It’ s OK there but noticed the prices are very high for trial sizes. I think 6.99 is outrageous for a trial size shampoo! Walmart is cheaper!

I always find cute/well priced items at this store. It’s definitely a little gem in newport especially if you’re looking for beachy/nautical décor.

This location is quite a bit smaller than the ones I’ve visited but in terms of content, it’s all good since I got what I came for. The parking is plentiful. I saw a lot of deals and price cuts that made the trip there well worth it.

This is usually my go-to Christmas Tree Shops and I have been to all of them in Rhode Island and several in Massachusetts. I knocked off a star because checkout is always chaotic. The deals here are worth being patient!

This is one of the smaller Christmas Tree Shops in the area, so I had to knock off a star. The checkout staff was very inefficient as well. Because of the size the selection here is a bit smaller, but I was able to find some nice items for an upcoming family party. This store is in a more touristy area and I find the items to lean more towards a coastal and beachy theme than some of the other stores. If you aren’t from the area, then it is a must stop in my opinion.

This is one of THOSE Christmas Tree shops… where everything is sold out and all the customers are madly annoying. It’s impossible to get to from the main road too, and has zero Christmas Tree Shop magic and snippy staff… boo hoo :(

This East Coast gem is a cool place! There are lots of interesting things: candy, snacks, detergent, furniture, food, travel items, and of course, Holiday items. This is just a large convenient store with everything you need. This particular location has very nice ladies working here.

I love Christmas Tree Shops! I can never walk in and not buy something. My husband dreads it when I say I am going there because he knows I’ll be spending a lot. This particular store is like any other, except it is smaller and I believe that are finishing up on some in-store construction, so maneuvering about the back is a bit tough. My only complaint is the staff. The staff there is unfriendly and they act as though they do not want to be there. I have worked retail, so I can sympathize with them that they would rather be a million other places than to be serving people, especially when some customers can be so rude, but I am nothing but friendly when I go to check out and I get no «hello’s» and sneered at. I have also read in local newspapers that old ladies in the parking lot tend to get mugged and there was even a shooting. I only go in the daylight for that reason.

For being«On the Island» it is in a great shopping center. Not the best Christmas Tree shop I’ve been in, but has a little bit of everything at a reasonable price.

Tons of selection of mostly crappy quality items. However, no one can tell if your martini glasses were .99 or $ 5 a pop. Also, I did find a copy of Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld for like $ 3.99. There are deals to be found, you just have to walk through the whole place to find them.

This place is freakin’ huge and filled with stuff you probably don’t need and only slightly want. But it’s cheap and there’s a lot of it. I consider it a staple of my memories of summers in Rhode Island. The non-perishable foods like delicious obscure cookie brands and teas; the little knick-knacks and wreathes all hold a special place in my memory. I love the Christmas Tree Shops! I mean– c’mon who doesn’t love a store with a holiday store name that serves multiple purposes? I have to make more than one stop here every time I’m in Rhode Island and I suggest you do too. ;)

This place rocks my socks off. $ 1 for blue and white decorative ceramic balls Photo frames for under $ 5 Food for pennies! This place is so cheap! And yes, some of the stuff is junk… but some of the finds are really jems and could be worth so much more in other stores. The art and mirrors are really great and large pieces go for under $ 75. They also have really cute, small furniture pieces like antique chairs or small wooden chests. Definitely check it out. Maybe a day to leave the hubby at home though. You know how we shop ladies =)

Recently stopped in here looking for a last minute gift idea for a friend’s birthday. This Christmas Tree Shop is a plethora of random household items at reasonable prices. Kitchenware, lamps, rugs, food, toys, etc. The store itself is clean and relatively maneuverable. I could wander around for hours and fill my cart up with deals upon deals. Found myself in the picture frame section of the store. I scanned through my digital camera looking for the perfect pictures to place into a frame for this birthday gift. After finding several that I was interested in printing out(at the CVS next door), I was able to locate a frame to display them perfectly. Tons of options to choose from. I picked up a long horizontal frame that I was able to mount 3 pictures in from a recent excursion in Newport. Yay! Lost a star because the pricing sticker people don’t know how to place their stickers on these items. Right onto the glass. Tried scraping the sticker off to no avail. Bummed that I was going to have to give a tacky, obviously last minute framed photo as a gift, I tried several things to get the glue off the glass. For future knowledge, alcohol wipes(the ones nurses use to clean your skin before giving a shot) take the glue off price stickers in a few swipes. Thank god I had some left over in my pocket from work. .. . Don’t you just love a bargain.. .

A good place to go if you need something, but aren’t absolutely fixed on an exact item — they’ll probably have something that will work, but maybe not the precise item. Also a good place for spices! If you can get away with not using the«brand name» spices, they have plenty here that are way cheaper than the known brands… and guess what, it’s all the same. Overall most of their stuff is disorganized and pretty cheap as well as inexpensive, but worth a look for some things(how much do you REALLY need to spend on a spatula?). Another example of DEALS — I am using a three-burner gas grill that I got there as a floor model for $ 37 marked down from $ 200. You can’t beat that!
