good considering the number of people we had. I think it we had about 10 – 12 people. Three stars. Food is decent, but not for the price.

Always always satisfied!!! I love their table side caesar salad!!! Think I could eat that everyday of my life! The bread comes freshly baked and hot. Service most of the time is fine, but not always. I love the food so much that I nothing bothers me. 50 stars!
