I’ve shopped at this Publix since moving to this area in 2001. This store is clean, staff is amazing. Great shopping experience.

I know it’s kindof silly to write a review for a publix but I feel I must let my fellow Unilocalers know of all the hidden secrets. I actually have a closer publix to my house(Hammocks 104st), but that publix always feels like going to Ikea or Dolphins mall. This publix on 167 and 88 is hidden at the end of kendall drive, I always come to this one since I feel like since its tucked out on 167 not many people know of it, there is always plenty of parking and never a line to pay!

Absolutely love this Publix. Largest selection of organic produce in Kendall. Store also offers greater selection than other Publix’s.

My all time favorite publix. So close to home. That I can(and do!) walk there. My daughter never misses a trip, since they give each kid a free cookie at bakery(a long one publix tradition). The good: –Big deli where they make sandwiches and have a few pre made things. –Great staff and management –organized and clean –good sales on some items –sweet lady that makes meals for us to try near produce section –they stand behind their brand –organized parking –roof drop off/pick up for when it rains! The meh: –Not a big selection on organic foods, specially meat-less options –price of seafood is a bit high –the pre-made vegetarian salads seem to be missing protein(With they would add more nuts or eggs, or something! While keeping it veg).

I really love Publix the grocery store… they deserve 5 stars. However, the Publix pharmacy deserves one star because the service and attitude has been terrible. On at least two or three occasions, the pharmacists were quick to say they couldn’t help, offer advice, or have a «we don’t» or «we can’t» attitude. They seemed bothered when asked a question. A few times, a prescription wasn’t ready when they said it would be ready. The pharmacy customer service has been so disappointing that I want to start using Walmart. The one bright spot is the older pharmacist with all gray hair but she usually isn’t there when I go. Hopefully, the Publix pharmacy can improve their customer service skills like the Publix grocery store.

My favorite Publix by far… This location is always clean and organized. Their employees are friendly and offer the best customer service. It’s rarely busy…

This is one of the better publix around. It is never busy and has Pacifico beer.

Is this the most westerly located Publix in South Florida? I think it is, maybe someone can fact check this for me. If you want to avoid the traffic at stores further east, and are looking for a place right on the footsteps of the Everglades, then here you go. It’s being remodeled a bit now, nothing major, but some touching up here and there. This place seems like it’s been here a long time, even though homes have only gotten out here in the past few years. The crowd is mixed, because you see the typical Kendallites, and then people who jumped off Krome Ave. to get there, and that’s a mixed group. The employees are what make the place, and everyone has always been very nice here(including making sure I didn’t drop things on my way out). The selection is good, with the typically good Publix brands, but some things are still missing. Not much organic stuff in the meat and vegetable sections. More seafood variety and better pricing would be sweet, and especially, will this store will ever carry Sriracha sauce!?! Anyone from the NorthWest would be horrified you didn’t carry this, much less North Carolina(hint, hint). Anyway, this is my local place, and I appreciate the abuelitas helping to bag groceries, and the stock guys who run into the back at 9PM to make sure the Organic Milk is really out of stock and not just misplaced, including ETA on getting it in. Thanks for the extra effort and help, it’s appreciated.

5 Reasons to Love a suburban Publix 1. A huge Ice cream section 2. Parking is a cinch 3. The long-time employees remember you 4. The bakery and deli make a great couple to share space 5. The aisles are wider Most importantly it’s an extra large Publix ahhhh I know I’m not supposed to like big box stores but this place is just so nice and shiny, even though it’s not even new anymore. Some things are just easy to love.
