Texas Roadhouse

So let me start off by saying that I love the fact that you have the option of going up and actually picking out your own steak. With that being said, I have to move onto and explain the three stars.
Coming in we were immediately greeted and explained the option of your meat selection, which I thought was awesome. I went with the 12 oz rib eye (delicious). After that, we were seated. We had to wait what seemed like 10 minutes for the server to come and greets us. She brought us fresh made bread with this delicious honey butter. We proceeded to place our order, of which we ordered an appetizer of snake bites and selected the temperature for our meat, selected the two sides that come with it and placed our drink order for 2 gigantic beers. For sides, I went with the mash potatoes with bacon and cheese (of course cheese) and the mixed veggies.
Now here is where it starts to get frustrating, because we got our beers, but then just sat and waited and waited. Now the steak I can understand takes time, but we never got our appetizer, so that was rather a disappointment.
When the meal finally came out, I was rather impressed. My rib eye was perfectly cooked and seasoned and just flat out amazing (the saving grace of the evening). The mash potatoes were average. I have a feeling if I would have gone with cheese, bacon, AND gravy it would have been a hit.
While eating our meal, we proceeded to request another round of beers, which did not arrive till we were ready to leave and at that point, we simply didn’t want them anymore.
So basically, what it boils down to is that the food is delicious, but the service was a disappointment. I would go back, but unfortunately I would not want the server we had. I will give it another shot in hopes of redemption.

When I first heard about this place, it made me drool a bit. Everything made fresh??? That’s a rare thing nowadays. Upon arrival, the greeting was awesome, got a brief over view on how the restaurant worked and we promptly escorted to where we were able to pick out our own cut of steak. By this time I am already sold on the place, who wouldn’t love to pick out their own steak! We were escorted to our table and we sat and were just in aw with the place, but the first strike was when it took a little over 5 minutes to be greeted by our server. Her name was Betsy, sweet women. Explained the menu in detail and proceeded to take our drink order. Drinks arrived promptly and I was starting to feel that maybe I was jumping to conclusions already and should just give her a chance. She takes our appetizer order along with our entrée order and walks off and my friend and I start to chat. She comes back with some fresh bread and fresh made butter. Again, my excitement is peaking as the food experience has been good so far. Betsy doesn’t come by for a good 20 minutes or so, and when she does, she says that our food order will be out soon. Strike two, at this point, I know she has forgotten our appetizer and thinks we didn’t notice. She takes off once again, and about 10 minutes later, the food arrives. No app, but I was distracted by the fact that our meals were perfect! The length of time for two medium rare steaks was no where near acceptable, but the food was cooked beautifully and I couldn’t wait to taste it and when I did, it did not disappoint. Towards the middle of our meal, we order another round of beers and she complies and goes off… and then strike three… We finish our meals and are practically ready to go and hoping that maybe she forgot this as well. I just wanted the check at this point, but she then comes around after about 15 minutes with our beers and says «I am so sorry, the bar was backed up». She then drops the check, doesn’t mention forgetting the appetizer and proceeds to check on the table 3 different times in a manner of 5 minutes. Now she wants to be around because we were paying? Needless to say, the service was very disappointing. The restaurant wasn’t even any where near full. I give this experience 3 stars only because the food was truly amazing, and would recommend it solely on the food experience. Service on the other hand, Betsy fell flat on any type of restaurant standard. It was very disappointing considering I have been in the business for over 10 years. I will be returning and giving the service another chance because I enjoyed the food so much, but Betsy will not be my server.

Great place to have a loud and delicious dinner ! Loud adds to the fun and the service really was great, our waitress was Alexandra she was awesome. The kids had a great time and the Birthday Boy loved sitting in the saddle and his Rib Eye. Everything was yummy

I first discovered the Texas Roadhouse in Muncie Indiana over 10 years ago. This is a chain restaurant and like all chain restaurants they all look alike on the inside but they do decorate the interior with images from the local area. In Muncie IN, home of Ball State U they have an image of David Letterman playing poker with dogs on the back wall. At the Texas Roadhouse in Middletown NY they have images of NY Yankee and Mets players. This also held true for this one in the Miami area. When you walk in you feel like you’ve been there before.
They get busy on the weekends and there is usually a wait. They have barrels of shell peanuts in the waiting area for you to munch on while waiting. If you did not get your share of peanuts while waiting no worries there are more on every table. Peanut shells, just throw em on the floor. On our recent visits while in Florida we decided to sit at the bar to eat as it was faster than waiting for a table.
Our beertender was a lovely young woman who gave us prompt attention and brought our drinks while we looked at the menu. I never have to look at the menu since I having been going there for so long. I am not a steak eater, and they do have chicken and pork chops on their menu. My favorite is their pork chop, served with a baked potato and a salad. For ten bucks you can’t go wrong. My wife ordered a NY strip steak also with a baked sweet potato and salad. She told me it was perfectly cooked.
A week later my wife and I went back again and again we sat at the bar to avoid the wait for a table. Our beertender from our first visit recognized us and gave us a warm welcome. I ordered my beer and my second favorite thing to eat at the Roadhouse, a hamburger with steak fries. They do make a tasty burger. My wife tried the pork chop this time.
I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal at any of the Texas Roadhouse restaurants that I have eaten in. Maybe one day I’ll try a steak.
If you need an inexpensive place to eat beef give any of the Texas Roadhouses a try. I think you’ll enjoy the experience.

My Daughter loved the Birthday Celebration!!! Truly enjoyed the spot and music!!! Tasty food and the bread is hands down one of the best… Yeeehaw!!! I enjoyed the ceasar salad and duque sized beer… keep it up!

Food is super cheap and pretty good. Not wow, but good, quick, and fairly priced.
Fun for birthdays, they make the birthday person ride a saddle while everyone around their table sings happy birthday.

Called earlier to see if you guys were hiring servers/​hostess because i was interested in the job whoever the hostess was that answered the phone put me on hold for 15 minutes and proceeded to tell me that you guys weren’t hiring, but i could apply online and someone might get fired within the next 3 weeks and you’ll call.
later on in the day i apply for a website called, indeed jobs the first post i see is texas roadhouse on flagler is hiring hostess/​and servers.
i guess you really need new hostess if they aren’t even bothering to give out the right information when people call.

I arrived and gave the hostess my number 745B I was seated at a booth as I requested within 20 mins. The server Aliana was awesome even with her baby coming soon in March she shave us a huge smile and took our orders. The bread is baked at the restaurant and it’s to die for. Our food arrived we ate and of course the plate was clean. I wanted to take a hoot of my food but I ate itI would recommend Texas Road House to all. Come enjoy have a great time, Great Food!!!

The place is awesome from drinks to food everything was super good. And the place reminds me of roadhouse. I recommend it to everyone

Wow… Me and my husband have come here twice and we love it AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING FUN STAFF. The first time our waitress was Karina and this time was Alany and let me tell you every time we come is the same great service. No matter what we order is always on point. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

My first visit was a bit off, our waiter was brand new so a couple things went wrong but the manager was quick to fix the experience. I’ve been back twice since then and both times have been awesome. The steaks are delicious and the service is always really quick and fun. They dance every now and then and it’s a very family friendly environment. We love coming here for a weekend lunch! You can’t beat the prices and the food is really good quality.

Great food, nice serving sizes and fun environment! Make reservations because on a Friday or Saturday the wait can be over 40 minutes! Highly recommend!

We used to go to Texas Roadhouse all the time in Texas and are super excited they opened one here in Miami! Everything in this place is amazing. Especially the service. Only downfall is that they are always so busy and at times their wait is a little long.

This is a fun place to eat, something different with lot of energy.
Our server was super nice, «Gabe» and took care of 6 of us in a professional manner.
My only complaint is a Steakhouse with only 3 options of red wine… And all of them mediocre to said the least.
They need to add at least 5 to 10 more wines and 1 or 2 in the mid-​high range to accompany a good steak!

Nos encanta venir a este lugar, nuestra segunda vez… Nos gusta ir los viernes y preferimos sentarnos en el bar ya que la espera de mesa es aproximadamente 45 a 1 hora. Lo primero que puedes picar son los peanuts luego te llevan unos panes recién horneados Deliciosos! La última vezOrdenamos un sirloin con shrimps, la carne estaba cocinada a la perfección. Mi side favorito es el corn, lo sirven con mantequilla y condimentos que lo hacen delicioso. Muy buen customer service… La decoración me encanta. Los workers hacen una coreografía cada vez que les ponen la canción. Ideal para ir con familia y amigos a pasar un rato relajado y divertido. Definitivamente lo recomiendo!

Great lunch special deals; 8.99 for a great portion of protein plus two sides. Came in on a Saturday and was seated at my arrival. Service was spectacular and food came out rapidly. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you feel special if it’s your birthday!

Everything went perfectly the second I walked through the door. A hostess was able to sit me right away without any wait. The hostess then also handed me their complimentary bread which I must say was my favorite part of the meal. It’s sweet and delicious.
My server got me my drinks very quickly too (her name was Giselle) she was great!
Prices are decent, and environment is very country! The staff dances every so often it’s extremely cute !!!
Food portions are EXCELLENT BELIEVE ME YOU WILL LEAVE FULL !!

Giving this place 4 stars instead of five because the steak wasn’t worth the money !!! It was good but not THAT GOOD! (might just be me, I’m a meat lover and extremely picky when it comes to my steaks)
The loaded baked sweet potato is to die for though !! Don’t forget to order it (you’ll thank me later !!
Unfortunately I didn’t try any alcoholic beverages on my visit, but I will definitely be back and have some !! They looked fantastic !!

I was excited this place opened up. We called ahead so only waited about 30 seconds (yay). Started off with that fresh bread — OMG, it is SO good. Hot, soft, yummy, and that cinnamon butter is heavenly.
Next: appetizer. I love fried pickles so of course I ordered them. I was so disappointed. They were so salty with a really funky taste. I couldn’t eat more than 2 — they were inedible. I was sad.
Steak was next. Pretty good. Not crazy good, but pretty good. A little on the dry side but definitely tasty and soft.
Service started out great but towards the end of server kind of disappeared and was very slow.
I’ll probably be back because I’m hopeful for a better experience. Actually, I’ll definitely be back — I NEED that bread again!!! :-)

Came on a Friday night after a friend of mine highly recommended it. It was during a torrential down pour. Parking was crazy and the place was packed. Luckily, my friend told me to do a call a head. Good thing I did! As soon as we walked in, we were taken to our table. Waiting for us was a basket of fresh hot bread with an amazing cinnamon butter.
Service was excellent. I most enjoyed the music. Country music in west Miami. I mean wow. Really. Listening to Luke Bryan while eating peanuts and having a beer. Priceless.
So let’s get to the food. Delicious. Portions were perfect, Steak was perfectly cooked just the way I like it. Medium Rare. The sweet potato with brown sugar was soft and melted in my mouth. The kids menu is fantastic. It offers pretty much an adult menu with kids portions. Which my kids loved.
The Sangria Margarita (frozen) was amazing. I must warn you, share this beverage it is large and packs a punch.
Overall, the food was great, service was awesome and the ambiance was fun. Very kid friendly too. I would definitely return to this location.

Texas Roadhouse is rowdy! (In a good way!) It reminds me of what used to be Roadhouse Grill because there are peanuts everywhere!
I recommend calling beforehand so you can get your name on the waiting list already. It gets crowded pretty quickly, but they have a nice sized waiting area with peanuts galore. We didn’t have to wait long though.
The food was delicious! When we arrived at our booth, they gave us bread right away. It was a sweet bread with a cinnamon-​tasting butter. So good! The meat was so juicy and easy to chew! They also have great specials! When you get to your table, sign up for their mailing list to get free treats! The service was great and the staff looks like they have a lot of fun.
If it’s your birthday, saddle up and say «YEEHAW!» Literally though!
I had a great time here and will definitely be returning!

Ok. I learned about this place when a friend posted that she was there. I immediately thought to myself if this could be the same roadhouse grill that closed a few years ago. So what better way to spend Mother’s Day than trying a new place. Our wait was about an hour so that was a bummer but learned that they have call ahead which will do next time. The place looks just like the roadhouse I remember. Peanuts, country setting, country music which I am a fan of. For me the Best part was the warm rolls, not keen on the cinnamon butter though.
The servers perform a short line country dance for the patrons which was cute. Some of the servers looked like they didn’t enjoy performing even though the back of the shirts say «I LOVE MY JOB» .
Going back to the food, we ordered the combo appetizer (boneless chicken wings with the hot or mild sauce on the side), taylor skins (really good), and rattlesnake bikes which are mostly some kind of cheese balls with jalapeño (very hot). Salmon was pretty good, mash potatoes either loaded or with toppings of your choice. The issue I had was with the vegetables, my son’s were perfectly cooked but my husbands were hard.
For dessert I ordered the Olé Boy brownie with ice cream. Really delicious!
Next time will try the steak.
