I use to like shopping here! I won’t ever again! Over heard a lady at the deli counter telling a customer about someone they must have both known! She was talking about herion and threesomes omg that’s freaking gross. Karns ur employees are the last people I want touching my food! Review ur employes. Drugs and sex while ur scooping out my cucumber salad? Thanks but u can keep it!

I had so much hope for this place. Maybe it was misguided hope, but it was hope nonetheless. I was in search of a cheaper alternative for the necessities and fresh produce to Giant in Middletown. I thought this Karns would serve that purpose. I got a mixed bag, but it was the condition of this place that really disturbed me.
Some of the prices are cheaper than Giant, depending on the sale and produce, etc… the soda was definitely NOT cheaper, 2 12 packs for $ 7, whereas Giant had it 2 for $ 5 last week. Hit or miss I suppose. But the real problem lied in the appearance and upkeep of this place. Seriously if there was ever a grocery store that needed a facelift, this is it. I thought I was back in Queens at Western Beef again. I guess if something I use is on sale, I’ll come here, but otherwise I almost rather pay the high prices at Giant in exchange for the cleanliness and upkeep. One upside here– the hot blonde cashier. Damn.
