This is not the place you want to stay if you have another choice. The first room we checked into reeked horribly of cigarette smoke, which for a non-smoking hotel is pretty crucial. The second room was not as bad, but not good either, not especially clean. Not super dirty, just not up to my standards. The pool was o.k. I won’t stay here again.

They have bed bugs… we found 6 in one bed and 2 in another bed. The staff were not surprised they gave me a refund and told me to have a goodnight… worse place ever!

Dirty and disgusting. Someone else hair was in the waste basket, sheets were torn and stained, and sleep was impossible due to paper thin walls, LOUD plumbing, a random train, and a profound diesel stink emanating from the business next door. My attempt at communication with management was ignored. I was charged 160. 00 for my stay in this fleabag hotel. Never again.

DONOTSTAYHERE! This Quality Inn is terrible. My mom and I were traveling across country and were told the rooms there cost a certain amount, let’s say $ 40. Sounding like a great deal we decided to stay there, but that turned out to be a terrible choice. As soon as we walked in, the extremely rude man at the desk didn’t even say hi. When I mentioned the price I had heard, he scoffed and said we would NEVER give you a room for the price, try like $ 64.95 minimum. I told him I had heard about the price, and he said ‘excuse me but I’ve worked here for two years, I think I’d know how much our rooms cost, I don’t need you to tell me’. Needless to say it was the most unprofessional and rude service I have ever had at a hotel, and that prick should be fired immediately. We stayed at the Motel 6 down the road, and it was just lovely. DON’T STAYHERE!

The walls are very thin, you can hear everything including the guests next door arguing the entire night. Despite calling the front desk to complain, they continued to argue all night. I think that we found the last hotel in the USA where you can still smoke regardless of the no smoking signs on every room door – yuck :(. We had to put towels under the connecting door between the rooms just to keep out the smell of smoke. Front desk staff is good, but the room cleaning staff is a hit or miss, no ironing board, had to ask for towels twice. Will NOT stay here again.

The problem with Quality Inns is that some are nice and some are not. This one falls into the second category. It is a two story building with no elevator to the 2nd floor. The walls were thin. I shouldn’t be able to hear someone in the next room tell his kid to brush his teeth. The bathroom was super small. And the breakfast area was disorganized and the guy running the breakfast couldn’t keep things filled fast enough(And I won’t even mention the moron who let his 5 year old kid use the waffle iron.) But the worst part was the beds and pillows were horrible. I can forgive a lot if the bed is comfortable. But this one was not. I woke up sore from tossing and turning. Never again. You can skip this place.

Disgusting. A few friends and I booked a room here because it’s not far from cedar point. Big mistake. The room had crumbs on the floor, bed smelled of urine, trash cans in the corridor were over flowing and there were bugs floating in the pool and hot tub. I checked out not even 20 minutes after checking in and they still charged me. I had to call choice hotels to get a refund! Ugh.

We checked in didn’t notice the black mildew in the bathroom until it was too late. After talking to the front desk they told us they overbooked the rooms and couldn’t move us. We asked that they take care of it. We left for the day to go to Cedar Point and when we returned we found the window to our first floor room WIDE open, left that way by housekeeping. Thank GOD we took all our valuables with us! When we asked the front desk for a manager, we were told we had to wait until 8AM to talk to the general manager. I pushed until I talked to George Ruta(apparent owner). He only offered 50% off our room. It was too late to do anything else at that time. We checked out the next morning, disgusted. I talked to the manager who not only was uninformed by 9AM, she gave us attitude to top it off when I asked her to come to the room to view the mold that wasn’t taken care of. DONOTSTAYHERE!!! God knows what disease you will pick up! The jacuzzi was a pit, with orange stains around the edge and was wicked hot. The towels they put out smelled of mildew. The staff(except Ann the night clerk) was horribly rude and no one seemed to care about the mold. The housekeeping staff is lazy, there is an inch of dust everywhere and cobwebs in the room. When I passed a room being«cleaned» I saw a maid sitting on the bed watching TV. Worst hotel ever stayed in!
