I went to the store friday evening and purchased work shoes. The sales associate helped me locate a pair of shoes in the back store room. She later asked how the shoes felt. At checkout, another sales associate was pleasant and proficient. I have never been disappointed when shopping at this Sears location. keep up the good work!!!

Went there to pick up an item ordered online. When I went to pick up the item, the person in charge in the department volunteered to exchange a newer model for the same price and even called the supervisor to override the price. That I think was going out of the way, and hence I am thankful. The person who would load the car had no smile however even after tipping. One star down.

Worst experience possible. I would give zero stars if I could. Bought a washer dryer over a month and a half ago. The lazy delivery guy claims he can’t install it. Cancel the order, go back to the store, choose another unit. They«reschedule» the delivery 5 separate times after that because the unit was«out of stock». In the midst of all of this, we get a bill for the original washer and dryer as well as the new unit, both of which we never received. When calling to talk to someone about it, all we are offered is gift cards for future purchases(which we never received). Get a call today that the unit is no longer in production. Never received gift cards. Still don’t have a washer dryer. Don’t go to sears.

I have purchased the professional chrome ¼ ratchet from Sears for $ 26.99. Today i went in to my local store, Middletown NJ store# 1574, and tried to exchange my ratchet s… ince it stopped working properly. The clerk then proceeded to give me the cheap $ 12 ratchet. I then asked why he was giving me that one and not the one I brought in. He informed me that Sears policy states that the tool can only be exchanged for the refurbished one. I refused the exchange and asked to speak with the manager. After I did that, he got an attitude and informed me that the manager was on vacation, but he can call someone else(whatever that means??). So this woman, Eleanor, shows up and tells me that she will only be able to give me the cheap refurbished ratchet. Still, not satisfied, I call the Sears Customer Service(800) 549‑4505, and got to speak with Tina. She listened to me and asked me to hold while she calls the store. She spoke with Eleanor about the situation and this is what she came up with… and I quote: «Sears will NOT give you the same ratchet as you have, but will give you the lesser quality one, because it is the same size!» Are you kidding me?!? So what you just told your valuable customer is go ahead and spend money on the expensive tools, but when they break, we will give you the cheap ones in exchange. With that kind of customer service is that?! I will not buy anymore tools from you and will tell all my mechanic friends and family members about this. THANKSFORNOTHING!
