I love pasta and it’s hard to find decent places that serve it without charging an arm and a leg. I was stoked to find out about this place. Portions are a little on the smaller side from what I was used to at previous establishments. However, the prices are on par for an average plate lunch and the quality/taste is very good. I usually end up getting the chicken sorrentino and some cheese bread.

Italian Cuisine in Wahiawa! I’ve been to this place several times. Whenever I’m craving for pasta in the area, this is my go-to location. Dishes I’ve tried include: — Linguine Meatball: Two large like meatballs and tomato sauces tastes fresh! — Lasagna: Cheesy goodness. Same comment with the tomato sauce — Chicken Parmesan: Chicken was not too heavy. Same comment with the tomato sauce — Chicken & Vegetables and Shrimp & Vegetables: Both comes with vegetables(mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, zucchini and carrots) and choice of sauce — marinara, alfredo sauce and sautéed garlic. If I feel like eating light, I’ll go with either protein and choose the sautéed garlic — House Salad: Dressing is creamy, but light Order at the counter. If you eat at the place, they’ll serve the food to your table with disposable plates and utensils. All meals come with garlic bread, and water is complimentary from the dispenser. Also, cash only.

Still great Italian food. I had the spaghetti meat sauce & my wife had the chicken Marsala; both were great. Fancy spaghetti plate lunch style! Also got their house salad with their special house dressing & picked vegetables; like an antipasto salad.

Great price for gourmet Italian food like you would get in an expensive restaurant! Taste like high end Italian food. You really gotta try. Cash only.

Not sure we will be back. The scallop scampi was okay, but the portion was really small. Scallops didn’t seem very fresh at all. The fettuccine linguine was too strong. My kids hated it. I ate it, to eat it, but I didn’t like it. Service is counter only. The old lady was very angry looking and rude. The younger one, who was probably cooking, was friendly looking, but didn’t speak a word either.

Great little spot in wahiawa. The food is tasty and made to order. The eggplant and chicken for the parmigiana are pre breaded and deep fried, but the tomato sauce is full of chunky tomatoes and the sauce is slightly sweet. The prices are affordable and the menu is extensive. Definitely a good place to go to satisfy a pasta craving

I always get chicken piccata but decided on the salad. Love how thin and crispy the chicken is. Also the dressing is a little sweet and a little tangy. Also got a side of garlic bread. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years.

First, you must know that my favorite restaurant in Hawai’i is, Assagio’s! I always order take out at the Mililani location on my way home to the North Shore from running errands in town or when I’m going home from the Airport. I tried JP Spaghetti and wanted it to be my new fave, the food I ordered was Chicken Anchovy Olio w/Potatoes and a Side of Sautéed Broccoli. It was tasty but way too salty for me. The Potatoes were not cooked all the way though. If I go there again, I will ask JP to put a little less salt. I give it 3 stars because it was just so-so to me. Nothing spectacular. I’ll have to try his other dishes and give an update later. But like I said, this is totally in comparison to my favorite O’ahu eatery so I’m very biased! Take it with a grain of salt! Or not cause the food has more than enough!

One of the two hidden Italian gems in Wahiawa! JP Spaghetti is really tasteful, and has many menu items that cover a somewhat extensive Italian menu. They are a little pricey than you would expect, but the quality of the food is definitely high. I have heard that there was a cook/worker there that used to work for Assagio’s? Not sure if this is true, but the food is definitely close to the quality of Assagio’s. The chicken parmigiana is my favorite. It is not served with too much sauce, and has just the right amount of cheese. However, the portion is on the smaller side. It comes with garlic bread, but it really is a small meal altogether. If you want a side salad,(it’s small also) it costs about $ 3-$ 4 extra. Overall, it could be a little bit on the pricier side for what it is. Parmesan cheese(the Kraft type) is available to put on your pasta. I think it would make a huge difference if this restaurant would use fresh shredded/shaved Parmesan(Even if customer’s had to pay like $ 0.25 extra or something). This restaurant is cash only. That really makes an inconvenience to people who pay with cards now(which is like, everyone). However, I do find myself going to an ATM just to take out some money to eat this place!

It’s been a while since we’ve been here so we thought we’d give it a go since it’s close. I recall them being very curt and not very friendly. But this time, we provided with a greeting, friendly service, and a thank you. Nice change. We had the Shrimp Scampi w Linguini, Meatball and Sausage combo w linguini, Chicken Marsalla w linguini, Lasagna, and House salad. All for a grand total of $ 54. Pros — Scampi had about 8 shrimps and tasted great, chicken was soft and flavor was awesome, 1 slice of garlic bread per plate, house salad dressing is awesome. Serving size is nice and worth the price which is about $ 9 – 12 per plate. Cons — The marinara that was in the meatball sausage combo and the lasagna was really sweet. Almost like they put maple syrup in it. I don’t mind a little sugar to nip the acidity, but this was over the top and reminded me of the time I used sugar instead of salt in mine. If it weren’t for the sweetness I think the marinara would have been good. The portion was one meatball just a little larger than a goofball and half of a sausage(4″). Both tasted like it had been frozen or nuked and was a little on the chewy side. Lasagna was a smaller portion than I’d like to see, especially since they bold face it as «homemade» on the menu. That also may clue us in that others things on the menu are not? Maybe. The salad was way too skimpy on the veg and was mostly lettuce. Finally, call me crazy, but the take out plates are smaller than normal ones. It’s makes it seem like the portion is bigger, but it’s not. Ate mine with no problem. So the price of $ 8 – 12 for good Italian food may be because the portions are smaller. Seriously. Check the picture of the small plate next to the small fork. If you go, have the chicken or seafood, but be warned on the marinara. Portions are a little small too. Just right for kids and small ladies, but not for guys like me. But, in the end, you can get your quick fix of Italian for a decent price.

Great little hidden spot in Wahiawa. In the same shopping center as Longs, you can find this restaurant next to CPB. The food is delicious and was prepared quickly. Portion sizes were spot on, not too much, not too little. I ordered the seafood combo with Alfredo sauce and my mom ordered the chicken saltimbocca. The restaurant is fairly tiny, with only about 5 – 6 tables. Great for take out or dine-in! CASHONLY

Good Italian food at affordable prices! The salads come with a great homemade dressing. There are many dishes to choose from. Among my favorites are the Pork Chops and the Chicken Marsala. The pasta dishes come with linguine, but you can request for penne pasta or potatoes instead.

I’ve eaten here a handful of times. I usually order on the phone and then come and pick up. It’s always ready, Ive never had to wait. The portions are decent and for Hawaii(as compared to NY and the like) the quality is very good. I took one star away because they do not have a bathroom key and because they are cash only. This is a place I will continue to frequent and order from when I am in the area.

Although my most recent visit here was a disappointment. I’m keeping my rating the same because I do love JP Spaghetti. This is just a forewarning(I guess): I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca and an Eggplant Parmigiana about 2 weeks ago on a Friday for lunch(takeout). Both dishes were EXTREMELY salty. What came to mind after my first bite was that image of someone sprinkling salt but the cap comes off of the container and loads of salt spills onto the food. & instead of scooping the excess salt off they blended it all in). The eggplant parmigiana could not be consumed and the Saltimbocca was eaten with a full bottle of water and a Baskin-Robbins cappuccino blast to help with ingestion. It was a waste of my money on 2 very unhealthy meals and my highly anticipated Friday lunch was ruined. I called JP spaghetti to let them know about our food, I wasn’t expecting anything to compensate for the meals and I didn’t get anything for the wasted food. I did get placed on hold to speak to a man whom I assume was the manager or maybe owner, he told me that the cooks use salt by the spoonful and next time to order my pasta with less salt, if then the food is too salty to let him know. He also stated salty to me could be «not salty» to other customers. I’ve had their pasta many times before and only this time was it salty. I thought maybe I just had a bad batch, but after calling them it seems this is just standard now. personally, I prefer a dash of salt rather than a sodium attack(& I’m pretty sure that would be the general vote).

Food was decent — a little on the salty side and I normally like salty. Noodles are likely precooked but then drop it in hot water to reheat it. They don’t drain it good so it gets watered down in the paper plate they serve it in. I had the arrabiatta($ 9.5) — spicy. She did say it’s not that spicy and she is right, it wasn’t spicy at all. It had a fair amount of ham(didn’t seem like bacon?) and olives(that’s a new one to me in arrabiatta). The garlic bread was good at least but I don’t like when it sits on top and gets soggy by the watery sauce(watery because of the noodles). Cash only is another loss of star. I would say the plate was worth no more than $ 6.50 or $ 7. At that price, it would be a return trip for a plate at a decent price. Not many tables — maybe 5 or 6.

**REMINDERCASHONLY!!** A decent mom and pop shop! I read great reviews on this place, and the day I was craving for Spaghetti, I couldn’t wait to order! I came in, and the aroma of Italian spices hit my senses instantly! However, The spaghetti I ordered seemed too watery but it did just have enough flavor. It wasn’t wow’ing me as I thought it would, but it was all enough to hit the spaghetti craving! Honestly, I was expecting it to be more creamy texture than watery and worth my money since it was almost $ 10 a plate depending which kind you order. I also expected more for my order considering it was $ 8−10/plate but since I ordered to seat-in I also thought we would at least have decent plates, not paper plates, but I guess that’s no biggie it’s easier clean up I guess. Parking was not bad, and it was somewhat hard to find for me since I am not really around in this area, but it is inside a little plaza in the corner. I probably will come back again and give it another try and maybe order something else that hopefully won’t be so watery. The best part I really loved was the fresh garlic bread that comes with every order of Spaghetti! Yummmmmy! I always love Fresh garlic bread!
