Kung Fu Massage

My sister I went for a 20 minute massage today. 10 minutes in they started yelling at each as if they were having some domestic dispute. They continued massaging but it was hard to relax. After the 20 minutes were up they kept insisting on 10 more minutes. We decided not to tip them due to their unprofessional behavior. And they had the tenacity to ask for a tip. I would never go there I rather go to the chair kiosks in the mall. I am so disappointed because I really was looking forward to a good massage.

Okay I do really like going here because they are the best around for the buck. But, I always start with ten minutes because you sort of get a different person every time and some are excellent and not so. So I do it to test the waters and if I want to continue I will. However when you say 10 minutes they will say «Ok 20 minutes» and you have to correct them. This last time I realized to late the girl was heading into 20 minutes when I insisted on 10 and had to pay for twenty!!! Then when your time is up they some will put the stinking ringing buzzer right to your ear. For me that is a deal breaker for more time because it breaks me of my relaxed state. They will BULLY you into more time every time and ask 3 – 4 times even though you say you have to be somewhere and have over extended your time. Sad they do this otherwise I would have given them a 5. I also had to listen to the haggling with the guy next to me and could not relax. So Sad, I writing this in hope they stop this nagging practice that ruins the experience.

Just what I needed! When I moved to Milford, I left behind a wonderful place to get massages, Long Teng, on 106^th and Amsterdam in NYC. I am glad to have found Kung Fu.
While they do like to add time to one’s massage, I found that it was quite worth it. I like to be able to ask for more time if I need it and there are not many places that allow for that.
They really work out the knots and leave you feeling blissful. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, $ 1 a minute. I will be going back!

Had a horrible experience at this place. My husband and I went last weekend and figured we’d treat ourselves to a quick 20 minute massage. The staff here insisted that we stay longer. We had to repeat several times that we only wanted what we had SPECIFICALLY asked for. Following our 20 minute sessions we were convinced into adding an additional 10 minutes on to each and following that they STILL insisted, begged, and attempted to bully us into staying even longer. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had at a massage establishment. They were extremely pushy and so focused on making an extra dollar or two that all other aspects of customer service and care went out the window. From my understanding, massage is supposed to be about relaxation and self-​care. That is kind of hard to accomplish when one has to remain focused on haggling on prices, length of service and not being take advantage of. Needless to say, neither my husband nor I will be going back.
