Terrible service on a Tuesday night when it was completely empty. We ate in and waited at least 10 minutes just to get our waters. We ordered a cheese pizza with extra sauce because they put literally NO sauce on the pizza, it’s basically cheese bread. And guess what? Once again there was no sauce and it was swimming in grease. I do love the crust but the greasiness and no sauce is what makes this not worth it. Also we ordered fried Oreos for dessert and it was almost $ 9 for 6 Oreos. I don’t know how battering and frying 6 Oreos costs that much but it was ridiculous. Needless to say I will never be coming here again.

If you haven’t noticed, I’m a huge fan of thin crust pizza. What you get here is one of the best! Hidden on the side of a Mobil gas station, don’t expect much in the way of décor. A couple of large booths, a few tables and a high-top in the back. Movie posters on the walls, and a flat-screen TV. A few Irish-themed items here and there. A nice neighborhood place, but nothing too fancy. If you’re into ambiance, keep looking. If you’re into good food, read on. Wandering in with Bestie, the woman behind the counter, Laura, instructed us to sit where we liked. We took the high-top, and started to pour over the menu. There are only two sizes of pizza — 9″ and 14″ — the 9″ is called the«personal» pizza, but every pizza is a personal pizza if you’re determined. We settled on the«Fiona» pizza — chicken sausage and garlic. We also ordered some fried mac&cheese while we waited for the pie. Served in a red plastic basket, with a waxy paper lining, the mac&cheese bites were crunchy outside, and tasty inside. Laura provided a side of buffalo sauce for dipping, and it was a good match. When the pie came out, it was everything I hoped for. The crust was about the thickness of a Sunday advertising flyer, and had a great crunch, even after sitting on the tray for a while. My second visit was with a fellow writer. She started with Fried Mozzarella, which came out golden brown, and not too melty. A side of marinara came with it. Our pie of the day was pepperoni and Gorgonzola. Again, the thin, crisp crust and lots of flavor. The prices are a little high relative to other places in the area, but again, you get what you pay for. On my punchlist is to try the«Blarney Stone Pizza» — mashed potatoes, bacon and garlic. Not what immediately comes to mind when I think pizza, but it’s an intriguing concept. Not being a dessert person, I avoid looking at the offerings, but I must mention they make a lot of their own sweets, and sell Ferris Acres Creamery ice cream. That is very tempting for me, but I’ve held back. So far. The one thing I need to try is their delivery. The minimum amount varies depending on how far you are from them. For me, it’s about $ 40, but that’s a couple of pies, some apps, and maybe a dessert. YMMV. Without a doubt, this is one of the best pizzas in the area. While there are other places just as good, each one has something else I like. For extra-thin crust, this is now my go-to place.

We order from Blarney Stone at least once a week. The food is fresh and delicious. All the pizzas, wings, apps, sandwiches and desserts we have tried have been fantastic. They are always friendly on the phone and while delivering. It’s a huge plus that they have ice cream from the creamery, another place I visit at least once a week!

This place is awesome. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they don’t have beer! I love the pizza, and if you’re a native of the Stamford area and have had Colony grill pie(from Stamford, not the other locations) this place has a real good hot oil pie and stinger of their own. We order delivery from here all the time and it’s great to have a delivery option. We’ve eaten there too and it’s kind of small but that wasn’t an issue since it was empty in there. I ordered some pizza for the Super Bowl and my mother also commented on how awesome she thought the pizza was. They do an excellent thin pizza.

Pizza was good and this should be a 4 star review. However, the coupon that is posted on Unilocal is supposedly old and they are not honoring it anymore. So, even though I sent them a text and signed up for their notification service, I was not able to get a free small pizza as advertised. In my opinion, if this text service is still active, which it clearly is, they should honor the coupon. The easiest way not to honor the coupon would be to get rid of the service. Maybe it would take a few phone calls, but they should figure this out.

This place is awesome!!! They always have fresh ingredients, they are friendly. I have noticed it is usually quiet in the establishment but I think they do more delivery. I absolutely love the Fall Harvest pizza and the ballybunion has been a favorite for awhile. I have been here a few times and plan to return. The wait would be the only complaint as it seems to take awhile to get your order but in the end it is worth it.

stopped in here for lunch on Friday. Its pretty small inside the dining area with few tables. Soft drinks come in a can, which means no free refills, but they do offer a cup with ice if you want it. The waitress couldn’t be nicer and did a great job. The pizza I ordered was the«Patty’s Pie«which had pepperoni and Gorgonzola cheese. It was very good and came on a thin crust which I love. if I’m in the area i will definitely go again.

Went through Unilocal looking for a pizza place that delivered to Woodbury and after like 9 failed attempts y’all were the success. Not only do y’all deliver to surrounding towns, but your pizza is absolutely fantastic. You will be receiving more of my business soon. Good job!

This is the best pizza around! Dont let the location fool you like the previous review. The crust is delicious and the crisp underneath the pizza is devine. I absolutely love this place and have ordered it for lunch every week since I discovered it. People have always been pleasant on the phone(never rushed off-I HATE that!) and delivery is usually right about on time.

Was looking for a quick bite to eat on our way to Boston. stopped in this pizzeria cause of the reviews. When I walked in I turned right around. thought I was gonna get a fill up and a pizza by the same person. no signs of any pizza ovens and got a creepy feeling when I walked in. If your looking for a fill up on gas and propane along with a pizza then this is your place.

A lot of places have come and gone in this Mobil gas station on rt.64. Pizza, Chinese, sandwiches, etc. I’ve lost count. The places have been good in the past but I think the reason why they flopped is because they never did it right. Blarney Stone came out strong and because of that, they’ve lasted and made a name for themselves. The pizzas here are delicious stone pizzas, unique and offering a distinct flavor compared with the dozens of other pizza places in the surrounding area. Sometimes it’s funny to think about it, there’s so many pizza places here, just look at Blarney Stone, it opened right across the street from 8-Fifty wood fired pizza. We sure love our pizza. Each pizza place in Middlebury has its own niche it fills. 8-Fifty across the street is a more uspcale dining-in location with a crispy flavor, Pies & Pints has a nice bar with many taps, Dominic & Vinnie’s offers a thicker style, Middlebury Pizza is the no-frills sit-down casual restaurant Greek style, and Blarney Stone offers something different from the usual Italian/Greek style as they have an Irish flair to it. Blarney Stone offers 9″ and 14″ pizzas, so this isn’t the place for party pizzas. The pizzas are small and it is their unique flavor which will bring you back. The taste is unlike any of the dozens of others I’ve tried. Now that the location has been opened for a longer period of time, their commitment has been solidified as the restaurant has its own separate entrance from the gas station with its own decorated door and opening. You’d never know it was in a gas station and it’s a quant little green-colored place with a few tables inside. Their red-sauce pizzas are great but I think their white sauce ones really stand out. My favorite hands down is The Ballybunion which has argula tossed with balsamic, carmelized onions, goat cheese, and garlic. It’s absolutely delicious. The wings in this place are good but the dressed(slightly breaded) ones are REALLY heavy and sat in my stomach, go easy on them. I actually prefer the regular«naked» ones because of this. The garlic parmesan is a favorite of mine and they are some of the best wings next to Martino’s/Ordinary Joe’s in Oakville. Blarney Stone also offers delicious ice cream and some sweet desserts. Their ice cream is fresh and local from Ferris Acres Creamery in Newtown. The Bada Bing is a classic with almonds, chocolate chunks and Bing cherries, the Salty Cow is one that surprised me as it has chocolate covered pretzels and offers a unique flavor. My favorite is the Cowtrax that has vanilla ice cream with caramel, peanut butters, and chocolate chips. This place is also the only pizza place in Middlebury that delivers so that is definitely a plus for convenience factor. Don’t forget to tip your drivers well! While I always lament about the number of pizza places in the area, it’s hardly a complaint because they’re all so good and it’s nice to have a strong new addition that offers its own unique taste to stand out.

I was told 20 minutes to pick up my pizza. I show up in 20 minutes. One person in the restaurant when I show up and one customer waiting for a carry out. And it takes 28 extra minutes for my carry out pizza to be done. I guess it happens. The pizza was alright. The people were very pleasant.

I went here today with my pregnant wife and 3 year old son, we all loved the pizza. We got a free small cheese pizza by texting coupon to 51660, we also got a large pizza with pineapple which the pregnant wife thoroughly enjoyed. The pizza was very good and the crust was great and all for a great price. The owner and waitress were very friendly, all in all great experience we will definitely be back. I can’t wait to try the wings.

Ordered towards the end of the night so maybe that’s why our experience was mediocre, but here we go with a review… Fries, extremely soggy, ketchup packet was openand melted in container. Double fried naked buffalo wings were pretty tasty, but also a little soggy for my liking, could have been crispier. Pizza was definitely their strong point, crust was super thin and crispy, we ordered the Blarney Stone(mashed potatoes) could have used some cheddar, maybe some chives and a side of sour cream.

Blarney Stone has some of the most awesome pizza and sandwiches around. Servers are the most friendly and helpful in town. It’s always a great pleasure to have lunch or order food(they deliver too!). Bob, Agnes and Harold

Delicious if you love ultra thin crust! Toppings are creative and taste homemade(I didn’t ask if they were). They also have house made hot oil topping which is hard to find. The wings were wonderful too(buffalo and sweet/tangy) but our focus was on the pizza. It’s hidden away but worth looking for!

I live in Middlebury and have always loved the pizza shops we have in town. The biggest issue is that most times I dont want to go get it and they dont deliver. I was excited Blarneys delivers so I wanted to try them. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Margherita pizza with mushrooms which was really good. Thin crust which was nice and crispy. I also got the arugula salad. The arugula was fresh and crisp, cant ask for more with a salad. My dad wanted fries so we also got a small side of them. They were good fries. All in all I will be ordering from here again and try something else.
