I highly recommend Jeff from J&S Carpentry and Construction.
We have worked with him on several major renovations (2 kitchens and 3 bathrooms for our 2 family) over the past few years.
He is reliable, reasonable, easy to work with, and most important does great high quality work.

DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR! Not if you value your time and money. I have been dealing with Jeff for over a week now on a detailed and large job. Never in my life have I dealt with someone as rude and disrespectful as Jeff. You would think a contractor, of which you are giving work to would be thankful and at the least bit accommodating to ensure all goes well with said project. Not Jeff, he does not care about you or your project, all he cares about is what is easiest for him to get the job and get paid. I had been chasing him for a week to get a quote on work to be preformed, he finally gave me a price of $ 25,000-$ 30,000. When I had asked him for a better break down to understand that pricing, he told me he didn’t have time for me or quote and that he didn’t want the job anymore. What does this sound like to me? Sounds like a scammer who knows if he reveals the true details of a quote, then it will be obvious that he is well over charging. No one deserves to be scammed like this. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!

I met with Jeff from J&S on a Wednesday. Things went well and he said he’d send me a quote. A few days past, and I heard nothing, so I sent him a follow-​up email, and no response. The next week, I again emailed. He finally called me back and said he would send me a quote within two days. That was over a month ago and I have heard nothing! I don’t care that he wasn’t interested but I find it incredibly unprofessional and rude that he led us on. If he just said he couldn’t do the job, that would have been much better!

Jeff and his crew did a great job. Honest and friendly and was very helpful. He was able to resolve a small issue very fast. We will be calling back with more renovation work. Thanks.
