I am cuban and living in miami, that requires trips to sedanos FORSURE! The sedano stores always have the same murky look. I don’t know if it’s the color of the floors or what, but the never look as clean or organized as other large chains. I like to shop here when I need to make latin soups and things of that sort(ajiaco mainly). I just feel as if they have a large produce selection when making certain latin foods. I also like that they have a lot of cuban must haves in the kitchen for sale(cafeteras, discos for sandwiches, cuban pressure cooker, etc). Do I shop here weekly? No, but I do make a trip every so often to pick up certain essentials. Note: they also have eyebrow threading at this location. They are ok, I’ve used them before out of convenience. As for the small store found inside(clothes, jewelry and handbags, bah, not my style but I guess they do well since they have stayed in business for some time. They would receive the two extra stars if place was cleaner and more organized.

Why does this Sedano’s have two and a half stars it’s not bad it’s the best one I’ve ever been to. The staff is extremely friendly in fact some of them speak English even though some speak Spanish like all the other ones do but this one is great

My review is solely on the cafeteria of sedanos! I love my cortadito(Cuban coffee with milk) in the mornings and this is my stop on weekends as it’s close to my home and I have my regular place(which I have Unilocaled about it) on the weekdays. The cortadito is «ok» some people have it some don’t. But I just take it and go. The croquetas as good as well as tequenos, pastelitos and empanadas. I stop here more for convenience. Wait staff is a but crazy and sometimes they get orders wrong and then blame the customer as I have witness it on several occasions.

Being Hispanic and in Miami, I have definitely gone into my share of this particular grocery store chain. This one is very big with a great selection of food items. What stood out to me was the fact that they sell clothes, jewelry and even have a mini-salon where ladies can get their eyebrows threaded. Interesting to say the least. You will of course find the usual men smoking outside while they stare you up and down as if they’re never seen a pair of jugs before. You know, the usual. So if you’re into buying your food the same place you get your eyebrows threaded, this might be your place.
