Overall I had a fun time. The Sam Adams photo station was fun. You get to dress up and take pictures with a giant beer stein. They did have food trucks set up, but I would have liked to have some German food, seeing it was called Octoberfest. They also need some more activities during the earlier hours. The drinks are reasonably priced so that is definitely a plus. We got the groupon so we got a cool Sam Adams hat, stein, beer and bottle opener for 7 bucks-so it makes sense to buy the deal online.

I had a fun time at this event, however my friends and I all agree that there really wasn’t much to do there. The VIP area didn’t seem much different than the general admittance area other than the fact that they had one bean bag game and were selling 1oz shots of Utopias (waited 10 years to try it, yum) and some special cask beers.
I liked the live music, but besides paying 6 – 8 bucks for Sam Adams beers I wouldn’t say this event was much different then going to a local bar and ordering drinks.
Sam Adams is a pretty large company now so I was expecting a bit more from this event. Needless to say I still love Sam Adams and will continue to attend their events.

Its great that theres an indoor with this weekend rain. The stage has a dj playing divers music. Off course German Poka. There are long tables just like in Germanas Octoberfest. Servers come to take your beer order. Bathrooms are available & line is fast.
Its not a beer tasting sam adams event. You have to pay to get in & pay for a beer.
NOT WORTH IT!!!
