Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt

This place is like crack for my nephews. It’s the only place they want to go for frozen yogurt. They have decent flavors for kids, and some healthier/​more boring options for the adults. Tons of different candy toppings, including syrups and marshmallows, etc. It’s insane. It’s really good too. Cute, happy place that all kids adore.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but my family had a rare all day outing and this was our stop for dessert. I like this location because it is one of the few thag carry fruity pebbles, which I love to have with ny cake batter. :) Happiness in a cup. My sis and I came here every weekend.
The chairs here are cooler than most, and they usually have more of the traditional flavors. It has tons of windows and lets in a lot of natural light. Plus, it has outdoor seating! All around. Being on a corner does this place a HUGE favor. I see many families here, especially with little ones, so it CAN get a little wild.
With all that being said, I am disapppinted that they no longer accept credit cards under $ 5.00. Although I understand the costs of accepting credit cards and debit cards (trust me, being jn the financial industry and having a small family owned business), not many people have cash on them. I, for one, never carry cash except a few bucks for toll, and I am NOT about to use that for froyo. I like froyo, but on a scale with toll, toll definitely is the winner.
Sorry, but I will not be back unless absolutely necessary. It’s a durn inconvenience for me to leave my cup unattended while I have to run all the way back to my car for the cash from my family.

I love froyo and indulge in it whenever I can. This is one of the best Sweet Frog’s I’ve been to. The yogurt seemed creamier than the shop I frequent in Alexandria. I wanted seconds!!! I’ll be back tomorrow before I leave town.

Irritated that not all sweet frog punch cards are the same! Be aware while the name is sweet frog they aren’t connected. So frustrating! Other than that… I love sweet frog… it’s soo good!

AMAZEBALLS! I love the flavors and everything but it just bothers me how often the flavors change. Toppings and fro-​yo is awesome but its so cramped in there! Not that thats a big deal

Frozen yogurt bar with just about any topping that you could possibly imagine to put on it. The varieties of frozen yogurt that are offered are also quite impressive. I do not feel guilty taking the kids here to eat a snack. The flavor of the yogurt is very good also. Several flavors have no additional sugars added and/​or are fat free.
I was very impressed at how diligent the employees were at keeping the toppings bar so cleaned off. With children making their own treats you would usually expect to see the toppings bar pretty messy. Not here, there is someone constantly watching to ensure that no fingers touch the toppings and that the toppings do not get all mixed up.
I wonderful experience, the children are always asking to go. They enjoy being able to create exactly what they want to eat. I also enjoy the price, three people can have a very fulfilling snack for $ 10.

A lot of people love this place. It’s alright, I’ll probably go again because it’s pretty much the only frozen yogurt chain here in Richmond. Still doesn’t top Cali’s Yogurtland or Nuyo.

Definite treat for treats… Enjoy the combination of flavors and the cozy sitting area… 2 thumbs up!

Coming back from a yogurt loving state, ca, I can truly say that this yogurt is yummy and fresh! It could use a tad bit more tart, but it was still delicious! The topping were numerous and the customer service awesome! Definitely stop by and get a cup of your favorite yogurt!

We stopped by here after trying out Mcalister’s Deli across the way. I couldn’t find it in Unilocal,so I’m adding it. We really didn’t know what to expect when we entered. We had never heard of sweet frog before. Apparently they have several locations in the Richmond area though.
This place is super fun! You walk in and grab a bowl to put your frozen yogurt into. There is a wall that you walk down that is lined with 10 or so different flavors. (i chose cake batter flavor and vanilla). Then you get to add toppings to your frozen yogurt from a toppings bar which includes fresh fruit, candies, chopped candy bars, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, syrups, whipped cream… pretty much anything you might like to mix into ice cream.
After you finish creating your lovely piece of yogurt art, you put your bowl onto the scale, and you pay 39 cents /​ounce. We got two huge frozen yogurts topped to our hearts content for about ten bucks.
Kids would LOVE this place, and I can totally imagine someone might bring a pile of them here after a birthday party or soccer game or w/​e.
The décor here is super cute. I love the colors. it feels very … hello kitty? I’m not sure, but it’s cute.
Edit — We came back for another visit and this place just about had a line out the door. Apparently the word is out, and the word is good.
