My pedicure experience here has always been positive. The atmosphere is relaxed… At times a bit slow. Unfortunately, I received the worst gel manicure at this salon a few weeks ago. My nails chipped within ONE day. After 5 my nails looked terrible. I ended up filing them off myself. Very disappointing.

I really don’t like to give bad reviews like this but someone has to. .I was a loyal customer for years and I even uploaded pictures of their work and gave them a high review a few years ago. I also introduced my mom and a few friends who stayed true to this nail salon as well! I wish I could give NOSTARSATALL. .with that out of the way here is why I’m so upset, within the past 2 years I had noticed that Laura the owner has been up charging me and my mother, no real gratitude as other places would have to honor us as long time customers at all! As a matter of fact, she charged my mother an extra $ 1 for asking to get quick dry nail polish which was absurd since we tip her VERYWELLANDHAVEBEENCOMINGTHEREFORYEAR. those were the small little things that would bother me. .and within the past two years or so I noticed she began to hire illegal workers with no license to work as nail technicians and I was told that she had been fined several times and had not changed anything! This past year with her raising the prices substantially business was looking very slow and on Saturdays she had no clients, I began to hear her speaking to her employees with real disrespect. .was very uncomfortable I must add. The woman who was nails began telling me of the horror stories when customers weren’t around, for example. .telling the girls to tell their customers not to BRINGCHILDRENTOHERSALON. can you believe this crap!?? She would tell then if your customers child comes in and breaks anything its coming out of you pay and tip. she would tell them and say if you don’t tell them not to bring their kids in to my salon and they continue to come in with their kids I will take your tips from you. .since the girls she hires can’t work legally and are afraid to lose their jobs they try to listen and do as she asks. .she makes racial remarks about what nationality tips the best and that Polish people don’t tip well at all. .the owner is a dictator and fears no one, has no respect for her employees let alone her customers, she charges TAXONALLOFHERSEVICES. WHATNAILSALONCHARGESTAX??? Anyway, most of the nail technicians with a licence have left because she’s a slave driver and is exreamly nasty. .hopefully this review will help and being awareness to what’s really going on in this salon. .keep your eyes open and look at the receipt you get and see what she charges because she will change you more than she had orginally told you and will charge you tax.crazy. .I can’t type anymore because it’s frustrating knowing she mistreats those poor girls and gets away with it!

This salon is nice and clean. The space is large and I don’t feel like I have to fight or rub my crotch unwillingly against another patron to get my nails dry etc. They have literally 500 colors or more. Which I can’t see anyone using up within the year, since many woman around here want the Kardashian pale pink or the porn video french manicure.(Yes, this is what we have resulted to). I like to live on the edge and go nuts with my colors, and why not? It’s just a nail color, not a tattoo. The ladies here are very accommodating and are willing to fulfil your requests or needs.

This place is great. I am very picky about where I go for waxing and I’m super loyal to Laura! She’s amazing, plus the prices are reasonable. I also like doing my nails here, and the occasional massage is always nice!

I usually don’t write reviews for nail salons but this needs one. I tend to get my nails done in the city during my lunch hour but I went in here on Monday because I was off and near my house. I got a gel manicure that there price list says 20 $…somehow it turned into 26 $ on the receipt. I’m sorry but did she just really charge me 6 more dollars for removing my polish that wasn’t even gel polish? I didn’t make a scene about it because I peeve the girls who do in nail salons so I just paid it. P. S. She did a craptastic job on my gel manicure(see photo named«Craptastic gel manicure»). And she overcut my cuticles so much it looks disgusting. In addition, DONOT get a chair massage. Long story short, since when do public chair massages involve lifting up the back of your shirt up to your shoulders and ATTEMPTINGTOUNCLASPYOURBRA? I stopped her right then and there. Everytime I see chair massage I see it with people’s shirts nicely on them with no touching of bras. No way was I about to let that happen. I paid for the overpriced gel manicure, under tipped a little and got the heck outa there.

I went here bc I received a gift certificate. I opted for a gel manicure and a pedi. The place was nice, staff friendly. The girl who did my pedicure did a great job, however the gel manicure already started to lift. I was only there 7 hours ago. Not sure if its the manicurist’s fault or if the nail stuff is old.

I used to go here regularly for french pedicures, but today will be my last visit. instead of telling me to come back in half an hour or whenever, they crammed me in knowing they had appointments arriving in a few moments. when the appointments arrived, the owner started running around and yelling. she tried to get the customer next to me to move out of her pedicure chair, but the poor lady didn’t move and i don’t blame her. her pedicure hadn’t been done yet — where was she planning on putting her? then the owner started berating my pedicurist and the girl doing my pedicure just sped up, right at the moment she was using a pumice stone on me. she pressed so hard and fast smoke was practically rising. i kept saying ouch and pulling my foot away, but she kept grabbing and pressing harder, oblivious to my pain, probably because she was on her cell phone the whole time, not paying attention to her customer. she also cut my cuticles a few times, also while on her cell phone. i am now home and the bottoms of my feet feel like they are on fire. i only hope i can walk tomorrow. even more disturbing, i didn’t see any cleaning going on between clients. they didn’t even spray the footbaths between people. this place used to be great. what on earth happened?
