My 5 yr old daughter had a blast! She felt like a queen for a day! She got a manicure, hair done, facial, & made 22oz sprays. The place was very clean, the girls were polite & they also had 2 parties going on. She got ice cream as well! Well managed! Had very cute things to purchase as well for you & your doll. Would 100% return for a spa day! Next time she can bring a friend!

This place deserves 10 stars! Today my friend and I took our daughters in as a surprise they are 5 and 6 the staff was very patient and professional they assisted our girls with making their own personalized body spray followed by a mani pedi and an ice cream sundae I was surprised as they had the girls laughing the entire time but I was more impressed when I ask the girl behind the counter if she had the nutritional facts for the ice cream(my daughter is a type 1 diabetic and I needed this information to give her the correct amount of insulin) this place keeps a book with the breakdown of everything from calories to carbohydrates of every food item offered not to mention they are a gluten free establishment as well !! I will definitely be back Great Job Sundae Spa.

My four year old twin daughters did have a great time, but as the parent funding the operation I did not find it worth the money. As previous reviews have said it is somewhat disappointing to walk in and see first the group of seventeen year old girls working and second the list of the prices you are about to pay these children to provide mediocre spa services to your children. My twins each got a «spray and cut» then one of them went on to eye candy application while her sister opted for the nail polish(no manicure since she has sensitive skin) with 2 designs option. The eye candy came out cute and my daughter was thrilled, while her sister picked out(from the maybe 20 colors if you’re lucky of dollar store polish) a pink sparkle color and a glitter topcoat(the topcoat which apparently revoked her option for nail designs since when I asked the girl after she was done she told me it was the glitter topcoat or the design –after she encouraged my daughter to pick the glitter of course despite my trying to dissuade her by telling her the design the girl was going to put would not look nice with the glitter). So $ 12 later my daughter had her nails painted with nail polish with no designs that had begun to chip before we even got home. I was pretty disappointed and it felt like I had been ripped off. I had to go home and paint both girls nails and put little flowers and gems on them myself, making me wish I had saved the wasted money at the«salon». Afterwards the girls ate their ice cream that looked like it had melted and refrozen perfectly smooth along the bottom of pre scooped in little Styrofoam containers. So after the tips and services my twins had fun and I was out $ 85. I will probably have to bring them back because they did have fun, I just wish they had better quality nail polish and more color options so at least you wouldn’t mind over paying as much for a so so polish job. I would also be more comfortable over paying if their staff looked a little more like that were actually licensed to provide spa services instead of a bunch of teenagers that are either going to Platt Tech or just taught to play beautician by the owner. But I guess if people will still come in and pay the prices then why should they hire real hairdressers and manicurists right?

Today I took my daughter to the sundae spa to get her hair styled. I called the day before to make the hair appointment. When we arrived, we were greeted and the girl who style her hair was very nice and attentive. She absolutely loved her hair and the entire experience which ended with an ice cream with 2 toppings. She also designed her own lip gloss. She selected the scent, color, and glitter to add and mixed the gloss. She was so excited with her hair, lip gloss and ice cream! I’m sure she will be asking me to go back soon.

This review is purely based off of walking in with my Goddaughter’s Mother to peruse the place and buy a gift card. The place is really cute, if a full on assault the the adult olé factory system. The place was clean, w ell-decorated, and carries American Girl apparel. The prices weren’t cheap… but didn’t seem unreasonable for the location and services(provided they are executed well). There was one teen in the shop working diligently behind the counter. We were served by an older gentleman and woman(I presume the co-owners/managers of the shop). I was surprised they weren’t dressed in a more uniform or less casual way… but I wasn’t completely put off. It did take a good 7 – 8 minutes just to get a gift card(when we were the only customers) because the computer was beyond slow and had to be rebooted multiple times. However, the staff were friendly and kind. And some of the products(book bags, duffles, soaps, et al.) just too darned cute to boot. Looks like a solid option for a girls’ birthday party.

Great concept and I was really excited to take my 7-year-old. Walked in to 7, yes, 7 young women at the counter who totally ignored us and sat chatting. We walked around the store where I found a brochure someone had left lying around that explained their services. It’s a rainy Saturday afternoon & you’d think the place should be packed but it’s not. I heard someone tell a family whose daughter was getting her hair cut that it was an additional $ 5 to dry the toddler’s hair. Wow. Not an inexpensive place and everyone who works there looks 17. I don’t want to disparage all teenagers but in my experience you don’t let 12 of them run your store… I didn’t see anyone that resembled an owner or manager. My daughter got her nails done and it’s just the«tech» a bottle of polish and a washcloth. We went for the $ 11 option. I pay only slightly more at my adult salon and am offered a lot more… It’s a fun, attractive space but they really have some customer service kinks to work out if they expect to stick around.

Total disappointment. Services were promised as part of a birthday party and they didn’t happen. Big bucks so be sure of what you are paying for.

I would have give 4 stars at least if the products were any good, The experience was awesome for the girls making there own bubble baths, nail polish, and lotions. Staff was great. But I gave 2 stars because of the dissappointment the kids had when they got home and the products failed. I will attempt a refund and see where that goes. Nail Polish went on translucent and no bubbles from the bubble bat… none. «Total epic fail«said my 10 year old. $ 50+ down the drain. Will not be back!
