Ok go here about once a quarter and only get one thing here so base my review on that… extra large cheese pizza. Good quality thin crust oily pizza. solid four stars and reasonably priced. Do takeout, never ate in. would recommend if you want the thin crust with lots of oil. Staff is always quick and courteous at counter.

We are true Italian pizza freaks and this is by far our favorite pizza. We have never eaten inside so I can only attest to a take out pizza. It is so tasty, sausage nice and mildly spicy and the sauce is to die for. There is only one tiny downside. When ordering pizza to go, even if we arrive 15 minutes early, it is ALWAYS out and sitting for a good period of time. We have gotten very smart, now order and tell them to have it ready ½ hour later than we need it so if it ready for 7 we arrive at 6:40 and it is always just coming out. My only suggestion is to have the pizza ready on time, not 20 minutes before.

They are my favorite place for pizza in the area. The place is nothing fancy and you can get pizza, soft drinks and beer, that’s it. The only thing on their menu is pizza and they do it well.

No body does it better in Waterbury. We prefer the buffalo chicken and the pepperoni. I’ve had most of the pizza in the area and this is tops. Please don’t pass it by its worth the stop.

The pizza here is usually very good but not the best in my opinion. Many seem to disagree with that for some reason. It’s hard crust style and doesn’t always have an adequate amount of sauce. I eat it often because my daughter is one of the one’s that disagrees with me. The pie is not particularly consistent, despite their highly mechanized army of teenagers that manufacture them assembly line style. If you choose to eat there, the place is clean and like a nice cafeteria, but devoid of any personality or atmosphere. Beer selection is depressing. They accept no credit cards! Profits first, customer second, or maybe third. Their hours are somewhat limited and wait times are off putting due to their uncanny popularity, I assume. Prices are about as high as you’ll find anywhere in this area. My impression is that this establishment thinks they are some sort of elite business where the customer either pays(cash) with a smile or he/she can just go stand out in the rain with their credit cards. Not a business, I want to support but tell my daughter that…

Very disappointed, the people who gave this place positive reviews have never had good pizza. I just picked up a large pizza and it’s so bland that I’m writing this review instead of eating, despite being insanely hungry. If u like this type of pizza you’re better off getting dominoes cuz you’d save a lot of money and wouldn’t sacrifice much on taste.

This is one of those experiences in life that seems a bit surreal. On the advice of where to find the best pizza places in the area, this is one of fifteen I have visited so far. On a Sunday, we noticed a lot of people coming in and out of this restaurant with their distinguish looking billowed paper bag(to keep the Pizza fresh), no box. On the advice of the waitress, we had their signature sausage with mushrooms, peppers, and onions. We could hardly wait to try it. On the very first bite, the pizza crust simply seemed to taste like a dry plain crusted whole wheat bread — nothing special. the sauce, the sausage, and the cheese were on the dry side all having little flavor. The peppers like all the extra toppings were simply chopped up into small non-visual pieces. Check out someone pictures — pictures are truthful. We found we were reaching for everything from hot pepper, grated cheese and yes salt and regular peppers to bring out the flavor. At one point, we were debating whether to ask for salad dressing. My advice to anyone is to definitely go and be tuned into making a real comparison to other pizzas you have had. As for us we think this is the power of people being like sheep. What is their not to like? You tell us. This has been a surreal experience. If I go back I will do so just to verify that what we experienced was real. In one word, the pizza was remarkably«bland». Don’t forget the salad dressing.

Great pizza just make sure to bring cash. They don’t accept credit or debit cards. Really busy on weekends so plan ahead for a wait when ordering take out.

Way too much effort and sacrifice on the part of the customer for pizza that tastes the same as Mario’s on Watertown ave… And at least there you can order something other than pizza and pay by credit card.,. But I guess d and v are laughing all the way to the bank …

I love Domenic’s and Vinnie’s, been eating their pizza since it was served out of a garage door on Wolcott St. However… In this day and age to not accept credit and debit cards is really dubious. I don’t know what they are up to here, but I suspect that there is some sort of fee-avoidance scheme that(I guess) takes precedence over their customer service. I was told that if all I had to pay with was an ATM card then I could go to the nearest ATM. The ATM is right in the plaza, but the fee is $ 3, and my bank charges me $ 2.95. So, let’s say they get to avoid paying taxes or fees(hypothetically) on all that cash that they are raking in, and my pizza gets an un-hypothetical $ 6 surcharge. I know what you are saying, they have signs all over the restaurant warning that they don’t take«cards», but at that point I am already there to pick up my pie. If they had told me the payment policy when I ordered the pizza I could have 1.) stopped at my bank to pick up $$$(no fees for me) or B.) told them to suck it. Anyways, I guess I am going to find a competitor who takes cards until these guys realize that 97% of something is more than 100% of nothing. By the way, the pizza is 5-stars. It is easily the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten.

Used to love the pizza here it was the only place we went. Then it seems like they changed sauce or something and the pizza lost its flair. Still ok just not great.

This is the best pizza in the area. Especially like the sausage and cheese pizzas. I try to pick up at least one of Domenic’s & Vinnie’s pizzas every week.

This has got to be some of the best pizza out there. I live in Torrington and I drive all the way down here to Middlebury just to get pizza. I tell you, there is nothing better than there pizza,(all of the places in my town are really sub par). Well worth the trip. Pricing is fair, and the place is always super clean! Great job!

Menu is limited; bathrooms dirty and pizza is often overcooked with hard crust. if you want good pizza in Southington go to the Fireplace downtown or Rossini’s in Chesire

Cash or personal checks only. Pizza, only. So, given that, what’s it like? Friggin’ good, that’s what. The crust is crispy, an absolute, and the cuts they make are kinda kid-friendly in that you won’t get eight triangles(or arcs) but rectangles/squares and more slices. It doesn’t really matter, you go to work on the pizza regardless. The sauce was impressively tangy. The cheese was good but didn’t stand out per se; having said that the plain cheese pie was good, the pepperoni was decent, the meatball nondescript. The hot peppers and sausage was very good, however, and the fennel aroma was just there. Limited beer selection but not overpriced: Sam Adams Seasonal by the pint is available and recommended. Standard soda, water, a one-pager wine list if you are so inclined. In conclusion, a real nice find tucked in a strip mall. Definitely worth a visit, after a trip to the ATM. –#
