I love this place. The vibe is very chill, but, at the same time, there’s an avenue for people who want to train seriously and compete. Everyone at the school is incredibly welcoming and you feel like a part of the family from your first day there. In the adult classes, the ages range from around 16 to mid-50s, with an average of early to mid-30s. It’s not intimidating like an MMA gym, but it’s much more practical and intensive than your kid’s Tae Kwon Do school. After most classes, students tend to hang around and just chat for 30 – 40 minutes, both to recover and to just chat because everyone likes each other so much. If you’re looking for an addictive way to get fit, this is definitely the place for you. If you’re looking to learn serious jiu-jitsu, compete and maybe even try out MMA one day, this is also the place for you(did I mention they offer kickboxing and police-style practical combat classes?). Give it a try. You won’t be sorry you did.
