Great employees at a new location that is at least 2 years old and best t.j.maxx and home goods store

this is one of the newest ones in the area. conveniently located just west of Dadeland Mall on Kendall Drive. this location also has HomeGoods integrated. it’s usually clean and almost always has a great selection of everything from goodies for the kitchen to unique furniture pieces and accents to furnish ur humble abode and from designer clothes to shoes to match all at very reasonable prices.
the only two things I need to gripe about is the organization of the clothing racks is not as good as the Falls location, of which does not have HomeGoods but the organizational system is much better. the other thing are the register lines/​wait sometimes gets quite ridiculous given the ratio of number of registers available vs manned registers vs the number of people waiting to check out and pay! found myself a couple of times wanting to pay for a couple of things but had to leave them behind bec of the long lines!

I didnt even know they had put a tj maxx in the old circuit city location until my sister took me this weekend! The store was huge and very neat and organized compared to other tj maxx locations ive been to. They have really nice things for your home/​apartment as well with great prices. If you have the time, definitely come and look since this is the kind of place you need to have patience for!

This TJ Maxx Homegoods opened up in the old Circuit City location.
My first visit to this store was short. I came in for a quick return. The girls at the register were really nice about letting me return a gift my daughter had received without a receipt. I was issued a store credit and left feeling like I could come back and have a decent shopping experience.
Well, I didn’t.
When I came back a couple of weeks later the store looked like it had been hit by a tornado. The kids department was a huge, unorganized mess, and the selection was pretty meek. Not a single name brand item (isn’t that what they advertise?). I walked around the rest of the store and felt like I was at a garage sale in a bad neighborhood.
I’ll have to use my credit at a different location, because there is no way I’m going back to this store.
