The staff is very attentive with everything! Very good service! Great atmosphere! On Fridays they have live music and that’s awesome! I recommend to everyone this great place! just go there from 5 pm with your friends for Happy Hour, and you will have your favorite cocktails for a very good price!

Love that this place has a vegetarian menu section. I recommend the Panang & Curry vegetables, delicious, very spicy so you may order white rice also. Food was incredible, service was amazing. Definitely coming back soon.

I chose this restaurant as the place to celebrate my friend’s birthday based off of Unilocal reviews, and Unilocal once again came through! The Gang Miami is a fun restaurant and hip hang out spot in Miami. There are interesting decorations inside, cork-topped bar stools, a free to play Pac Man arcade machine, and art installations outside. They accept reservations by phone, or even easier, online through . The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Great service! It’s very dark inside the restaurant, so if you have trouble seeing, use your phone for light(no joke). It was very dark at dinner time. They have different kinds of unique chairs to sit in. Unfortunately I was sitting in a skirt on a chair made of wires while the rest of my table mates had smooth plastic chairs. Don’t be afraid to change seats. My chair was horribly uncomfortable. There are dedicated food and drink menus. There is also a special set dinner menu for $ 35: you choose full size portions of an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. I assume this set menu changes because it is printed on a special little stand, but it’s a nice deal for a full meal. I decided to get the set menu and ordered: — Green Tea Crab Rangoon: Thai style appetizer with wantons stuffed with crab — meat, cream cheese, green tea and sweet chili sauce on the side. I didn’t taste anything green tea about it, but the rangoon were DELICIOUS! Sweet, crispy, and generously full of cheese. — Malaysian Lamb Chops: Malaysian style dish served whit roasted lamb chops(marinated for 2 — 3 days) with mashed potatoes truffles, broccoli and asparagus. The dish was so fragrant, I loved every bite. The lamb is cooked delicately and easy to eat. — Key Lime Pie: straightforward dessert. Very tasty, big slice, and I loved the crust. I had a taste of Linda L.‘s food, and I can say that her dishes were just as delicious! The Champagne Puff is amazing. The dessert Black Rice Pudding is also a great way to end your meal because it’s both hot and cold. They do charge $ 1 for water, which is fine because they gotta pay bills too. But it was arbitrary on our bills(I wasn’t charged, but others at the table were). A side of Basmati Rice cost $ 5 for about half a cup serving, which I thought was pricey in terms of sides. So some micro-pricing, but honestly, the restaurant is fairly priced overall and serves very good food. Our server gave us a round of shots to celebrate my friend’s birthday too. Awesome restaurant, I really want to go back again.

I typically make it a rule to dine and experience a restaurant at least twice before writing a review. However, since I will not be returning and my experience was so contrary to most others, I am compelled to write this review after one visit. For those of you that dread reading lengthy reviews, in summary, on this particular evening, the food here ranged from sub par to very average with a piece of long brown hair in my main course. Also, there was such a disconnect with the service on so many levels it’s difficult to rate it. However, it is not the sole reason for this 2 star review… Lastly, the atmosphere was nice, upscale(not over the top stuffy) and trendy. The following is my more in depth review: I called The Gang and asked if I needed a reservation if I was arriving within the next hour(6:30−7:30PM). The man on the phone advised me I did not need one. I arrived(my GF and I) there by 7 and was immediately asked by two different employees if we had reservations. It took approx. 5 minutes for both of them to figure out and discuss where to seat us. With the restaurant being 75% empty, the hostess/waitress wanted to seat us sandwiched in between 2 of the only 4 tables that already had guests. I asked if we could sit at any other 2 top and she quickly responded with a «no.» Please remember, at least 75% of the restaurant was empty. I stated again my wish to be seated somewhere else and we waited for another 5 minutes until they finished consulting with the manager to see if we could be seated elsewhere. We were not feeling very welcomed by this point. However, the manager gave his«ok» and we were sat at a more suitable location. The waiter was very friendly but hard to understand and I was unsure from what region of the world he was from(not Spanish). Nonetheless, we were happy to be finally seated and looking forward to our dining experience. Immediately, we were poured water from a capped bottle without being asked. I take offense to having someone spend my money without even asking… To boot, the bottle was removed during our meal with at least one third of it still left and replaced with another one. And yes, I was charged for both bottles! Albeit, it was a paltry $ 2.00 per bottle charge but the act of not even asking or informing before pouring and spending my money is offensive. I ordered one of the two specials of the evening which came with an order of Vietnamese Pork rolls(made with spring vegetables). The main course was Asian chicken with homemade egg noodle main dish followed by cheesecake for $ 35. My GF ordered the Hangover Soup(TOMYUM) and the Thai Beef Salad as her appetizer. Well, I received the Spring Rolls instead of the Pork Rolls and when I flagged the waiter to point this out, he looked at me and told me that’s what I ordered. Are you kidding me??? Why would I order Spring Rolls when the menu clearly stated that Pork Rolls were the appetizer that came with my meal? Too many other options available to ever even contemplate returning to an establishment that needs to go back to basics and learn the guest experience, from beginning to end, is paramount.

Cork high tops for seats and washing machines for countertops? I’m in! This place is so unique from food to décor. The Gang is on a corner in midtown Miami. Walking in, you’ll feel like you’re entering an underground lounge. The service is great, very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The plates and cups are very cool, not your typical clear glass and white plates. The water is presented in clean bottles but note, they do charge $ 1 person for water. Our table ordered quite a few different things. I had amazingly delicious food including: Foie Gras with Creamy Polenta– perfectly fried foie gras oozing it’s flavors into the polenta below. The presentation is beautiful. Comes in an open top Mason jar on a wooden square plate. It’s not overwhelming and the taste meshes so well together. Champagne Puff — again it is beautifully presented with a fluffy twisted puff pastry on top with a bed of rich creamy sauce underneath. It’s made with spinach, cherry tomatoes, and parmesean and all complimented by the refreshing taste of champagne. Palak Paneer — note this entrée does not come with rice. There is a $ 5 side option. It is a tiny bit spicy but the thick creamy spinach sauce is very good and the cubes of cheese are well cooked. Black Rice Pudding — presented in a martini glass with a dollop of whipped cream, a strawberry and a mint leave, this bouncy semi-sweet warm rice pudding desert is the perfect end to a great meal. The thick consistency mixed with the melted cream makes heaven on a spoon. Overall a great restaurant for a date, girls night out, group get together, anything! We were there to celebrate a birthday and our server was sweet enough to bring us a free round of shots to celebrate.

Went for dinner this weekend and we were greeted and seated right away by the staff! The jalisco cocktail was delicious I could have had 4 or more! We started with shrimp dumplings and and chicken rolls both big portions and done to perfection! I had the hunan chicken and my partner the pork chop. My chicken was excellent and not over spiced in fact I could have had more spice. The cheesecake was also fantastic Staff was very attentive and gracious will Def be coming back and looking foward to stopping in for happy hour!

Walked around. Other restaurants packed. Just wanted a drink. This lil gem in the hart of Midtown. Was escorted towards back bar. Its late not there for food. The back bar is connected to the open kitchen. Alcohol has its very own menu. The bar has welcoming stools. The table tops are on top of newly installed washing mashings. Not running or used but cool. Both the Ambiance and drinks were awesome. Recommend and can’t wait to be back to taste the food

I really liked the atmosphere and quirky décor. They offer great drinks although not cheap. I would describe the food as Thai with a twist and the dishes were well presented. I went on a Friday around 8:00 pm and they had live music, which was nice. Good option for a date night.

I ordered from eat24 the food was terrible, I called the restaurant they didn’t answer and when they finally did, they said YES. That’s how they answer the phone. Then the dumb ass owner asks me if I’m sure my order is wrong. Really you moron? He didn’t even apologize and said he will have eat24 return my money. I taste their rice and it’s off I called eat24 and they said the owner doesn’t want to do anything about it. DONTORDEROREATFROMTHESEASSHOLES. At least if your food was as good as your attitude/service is terrible

I think this place has tons of potential. Considering it is right across the street from Gigi, I think there are some things it has to do to keep up. We went on a late Saturday night and it was pretty empty and still the service took a little longer than it should have. I didn’t think the food was anything to write home to mom about. I had a Thai Beef Salad and Balan’s has a better one. My boyfriend had the grilled pork chop and they gave him more rice than anything else. The Vietnamese pork rolls were delicious. What I did like was the cocktail menu, the décor is adorable and so full of details you never run out of things to look at. I do think the staff was a bit too playful with each other, maybe because it was late and nobody was there. Also, the DJ … I think they should maybe change up the music. It was definitely dated and made the place seem a bit cheesy. I’d come back, especially if we can’t get a seat at Gigi’s.

The Gang Miami is conveniently located in the heart of Midtown Miami. There is not much going on on the outside so you might miss it if you aren’t paying attention. However, there is a much more thrilling story to tell inside the venue. Across from Gigi’s restaurant, you will find The Gang beautifully adorned with Spanish-style grungy furnishings. As soon as you walk in you will find yourself immersed in ambience of tranquility in the dim-lighted venue. From the hostess all the way to the chef you will be delighted to meet their incredible staff. Pricing will range between $ 20-$ 35 for main dishes and $ 8-$ 15 for the appetizers. Be prepared to be amazed at the quality and creativity of their dishes as soon as the fork meets your taste buds. They offer a wide variety of Asian fusion food with a little Thai mixup. They usually have a DJ set up to control the upbeat sound of electronic music. This is definitely a wonderful place to take out your significant other for a romantic evening.

Last Friday was my first time here. As new Miamians, we’ve been trying restaurants to find our new favorites and I can truly say The Gang Miami will be placed in heavy rotation. I could dig the design a lot. The space has a cool industrial, cozy vibe – not what usually comes to mind when thinking about Asian fusion. It’s also pretty big inside and wasn’t overly loud. Great for a date night. Now let’s get down to the good stufff– THEFOOD! We started with the pork rolls, which were delicious and full of pork. The sauce was great with lots of flavor too. I ordered the 3 flavors tempura fish and it was divine. Sweet, spicy and fresh. I couldn’t stop eating it until I tried… The Indian gravy with fish that my husband ordered. The gravy was perfectly balanced – not overly strong and spicy… totally delicious! Thinking about this makes me hungry. SOGOOD! Customer service here was phenomenal! From the hostess, to our servers, and the manager(who even stopped by to chat and check how we liked the food). After living in the DC area for ages, where great customer service is rare to non-existent, it’s great to see excellent customer service still exists. Overall, yes, we LOVED it and DEFINITELY we will be back!

Wanted to meet a friend halfway in between our houses so we picked the midtown/wynwood area. We came across this place and the menu looked appetizing so we decided to try it out. We walked in and the wait was over an hour for a table but we decided to stick with it. There wasn’t a waiting area inside and only a bench outside so we decided to walk around and come back in about an hour. Once we were seated we ordered immediately. The food was quite pricey but they had a deal for one appetizer, one entrée, and a dessert so we split that. The food and the presentation was phenomenal. We had the wontons for an appetizer. We had a chicken wok noodle dish for the entrée. The best part about it was the homemade egg noodles. The dessert was good as well we got the chocolate cake. The problem started once we wanted to leave. It took forever to flag down our waiter to get the check and once we did it took even longer for him to come and charge our credit card. It got to be so long we started to look to see if we had enough cash to just put on the table and leave. The food was superb but not the service by any means.

I cannot rave enough about how amazing The Gang Miami is! Today I attended a private Toyota event and I’m so happy I did because I got the opportunity to try some delicious food. First off, everything about this spot, from the décor to the lighting to the staff are just SPOTON. Never have I ever been to a restaurant(especially one in Wynwood) where the staff is so attentive… The men who made my drinks(so sad I didn’t catch their names) really listened to what I like and they did an excellent job at making some special drinks for me… One of the drinks I had was the Lychee Martini… TODIEFOR. So refreshing and perfect. As far as the food, my taste buds experienced flavors they had never been exposed to before lol. For the appetizer I chose the chicken dumplings; these dumplings were cooked to perfection and they were so soft and yummy. One of my friends got the green tea crab ragoons and holy crap I wanted to eat all of them– best crab ragoons I’ve ever had. For my entrée I chose the Thai Wok Chicken– perfectly cooked egg noodles, chicken, and very fresh veggies. Simple and delicious. One of my friends tried the indian gravy(with fish) and I almost fell out of my chair… FULLOFFLAVOR and I wish I would’ve ordered it myself… Totally recommend!!! The dessert deserves its own paragraph, people. Because we were a large group I managed to try a little of several desserts. I got the black rice pudding, this is enough of a reason to try this spot out– it’s served warm and is unlike anything I’ve ever tried before… Don’t hesitate going just to try this. The cheesecake was light and delicious, also. Honestly… I can’t think of one bad thing to say. Can’t wait to go again.

On the edge of Wynwood and the edge of the Miami Design District the Gang is a special place. Not only was the food amazing but the service was impeccable. This is the type of restaurant where the staff from the waiter to the owner make you feel like the most important guest in the place. I started off with a cocktail called the Monarch. It was delicious. The table ordered a variety of apps– from the dumplings to the spring rolls all were delicious. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and I can honestly say it was the best salmon I have ever tasted. We then had dessert, key lime pie and cheesecake. So yummy! The presentation stunning. What I want Unilocal readers to know and why I gave it five stars is because the Gang at the Gang wanted me and my guests to have a great evening and cared so much about our dining experience. I thank them for that!

4.5 stars ! Came here with whole bunch of friends about a month ago and totally forgot to review this place. It is so cool and inviting. The staff makes you welcome like it’s their home. Was very impressed with the service we received. Everyone in our party(8 of us) liked every dish we tried. Some unusual dishes on the menu and we loved them all some vegetarian, some with meat and the seafood was very fresh. Great appetizers to share. Presentation was superb, check out the pictures. The desert was good but not fantastic, that’s the only half a star I’m taking of. Maybe will try a different desert next time. Great dinner overall.
