I originally started Weight Watchers in 2008, lost 20 lbs and kept it off for 4 years. The pounds slowly started creeping back up until I was almost back at my original weight. I thought I could lose the weight on my own without paying. I had done this before so I thought that I could do it again by myself. WRONG! There is something about weighing in weekly that makes you motivated to lose the weight and not eat that slice of cake. I finally gave in and went back in Feb. 2013. I paid for 10 weeks and started going weekly again. I lost the weight in 7 weeks. Weight Watchers is great and I hope to never put the weight back on again!
