Every time I come to this Walmart it is a pleasant experience! The team members are always willing to help you find what your looking for and you can tell the supervisors and managers know what they are doing on an executive level. This Walmart market place is extremely clean! From the day their doors opened to date the cleanliness leave has been outstanding compared to some other Walmarts. Prices are great! This is one of the few Walmarts that I know of that Cary TONS of organic items obviously at a great price. There’s a whole wall of organic produce. There is a bakery, deli, and food by the pound, also a liquor store and pharmacy. This is Walmart is not a super center so you’re not going to find electronics, toys, or much house items. I visit this location about 2−3x a week. Love it and the staff!

Stopped by to get pastries for work. Right out of the oven, fresh! Love the convenience of the location and the store set up. Will definitely stop by again.

Finally, I feel special again due to an amazing bakery staff. I’m a vendor for Home Depot and Lowes and give training to staff almost on a daily basis. Bakery staff member Marlene prepares my order of the best and most reasonably priced pastelitos in town. Thanks for making my job that much more easier. Pete

Walmart is walmart… However, in this case Walmart feels a little different. Yes it’s in West Miami with mixed populations right next to a railroad. But it was built on a huge piece a land and has an excess of parking(which in other Walmart’s tends to be a problem, not here). It’s also 24 hours but it’s only a Market Place. I like this when I do that big once a month list where i need to buy dried snacks, paper towels etc. You’re going to get the best prices and this location unlike many others isn’t overwhelming. So, i like this Walmart and will be visiting it on my once a month trip.

Worst service ever. It is very crowded. There are a lot of employees walking around but not enough on the registers. Checking out takes a very long time, even the self check outs. I went to collect money and the manager(Keyla) had a bad attitude. At first, she told me the system was down. She said every time it rains the systems don’t work.(I’m from Chicago, so am guessing almost everyday the systems don’t work?! It rains almost everyday here.) So I decided to wait around and shop and then try again. I asked a Male manager and he said it was working. Keyla didn’t even check, at first. So Keyla then came to help and she gave me some $ 20 bills. One of them was ripped so I requested for a different one instead. She had the most unnecessary attitude. Am sorry, but I will not accept a ripped bill, because not many places will accept it and then I’ll be stuck with a useless bill. What’s the worry anyway, it’s Walmart! There are a lot more bills in the drawers. So why not make a customer happy and replace the bill? Not enough friendliness and service from the employees here at this location.

Convenient location next to a Main Street in Miami. Parking is big enough that even during its grand opening it was enough. Also a Walmart gas station in front. What makes the rating go down is the fact that I found isles and isles of random expired things. I only took a picture of two but honestly is sad to see such things. Customer service counter was sadly controlled by one person where she the employee herself said she was overwhelmed by the fact that one machine is for check out and sending checks, the other for lottery. Finally it was an ok place to go to as it does have the Walmart prices but honestly need to check the expiration dates.

This is a Walmart supermarket not typical Walmart. Parking is ample, prices are pretty good, however only small bakery and deli. No butcher so only prepackaged meats. produce is okay but not great. no seafood dept. only frozen and very limited. on the plus side there is a liquor store.

My husband who is one of the few gringos in Miami discover the little store a few weeks back and bought for me coconut oil. It surprised me that a Walmart would have such exquisite brand so we went with the rest of the family. At a regular Walmart our bill would of been around $ 300 but today we only spent $ 143. Very clean which is also surprising for a location in the heart of SW8th Street. There is also a little gas station on the side. As soon as you go in the produce catches your eyes. The only item we didn’t find was air conditioner filter because they didn’t have the correct size. Not all employees speak English so if you need assistance with the self check out it will take you additional time. Yes they do have plenty of self check out machines and a few actual cashiers, but that’s great if you know about technology and can do your own check out. Most of the older crowd opt for the cashiers. I recommend this location if you are in the neighborhood.

This is a brand new location on 8th street, it is a supermarket and not a complete Walmart. It is conveniently located for those of us that have to drive through 8th street on our way home from work. It is well stocked. I stopped to get some items for our annual Thanksgiving meal and found everything except for two items(pecans, cream of coconut) and had to stop at a Publix afterwards. Overall it has good prices, well stocked and ample parking.

Clean supermarket, modern… if it wasnt for the sign I wouldn’t believe its run by Walmart… everything is great… except for the costumer service: garbage. 10 employees wandering around. 1 out of 9 registers open(except for the 4 self service registers). Yep… its Walmart.

I am very aware of what Walmart is, what they do, and how people feel about it. But I didn’t know that Walmart branched out into the grocery segment. For a chain more popular with cheap electronics and clothing that integrated grocery and evolved into a supercenter, this new incarnation of the Neighborhood Market is a very interesting one. This location would be the third Neighborhood Market in Miami, the other two located in Hialeah. I drove by it a few times and was surprised not to see the parking lot full and the amount of people that pullulate around Walmarts. This place was empty like a pharmacy on a sunday night. I thought the store was not open, yet I saw people walking in and out. When I finally found time to walk into this Walmart, and not being familiar with the market concept, I felt a bit lost. I entered and all I saw was produce, frozen foods, groceries, etc. Only two sections were non grocery, the personal care section and the cleaning supplies section. There were no electronics here. And hence the name Walmart Neighborhood Market, or a Walmart that is only a supermarket. Ok. I like supermarkets. I walked around a bit and saw a bunch of things I like and some I didn’t like. I am not familiar with the Walmart brand, and this supermarket is full of Walmart brand stuff. Not a bad thing if you are on a budget. I also saw a bunch of Mexican goods. I can’t help to think that to a giant corporation like Walmart, Mexico is the«default» way to go when they want to attract Hispanics. Of course, Walmart forgets that there are more than twenty Hispanic nationalities in the American continent, but at the same time, I love tacos, so Walmart, I forgive you. There were lots of Cuban inspired condiments but more surprising was the amount of very nice Asian condiments. Asian condiments are plentiful. Yet the biggest surprise this Walmart offered was the wine shelf. It runs about twenty four feet, facing, and equal in length, to the Heineken and Corona filled beer cooler. Surprise, surprise, they have wine under three dollars. I wonder who they want to attract?(rhetorical question) As far as prices, I think this Walmart has the same prices as other supermarkets, unless you buy the Walmart brand. If you do, you’ll be able to save the money you earn at your two jobs. Other than that, you need to shop around, and you’ll be better off doing that. Is there anything else this supermarket can offer? Yes, this Walmart is one of the few supermarkets that is open twenty four hours. Yes. Open 24 hours. Last feature, and the deal closer, there is a Walmart liquor store next to it. I wonder what prices they have there. I was unable to walk in, I had gone late at night. I bet they have great prices, although I also wonder if everything there is Made in China.
