As a past business traveler, it has always been my opinion that in general, Mexican food out west is typically better than the stuff on the east coast. That being said, it doesn’t mean I won’t try the stuff on the east coast. So my friend and I saw this place and decided to give it shot. First thing we liked was the fact that they also served beer! There was also a tiny salsa bar so you can«heat up» your food to the level you like. I tried the Quesadilla and Chimichanga combo. Flavor-wise, they were just OK in my book. Adding salsa helped. The beans were good, but the rice wasn’t tasty at all… even when adding salt, pepper, and salsa to it. Prices are a little on the high side in my experience, but this place is in a strip mall… so maybe they have to be marked up a little higher than normal to be profitable. In a pinch, this place will do… but if you have to time search around, I think you can probably find better Mexican food.

Love their fried ice cream! However, the food is a bit disappointing especially for the portions and price.

I have been to this place a couple times and I do not recommend it at all. First of all let me start by saying that whenever I have gone, at least half the tables are dirty and the people working there pass by it and don’t even pick it up, last time I went I even had to pick up all the dirty plates myself and take them to their counter. Second, the food is over priced, they serve you tacos that are almost empty and Im not even exaggerating, youre pretty much paying to eat a tortilla chip with a little bit of cheese. Last but not least, the owner is extremely unprofessional, mean-spirited and just plain rude. Im not a person to go on here and give reviews just because, if im saying all of this is because businesses like this one that don’t care about their customers at all and ruin the franchise name don’t deserve the clientele they get.

Had lunch at Taco Rico today, overall I thought it was ok. Steak burrito and loaded nachos both didn’t have much flavor. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was very good. I might give’em another shot.

Good tastes very good but the customer service is terrible. The people that work there are very rude. I do love the food so that’s why I gave it 3 stars. If your looking for taste go there but expect poor service.

This location is fairly new to the area, so we’ve been here a few times for lunch. I’ve previously been to one in Doral and it was wayyyy better than this one. I didn’t like the Red Sauce Enchiladas nor one of their salads. But we’ve always had take out, dining-in might be different and food quality might be better.

I don’t recommend this place they don’t know how to make it an enchilada I asked for chicken enchilada and what I received was a tortilla with chicken wrapped up and a few pieces of cheese sprinkled and slightly melted. It was the worst enchilada I have ever had. The sauce on top was tomato sauce was Watered down

Cold re heated Tex Mex fast food. Perfect for student and on the go «fill up the tank fast» patrons. Not a place for the conoceur of Mexican Food. Good quality tortillas though. The tortilla soup is more of a tomatoe bisque. The service: they keep the tables and floors clean but they do not interact with the public, like in Taco Bell, McDonalds or BK. Burritos, bowls, fajitas. Definitely a tex mex highschool cafeteria style place.

Always a great experience. The Ultra Burritos are huge! Everything is delicious. I would like to see a hotter hot sauce being served, but not a big deal. Service and Food is always on point. They have a reward program for $ 5 off your purchase after like 10 punches.

Went for some chimichangas(after having seen Deadpool) and never having tried one– I’m so pleased! Considering that most places deep fry their chimis making their shell seem excessively oily, this chimichanga was lightly fried. It didn’t taste greasy/buttery/oily or ‘heavy’ at all– the filling(steak) was perfectly seasoned, and so yummy! My meal came with some rice and refried beans; free chips with all the orders– mmmm, chips and salsa! Everything tastes fresh, and the staff were all really nice(especially since we were a large group of 18 people)! I’m definitely coming back for more chimichangas, steak tacos, and quesadillas, so I can sample all their entrees!

Man this place is just great. I haven’t been to a good mexican/tex place in a while. I went on a Monday night and it was pretty full. Luckily they had seats outside. I ordered the Baja Chicken bowl and some 99 cents taco’s. Baja bowl is huge and the chicken and rice freshly cooked with some lettuce and Pico. Freshly made sour cream and everything about it was amazing. Free Nachos with purchases and you can continue getting it refilled. The service was great 5⁄5. I’m coming back here again.

Taco Rico is in West Kendall!!! I’ve been a fan of this place for years, so imagine my excitement when I saw a new location open up in my hood. I’ve been there several times now and have always had a great experience. You get free chips worth your order and there’s a nice selection of fresh salsa to choose from. During weekday lunch hours it can get crowded, but you can avoid that by ordering ahead for pickup, or just order for delivery and avoid having to leave your house or office all together. The quesadillas and fajitas are delicious. My favorite is the fajita salad(minus sour cream and cheese).

Came for a quick lunch I had heard of the spot that was opening close to my job and noticed there prices were pretty good for lunch. I ordered 3 chicken soft tacos and 3 hard ones they all came with a side of chips they also have a little side bar with all different sauces that they make fresh for you too choose from each plate was about $ 6.00 with tax not bad. I don’t recommend the hard tacos if you are taking them to go cause they can break easily and get soggy by the time you get home. I will definitely come back with my coworkers because they are quick and the inside dinning is not that bad they have some small sitting outside about 3 tables if you feel to get some fresh air. Looking forward to trying there quesadillas next time around.

This was my second visit at Taco Rico. The first wasn’t so hear but today Was outstanding. The girl that took out order was awesome. Customer service is very important and today it was on point. I also learned that on Monday’s they have $.99 hard and/or soft beef, chicken or bean tacos. All ordered came with chips. I was very impressed with our visit today. Might make this a weekly visit.

If a place offers Tex-Mex in Miami, chances are I have probably tried it. I love Tex-Mex and have been to Taco Rico multiple times at different locations but all of them have been just OK. They have a great selection of food and pretty good service but the taste is almost always stuck at average. My usual go-to’s include the chili con queso and the steak quesadilla but I have also tried the tacos, loaded nachos, Baja bowls, and jalapeño poppers. The best thing about Taco Rico for me is that they deliver to my house and to my job, which is convenient enough to keep me coming back when Tex-Mex cravings kick in and I can’t sit down to a formal meal of it but I’ve never been overly impressed with the quality of food. It’s not bad food; it’s just not mouth-wateringly delicious food, which is what I typically expect from a top-notch Tex-Mex restaurant. It is worth a try but there are definitely better options for Tex-Mex in Miami.

This is a new location for Taco Rico located in the London Square shopping center. I have eaten at other Taco Rico’s but this was my first visit to this location. The inside was clean & layed out well. The staff greeted my party with a smile & helped us decide on what to grub on. I opted for a ground beef quesadilla & my friend ordered some fajitas. We munched on some complimentary chips while we waited for our orders to be ready. The food was delivered to our table hot & fresh. The flavor was on par with my previous trips to Taco Rico’s. I would definitely opt for a Quesadilla again but next time I think I’ll be going with Steak, Chicken or a Shredded Beef option if available. The ground beef was just too messy to eat after a few bites. Would I go back? Yea, I’d give it another try.

7÷27÷15: Would have given them a 5 but had to wait 20+ minutes for my food. Had to ask for it 3 times and stand at the counter to get it. By the time I got back to my table with my food, my friend was finished eating. Amazing taste and the specials are awesome. Rene was helpful, but kitchen kept forgetting my order. Salsa and chips were good. My friend had the Baja Bowl which she said was great. I ate the taco and burrito lunch special which was filling. Will come back again. Hopefully I won’t have to wait as long for my food. 7÷28÷15: had the Baja Bowl listed under the Taco Rico Bowls. It comes with: grilled chopped chicken over rice, guacamole(on side), sour cream, cheese, corn salsa(side), lettuce and pico de gallo. Absolutely AMAZING!!! Service was quicker and the manager checked on us to ensure everything was great!!! They earned the 5 today!!!
