Had a really nice anniversary dinner after checking out pamm museum near by. We did the $ 39 spice prefix and the lasagna since Italian is their specialty. We started with comp Rosemary pizza crust bread basket. Our waiter was nice and brought us some marinara sauce to dip it in. Calamari appetizer was a nice start but not outstanding. The herb bread that it came with was the best part along with the sauce. The main courses were huge hits! Lasagna was perfect. That is the best way to describe it. The pan seared salmon was delicious as well and a large portion. The chocolate cake was just ok. Service started out good but got slow at the end. It seemed like there was only one waiter for the entire room. Luckily we weren’t in a hurry and the table in back allowed for excellent people watching.

Reservations was for 8:00PM, and we were seated on time. Chef Carla Pellegrino was gracious to come and greet us, but had to get back to the kitchen, as she was prepping for the evening. The server’s name was Sonny, and was very attentive to our needs. He was professional, and courteous at all times. There were six of us, and I made sure I took a photograph of all the food. Unfortunately, I didn’t want to lug my Canon camera, so, I used the iPhone 6. The pictures are not the best because of the lighting from my angle. Unlike some of the reviews that I read on here, I wanted to judge for myself, and had a wonderful dining experience. The food wasn’t salty, and seasoned with the right amount of spices. Chef Carla was very accommodating, and made my penne all’Arrabiatta with the perfect amount of heat like I requested. There were some specials, risotto with squid ink, not for the faint of heart, but it was yummy. The New York Strip steak was cooked at a perfect medium temperature, just how my hubby ordered, topped with some luscious tomatoes. The mashed potatoes was exquisite with a hint of nutmeg, which gave it a slight sweetness, but was not overpowering. The lasagna(e) was made with a béchamel sauce, and was delectable. The calamari(squid) was prepared in this delicious puttanesca(red) sauce and cooked perfectly, not chewy, not undercooked. The meatballs were moist and delicious. After dinner, we enjoyed some drinks, at the rooftop and had a fun evening. All in all, the food, the wine and the overall ambiance worked in perfect harmony. I want to thank Chef Carla for taking the time to strike a couple photos with me, in the midst of her culinary creativity in the kitchen. She is a passionate chef, and puts her heart and soul in her cooking. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’ve heard so many great things about Touché and so I decided to try it out. I’m also a huge fan of Chef Carla so I just had to go here. We made a reservation for 4 people at 8pm on Saturday. When we arrived there was a bouncer and he asked to see our ID to go to the restaurant which was pretty odd considering we were going to eat dinner. I know club Eleven is located there too but still thought that was weird. Anyways you get on the elevator to get to the 3rd level which is the rooftop and where Touché is located. We got seated pretty quickly and it wasn’t busy at all, there was one other table seated in the restaurant. It was freezing in the restaurant and so we asked if we could be seated in the lounge area which was outside but they kept telling us that once the kitchen starts firing up food it will get warmer. I was a little disappointed with the food, I expected so much but was let down. I ordered the Polla ala Milanese, it’s basically thinly fried chicken with an arugula salad. The salad was way too salty and the chicken was just ok. Everyone at the table felt the same about their dishes. The best part about Touché is the rooftop lounge, on Saturdays they have a live band which made the experience a little better. The sweet ginger cocktail was delicious and the servers were all very friendly and helpful.

Blown away. Stephanie is not only an amazing bar tender but also an amazing host. Furthermore, taking advantage of the miami spice menu and having such a great time! The restaurant is quiet, with an open kitchen, subtle bass from outside the windows, magical. Come check it out for yourself! Ps: Roxy is also a rockstar!

Recommendations: BREAD(Seriously) PENNEALLAVODKA COTOLETTADIMAIALEINAGRODOLCE I have so many great things to say about this place. Last night I went to Touché with a few people to try their Miami Spice menu. We started at the bar for a drink, where they have couches and music playing with a view of downtown Miami. Inside the restaurant offers a more intimate vibe with limited seating, hosting around 50 spots. The waiter warned us not to order the bread due to the amount of food being served, but we’re glad we did anyway. It was so fresh, with a unique taste. Try a small piece, it’s worth the space. For appetizers each couple ordered the fried calamari and the meatballs. Both were really good. For the second course I had the linguine, which was great, but the penne could have completed the meal. By the time we got to the 3rd course we were full. The pork tenderloin was juicy inside and crispy on the outside, covered with sweet peppers. It was delicious and the presentation was beautiful too. Dessert was a blur. We tried all three, which were great as well. Throughout the meal our waiter was very attentive and spot on with suggestions. At the end of the meal he presented each of us with a membership card to return to Touché for a 3 course menu, including wine, for $ 39. It was an added bonus to an already perfect night out with friends.

I went to Touché Restaurant & Rooftop Lounge for my birthday while in Miami. I found Touché using my Unilocal app. I went to the rooftop lounge for drinks. I didn’t eat any food. Touché has a very nice ambience and decent views of Miami. Service was average(bartenders were nice). The lounge area was busy at night(weekend). I wasn’t at Touché long but we had a good time. Touché Restaurant & Rooftop Lounge is a great choice for drinks and socializing. I give Touché Restaurant & Rooftop Lounge a 3.5 rating on my first visit. I’ll update this review once I try food here.

What an amazing space for a restaurant and bar. Views from everywhere. Sort of tricky to find the place, but follow the valet sign for 11⁄11 and that is it. Valet costs $ 10, which seems pricey even tough this is Miami We go there around 7:15 and were the first people in the roof bar. The restaurant doesn’t even open until 8:00 pm. That is a first for me. But we had a drink and started to catch up. Once 8:00 rolled around, we were seated and the dining space is really nice and comfortable. Background music not too loud, so you can carry on a reasonable conversation. We all at the Miami Spice menu, which for Touché was 4 course, appetizer, pasta, entrée and dessert. More than enough food once we were done. I had: 1. Meatballs apptetizer(awesome) 2. Linguine and clams pasta(clams were sort of non-existent, but the pasta was very good) 3. Chicken saltimbocca for entrée(probably the weakest part of the meal, not bad, just not special) 4. Mud chocolate cake for dessert(good, wish it had been a bit more room temp). Service was very friendly and attentive. There was a lightening storm that put on a great show for us. Touché is a good spot after seeing a show at the Arsht Center or just for a special dinner.

You’ll want to read this and hopefully you won’t be offended. I never thought I’d go to such an obvious spot but we had just left the Arsht Center after a show and we were famished. So we «Yelped» and sure enough Touché came up. It seemed to have decent ratings so off we went. They are located right across from Club Space on a third floor rooftop. Okay, not much of a view since the outdoor lounge overlooks Club Space and an empty lot. More on the lounge in a bit. We didn’t have reservations but we were seated very quickly with less than a 5 minute wait. Upon entering the restaurant the first thing you encounter to your left is the open kitchen and the tables to the right. I was surprised to see how small this place was. I counted maybe 14 tables if that. The menu is quite good and the way I like it, two pages. By the way, here you’ll pay for the bread. Our server was not the swiftest and certainly shy. These are two traits you don’t want from a server at a restaurant with these elevated prices. The atmosphere was quite pretentious and typical Miami«look at me» people. Most everybody I could spot was a «clubber» by default and I don’t think they cared what they were eating. I spotted one table where people seemed to be there for the food. Either way we ordered the Focaccia bread with Rosemary for appetizers and from their list of even more pretentious wines I ordered a Tempranillo Teres. That’s of course after striking out consecutively on two of my favorite wines from Willamette Valley. They were on the list but not in stock. Sad beginning indeed. The server tried to explain wines to me and why this one was better than the other. Kinda insulting as he was no Sommelier and pushing me to pick something I didn’t want. Bottles ranged from $ 60 to $ 1,700 from their small but well cultivated selection. The service was slow so we flagged our server down after eating way too much bread. My significant other ordered the ricotta filled ravioli in sage butter sauce and I ordered the salmon on spinach. I will tell you the food was was very good. The salmon had a crunchy skin much like a crunchy hand roll and it was cooked to perfection. Not because the server asked but because I asked. It was on a bed of spinach and a light lemon butter sauce. The ravioli was home made and cooked perfect. I would say it was delicate in flavor. The server did not even come back to ask how the food was. He kept walking past us as if he was alone in the room. Someone who appeared to be the manager made it a point to visit with some of the guests at their table but certainly not ours. I guess you have to be VIP. I love my city. Not even a hello. But he was certainly catering to the fake body jobs and obnoxious Lamborghini owners. It took us a while to flag the server down after we were done while our water glasses stood mostly empty and we poured the last two servings of our wine. Look, a restaurant who reached out with such pretentiousness should make sure that their service matched their price levels. They certainly did not do that at all. We ordered dessert hoping for some service redemption but no luck. We had a ricotta cheesecake. It was heavenly fluffy and light served with raspberry coulée and fresh berries. I would highly recommend it. An espresso to top it all off and then back to the exercise of flagging our server down who was too busy counting his tips and walking by both of us 2 times ignoring us with every step. I finally got my check and we had one of those«ahhhhh» moments. Now i get it! A 20% tip is already on the check. No incentive to be the best you can be to… wait for it… EARNYOURTIP. I will not be coming back here. This is a typical Miami experience lately. Good food and concept however, sabotaged by the service. Shame. We exited through the outdoor lounge a great band was playing and the atmosphere seemed very cool. I would spend some time there if bottle service is not required but I doubt it.

The bartenders were extremely rude. Also, I asked for a cup of water with my vodka soda and the bartender refused and said I had to buy a bottle of Fiji water. I understand that they don’t want people to stand around drinking free water all night, but I feel like it’s unethical and dangerous to refuse free water to people who are drinking. Our cocktail waitress(Karen?) was very sweet and very attentive. The music was great and the atmosphere was fun. Unfortunately, the terrible attitude of the bartenders, and the fact that«drinking responsibly» is either very expensive or impossible, really put a damper on the whole night.

I was a bit bummed that the view was not of anything really spectacular, it was more a view of downtown Miami(I think thats what the area is called) and a view of all the other bars, industrial buildings, some skyscrappers, and clubs within a close proximity. So, I came here for a work event — and the staff was very nice. The bar was fully stocked, and the drinks came out VERY strong. There was catered food — which was kinda average. The calamari was really good here too!

Had been wanting to check this place out for a while… We finally went last night and were pretty impressed. I give the vibe and service 5 stars… The restaurant itself is very quaint with about 12 – 15 tables… The food was very good. Although we we’re not blown away that is why my overall rating is 4 stars. Great restaurant for a romantic date. The outside terrace looked very nice for drinks. They told us the have free live music every night which we definitely plan on checking out soo

This awesome hot spot was gracious enough to host a private block party for 3 of the local residences(TMP, Marina Blue, and 900). The food and drinks were delicious and the live band(Face to Face) which I believe plays there every Friday, was phenomenal. What stood out the most was the service. You will never see friendlier servers and management anywhere. They were just sooooooo nice and I can only hope that this is the norm and not the exception because this was, as I mentioned, a private party. Our waitress, Stephanie, was da bomb. So darn sweet and helpful. Afterwards we went downstairs for a live show at E11even and it was so, so, so, good. Best adult entertainment I’ve ever seen. It wasn’t vulgar. It was artistic, creative, and just beautiful… I will DEFINITELY be back

This is hard to rate. Looking away from the fact that the restaurant is on top of a strip club in downtown Miami and next to club space, the restaurant itself is very nice! The terrace area has retractable metal roof, which I thought it was deff cool, it also has a pretty view and the lounge music they play is good. After arriving and giving the car to the valet guy we were escorted to an elevator on the side, if you don’t know about the strip club you won’t even notice it, immediately taken to the second level. The hostess then took us in to the actual restaurant and we were sat in a round table close to the bar and kitchen. Menus were handed to us, and we were shown to our waiter for the night. Moments later we were moved again to another table that was next to the original one. At first we were a little confused but they were trying to accommodate us for a better view, couldn’t they have done that from the beginning? We had a Gilt City coupon and we were informed of having $ 120 to spend however we desired. We ordered the focaccia bread, and the meatballs to start. And the filet mignon as our main courses. The filet comes wrapped in pancetta and with Gorgonzola cheese on top, ours we ordered without the cheese. Our server was very attentive and came to check often but not during awkward times, like when your mouth is full of food and they’re asking you if all is well. After dinner was done we requested our check and the problem began. There was a huge confusion from the upper management to the staff. It was clear the communication piece was lacking big time. We were told we had $ 120 upon arrival and then the manager told us we were required to get a bottle of wine and pay the difference. After trying to get clarification and come to an agreement we were honored the original $ 120 and paid the remaining balance. A couple of things tho, our waiter David was amazing. The manager was the complete opposite. He turned out to be a ball of sarcasm that ruined the great experience we previously had, his breath smelled like he had an entire pack of cheap cigarettes before coming to speak to us at our table and he did not know the definition of personal space. The whole time I kept having to move away from him because he was so close and no one like that repulsive smell of cigarettes. Which leads me to believe he was smoking on the clock while my food was being cooked and he was in the kitchen. I hope that wasn’t the case.

I really don’t know what to say… We got a gilt city deal which included 1 bottle of wine, one appetizer, 2 entrees and one dessert. Valued at $ 120. You have to get the elevator to get to the rooftop lounge where the restaurant is. The location is beautiful. View is not that great from the rooftop. There’s a building blocking the nice view of the Miami skyline. The actual restaurant is very nicely decorated. All white chairs and linens. Kitchen is visible which I like. A few minutes after sitting we were asked if we could move to another table. Then we realized they were trying to accommodate a bigger party. It’s ok we didn’t get bothered by it, the table we got moved to was even better! The waiter explained to us that the gilt coupon was $ 120 worth of food. So we could order till we reached $ 120 per couple. I was confused because the deal specifically said what we needed to get. But we did as the waiter said. The menu is very pricey. But totally worth it! Wow the food was delicious!!! We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer. Two 5oz meatballs. Delicious! Perfectly cooked. Very juicy! As our entrée we ordered the filet without the Gorgonzola. It’s wrapped in pancetta which gives it an amazing taste! WOW! Extreme perfection! Honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had!(I ordered it without the Gorgonzola.) Towards the end of our meal our waiter comes and tells us that since the gilt included a bottle of wine we had to order another bottle of wine obligated. He brought over the manager because he was confused himself. He had told us we had $ 120 to spend as we pleased. So now we were confused AGAIN! The manager came over and gave an explanation that not even he could understand and to say the truth, he was a little bit sarcastic and rude. Not to mention he had bad breath… It was such a confusion. Obviously nobody wants to look cheap. But we were put in such an awkward position. It was very awkward and confusing. Finally we ended up paying extra anyway. I had never had anything like that ever happen to me with gilt before, or groupon. The back and forth with the manager was honestly extremely embarrassing! The miscommunication between the manager and the staff is very poor! That’s the reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars. The food deserves 5 stars and the service from the waiter was excellent! Another thing, I think the clothing of the waitresses are a little too skanky… Anyway, I would definitely come back because the food was great! It’s not a place to come all the time unless you want to spend $ 250+ on a meal every week! But everything was outstanding. Except that«minor» confusion!

SOLID4 We had 6:45pm reservations on a Saturday during opening weekend. I mistakingly thought there would be a sunset view and wanted to make sure to catch it. There isn’t one, so don’t rush here earlier like I did. I was expecting a view along the lines of Juvia, but that’s not it at all. Touché is located in the middle of a bunch of warehouses and faces SPACE nightclub, amongst other abandoned or dreary looking warehouses. The east side catches a glimpse of high-rises and you do get a little bit of a skyline. What Touché doesn’t have in view, they make up for in fabulous décor and great food! Valet parking was available right up front and $ 10. Crossing a maze of velvet ropes, we walked up to E11even where three bouncers in black and red suits were standing. The smell of cigarettes from E11even leaked outside even with doors shut. Thankfully, to get to Touché we took the elevator that’s on the left hand side and outside(we didn’t have to go inside the club). The bouncers were all very friendly and welcoming. Once the doors opened, we were in a beautiful outside lounge area. I didn’t even care that the view was less than desirable anymore. Our friends were already at the bar so we joined them for a bit and we were escorted to our tables shortly thereafter. The restaurant is small. I would guesstimate it sits about 50 – 55 people, tops. Wooden planked floor, white tablecloths, modern track lighting, linen drapes, and ULTRA comfortable linen upholstered chairs all create an inviting, chic ambiance. The kitchen is open to the dining room, yet we did not even once catch even the slightest smell of food coming from it. Their ventilation system is very well done. Within 5 minutes of sitting, I overheard some loud voices. There was Chef Pellegrino making heads roll in the kitchen. She was intense! She kept going back and forth most of the night trying food and orchestrating the kitchen staff. I liked seeing her hands-on approach versus the«celebrity chef-i’m-too-good-for-it» attitude that often happens at other places. The menu describes itself as classic Italian, but they also offer items from their sushi bar. I don’t mind it, but it is an odd combination. These are items we tried: Bread basket: I loved the breadsticks and the focaccia! I had to limit myself or I would have gotten full on just that innocent looking basket. Classic Meatballs: two 5 oz meatballs(veal, beef and pork combo) in a tomato sauce. They were perfect! Ceviche Roll: very good Hamachi & Japaleño Roll: excellent. It brings this(wasabi?) salt that was incredible! Porcini Mushroom Pappardelle: very good. It was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Colorado Lamb Lollipops: continuing my lamb kick, I had to order these. Not the best I’ve had in South Florida(Wolfgang’s), but still pretty darn good. Who doesn’t also love parma proscioutto & caramelized onion mashed potatoes? Filet Chateaubruand: good. It comes wrapped in pancetta and topped with gorgonzola. It is served with a carrot purée on the side. Alone, the purée is perhaps bland but it’s the perfect combination to the very strong gorgonzola taste in this case. Ricotta Cheesecake: great Apple Tart: good Mud chocolate cake: good Espresso: bold and hot= perfect Service was great overall. Our waitress was very nice. Our only complaint was her handling of the wine. She was a little clumsy with it(spilling a little and overfilling the glasses). We had called ahead about a corkage fee and were told outside wine was not allowed. Once there, we inquired again. This time, the waitress said you are allowed to bring your wine, as long as it’s not on the menu, for a $ 35 corkage fee. It would have been nice to know that when we initially called. That said, the wine we bought from them was not ridiculously priced and we were able to drink two of them(only three cabs listed on the menu though). They came a little a warm and we had to ask them to chill it a little more for us. At the end of dinner there was a significant mistake made when splitting our bill, but they took care of it immediately. One last gripe… they had advertised a jazz singer for both Saturday night for the lounge area(and we had been looking forward to that). I had also confirmed it with them via Twitter. I asked about it once we sat and the waitress said it would start at 7pm. By 8pm, there was no one singing outside. I inquired about it again and the waitress then said it had changed to a DJ(which didn’t play until much later). Not sure whose fault that was, but it was disappointing. At the end of the day, it was opening weekend. I know they probably need to iron out logistics here and there. We met Chef Carla towards the end of dinner. She came by all the tables to welcome us and introduce herself. That was very nice. Despite the glitches I mentioned, I will be back in a couple of months. The food was great and the ambiance rocked! Go check them out!
