I just had an excellent sausage, egg and cheese with a very good coffee to wash it down. Very pleased.

The food here is decent(sandwiches good, pastries just ok). But the service is just awful. I waited THIRTY minutes for an egg sandwich to-go that anywhere else would have taken 5. The worst part is the women working behind the counter move at turtle speed, with not a clue as to how many people are waiting in line. Not to mention the place looks like it’s falling apart. I honestly have no idea how people go to this place. The service is a total turn off.

Olympic is the best place for breakfast sandwiches and coffee in all of milford. They have a decent selection of donuts but wake up early if you want the more popular ones. The croissants are also very delicious but they also sell out early.

I moved a stone’s throw from Olympic Donut a few years ago now and this is hands down what EVERY neighborhood needs for a local, family run, good — home style cooking food spot. From a Bacon, Egg & Cheese to a Turkey Club on wheat toast — to of course the Donuts — Top Notch Place! And on any given weekend morning, the locals gather at the U-Shaped counter on stools sharing the newspaper and great stories! We Love It

Olympic Donut has undeniably stood a test of time and loyalty of locals. With its rustic charm dating back to the late 50s or 60s, the dilapidated donut shop looks a little beaten by the clock on the outside with vestiges of decades old wear in both a warming way but also in a isolating one. Near the center of town, this little ramshackled sugar shack is no stranger but has its shortcomings for sure especially when compared to other donut shops of this caliber(like West Springfield, MA’s Donut Dip). Upon both visits; one shortly afternoon and another late morning, there was not even enough donuts to fill a dozen — disappointment. Even the limited breakfast grill closes before noon which leaves this joint to stand on the heels of a solid donut shop coffee and a rickety old sign with a dubious mayflower ship atop that may have a story to tell of what once was. In a sea of Dunkin’s, its still refreshing these older family run donut shops exist in the corners of every America — but there are better. The donuts were very good though I’m always too late to try any of the make-or-break-bake standards; the glazed, the old-fashioned or a boston crème. Has about as much vintage flair of Donut Dip, more than Westport’s Coffee An’ but the quality isn’t near that of the aforementioned(especially Dip, which requires pilgrimage). Step it up a little: bake more donuts and throw some repair into this gem — it could be so much more.

Only popped in here to get a few donuts for the train ride. Seemed old school and nice enough, would like to try getting breakfast sometime. Service was a bit slow and the donut selection was okay. Donuts were decent but nothing special.
