Jersey Mike’s Subs

We absolutely love this place. We eat there regularly and the staff is extremely friendly but tonight sealed the deal. We walked in a minute before they closed because we were rushing to get there, and the staff were still great and friendly. I probably would’ve wanted to have a bad attitude and be a jerk. I got my sub «Mike’s Way» with oil and vinegar, and after putting it on, the guy making it switched out the wrapper for a new one so my sandwich wouldn’t get soggy from the wet wrapper. Now that’s just good service.

Jersey Mikes is one of my favorites, this location always has great service and line moves quickly.
Highly recommend the chesse steal in a wrap! I get the cheesesteak with mushrooms and onions.

Didn’t get to taste the food. The sandwich maker dropped my bread. She threw it away and started over, then a fly landed on the open face of my sandwich while she was getting the dressing from the fridge. I told her that a fly had been on the sand which. She asked where? And proceeded to scrape off some lettuce, apply new lettuce to about ½ of the sandwich and added the dressing. I told her I would like a new sandwich. She got frustrated, walked away and started wait on a guy that had just walked in the door. She seemed to have expected me to take the fly sandwich cause she had applied some new lettuce. How very wrong she was. $ 7.** plus tax… not me!!! Then, a guy from the kitchen came in and started to wait on the lady behind me. I was still waiting on my (fly-​less) sandwich to be re-​started. I looked at the girl, (who was now totally ignoring me, then the guy who looked perplexed as to why I was just standing there, then I turned to the customer behind me (remember: the guy is now making her sandwhich) and I said, «I’m just gonna go home and scrounge up something to eat. I don’t think I should have to spend almost $ 8.00 on a sandwich and have the server get mad ’cause I don’t want to eat it if flys have been on it. At home my food comes fly-​less.»
I promptly turned and left, I never got the sandwich and have no intention of returning because of such poor service. No one was in the store when I first arrived. There were at least 3 or 4 workers. I just wanted a cleanly prepare club sandwich. Instead, I got passed over because I expected a sandwich that had not been a landing strip for flies. Too many other places in Midlothian to eat to spend almost $ 10.00 on «flies with that club sandwich?» No thanks Jersey Mikes, I’ll pass!!! I’m use to a bug free dinning experience.

Meatball & cheese subs are supposed to be served hot, right? Not here apparently. My drive home is only ½ Mike from the place. So disappointing to get home and unwrap a barely lukewarm sub. $ 7.11 wasted.

Just got a club supreme. Mostly bread very little meat. This has happened before. Not the usual, but the inconsistency is disappointing.

Great subs. Meats aren’t sliced until u order your sub. Tuna made on site using albacore. Nice atmosphere. Bread is excellent! And best of all any sub can be made into a salad.
