If you are in a bind for money or are just nearby and want to pick up some snacks, I’d say try out your luck. I came across this place because I had just watched Napoleons Dynamite and was craving some tator tots(not a joke). To my surprise, the tots were all moldy when I opened the bag later that day. I came back the next day and almost had to argue my way into getting a refund, as if I had deliberately put mold into the bag somehow(because I clearly have nothing better to do with my day). But I digress. 1. Be prepared to become overwhelmed by screaming, crying, loud talking everywhere. 2. Be prepared to walk into people or have people walk into you because of the minimal walking space + the abundance of boxes left in the aisles. 3. Be prepared to experience subpar customer service(you’d be lucky if the cashier looks at you in the face). 4. Be prepared to feel extremely uncomfortable with the mess of a parking lot available to you. 5. Be cautious, take your time in making sure what you’re taking home isn’t damaged, opened or expired(as it seems management doesn’t give two hoots). Good luck!

Stopped in when we were in the neighborhood, and seeking cold meds. We didn’t find what we wanted, but wandered around for a bit. Nice neighborhood market with a good variety of items, If I lived nearby, I’d defintiely return. They have the biggest avocadoes I have ever seen,(and I’ve seen some huge ones in Hawaii.)

THANKYOUSOMUCHFORBEINGOPENEASTERSUNDAY! I don’t normally do any full-blown grocery shopping here, Truth be told I only stop in when I just need to pick something basic up because its located down the street from home. I don’t really notice any worth while prices, plus parking is always an adventure, and the place is a bit worn so its not so appealing to the eye. Anyway, there I was on Easter Sunday parking in front of my usual supermarket of choice and what am I met with? Giant ‘Closed’ signs. I went into an instant panic. I had people coming over in a few hours and I would sooner slit my wrists then head into Wal-Mart on any weekend day!!! I took a shot and thank god Sedanos was open! I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes. Gracias.

mystery [mis-tuh-ree](n) — anything that is kept secret or remains unexplained or unknown. it is a mystery to me why this sedano’s remains open. it is old, run down, and outright expensive. funny thing is, people think that because they shop in a latin market, they’re saving money and its NOT the case. people need to do their homework on bargains! aside from the unappealing aesthetic and overpriced items, it’s filthy. there are layers of dust on their cereal boxes and canned goods. and their produce never seems fresh– yuck! if you ever find yourself in this supermarket, CHECKFOREXPIRATIONDATES!
