I can’t believe I haven’t been to this place sooner. Any place that serves good food and has cases full of fresh desserts and baked goodies is alright in my book. Short version: Service: Friendly and quick Food: Tasty and Fresh Ambiance: Noisy but casual and friendly Long version: 2:30pm on a Sunday and this place was bumpin’. Indoor and outdoor seating are available and we were seated right away. Our drink order was promptly taken and our fresh bread was brought out right away. We shared the Parrilla for 2(not to be confused for the Parrillada de Bifes for 2), which brought a sample of meats(flank, skirt, sweetbreads, chicken, sausage, blood sausage and more… see the pic). The food was served rather quickly and cooked perfectly. The meats were really tender and juicy but did need just a little bit of salt. All the cuts were great! Plenty for us to eat and each have enough for leftovers later. The sides we ordered were sweet potato mash and sweet plantains. They were ok, not remarkable but then again they are pretty straightforward. We were way too stuffed to even try dessert but they all looked amazing and I can’t wait to go back just for desserts and coffee. We only ordered water and house made limeade(which was delicious). Will return for sure!

Overly satisfied, waiter was pleasant, the food good and quick, the quality was excellent deserts different and awesome… Definitely coming again… I had a vacio(flank steak) medium cook, sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes. Nice and hot, perfectly grilled, and tasted great.

I like this place. The food seems fresh & it’s good to come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Some of my favorite things are the queso dip appetizer(but they don’t serve it with enough bread which is just silly to me), and their empanadas are to DIE for– especially the three cheese one. :-) Breakfast is good(not great). Every time I go they manage to overcook the eggs. Also there’s very little variety. The café con leche with a cheese empanada is perfection though. One big negative for me is their fries. They suck. Like really. They are definitely from a bag in the frozen food isle. And not even good frozen ones. Sucky ones. I’m a big French fry person so this is important to me. However, my experience here has been good overall. I mainly need to get my empanada fix from here from time to time. :-)

I absolutely love this place. To me, one of the things that make a restaurant excellent is when the service does not get compromised when is busy. We came for a quick bite and it was extremely busy. We were acknowledge upon entrance and our waiters were amazing.

I have to say that I’ve been here numerous times and the food has always been fantastic! Their lentil soup is absolutely phenomenal. Their beef is always cooked to perfection. Unfortunately I have been disappointed today with the short and dismissive service. We showed up today for dessert and coffee and were quickly shooed away by the server Al^*ro because they close at 10pm. It was 9:57pm…I understand you want to leave but at least offer«dessert to go».

Okay. So I have mixed feelings about this place. Somethings I loved, and somethings I loathed. Let’s get to the point. I came here for a casual Sunday lunch and I let the waiter know we were waiting for one more person(it was 3 of us). We waited a little and asked for a little bread basket while we waited and the waiter told us that according to his manager, we couldn’t have a bread basket until we put in an order… EXcuuseeee me?! Like, do you think I drove all the way to Kendall from Doral to TOEATYOURSADBREADBASKET? Apparently people go pretend they’re going to have meals, eat lots of bread, and then probably go to Grazianos or Patagonia when they realize that this place sucks. So they eat all the bread and leave, I guess! I guess this is what the ratchet mess of Kendall has come to! If it wasn’t for the fact that we were waiting on my 80 year old grandmother, I would’ve gotten up and left! How insulting and cheap!!! You know what, skip this place and it’s empanadas that tasted reheated and sad. Seriously, the empanadas weren’t good at all. The meat tasted really strange. I’m fat and I’ve eaten lots of delicious empanadas. These weren’t one of them. Like, Don Pan which is a chain is better. Another thing that bugged me was how the menus were dirty and full of grease when they gave them to us. Yuck. Any who, we all had entrañas, which were actually really good. But there are also a million places where you could get good entrañas. Skip.

Very nice Argentinean restaurant in the Candelaria. Off the bat, the bakery is outstanding. I would encourage anyone to stop by for an afternoon snack or light meal of empanadas or emparedados(sandwiches). I am a big fan of the basic ham and cheese and the meat, but they do have some tasty and creative selections such as prosciutto and blue cheese. The cakes are both beautiful and delicious. It’s classic Argentine flavors and presentation, perfectly executed. The restaurant has a good wine selection and with 5 bottles at $ 20, there really is no excuse to not sit back and sip a nice bottle of wine with your meal. My favorite starter/meal is the charcuterie and cheese board. It’s enormous! If you’re getting it as a table appetizer, make sure you have 6 – 8 very hungry people or you’re turning this in to your meal — which I often do, right along with that bottle of wine ;) I really enjoy dinner at this restaurant. Their grilled meats are all tender and well seasoned. As a bonus, this is one of the few places in Miami where you can order picaña off an a la carte menu and not at a buffet. The sides are always tasty. I prefer the mashes, either potato or sweet potato, and a salad, but you really can’t go wrong. There is also a basic pasta selection for those that are not looking for a very carnivorous meal.

Changes are inevitable in life but it pains me to see a wonderful restaurant change to a pretender. The long list of wines, that you found wonderful gems in Gone! The beef pinchos — Gone! Well we will come once in a while to see if they remember what made them 4 stars!

I love this Argentinian restaurant. Whatever time of day you come it’s always packed. The complete staff is very attentive and courteous. There’s such a wide selection of everything and the desserts, oh my the desserts look like masterpieces that you don’t even want to eat. I love the empanadas, there’s such a variety that will accommodate everyone’s liking, from meat to chicken to ham and cheese to spinach, I mean I can go on and on and there OJ is freshly squeezed and is an absolute must. There toast is huge and perfectly buttered, the coffee is wonderful and you put your own amount of sugar(i love this because i dont like too much sugar and people tend to over do it) the eggs come out perfect everytime(nice and fluffy).Everytime I come here whether breakfast lunch or dinner it takes me forever to decide what to order. This place is just a wonderful dining experience. You have to come and bring the whole family for such a delightful and fulfilling experience.

Went specifically for the sangria, since my friend said it was«to die for». $ 18 for 3 glasses, only a few blueberries in it. No discount or empathy from manager, but waiter did say that chef who made it, agreed that it was lacking. Migas we ordered were also tasteless. I had posted a review of this place before(gave three stars), back today, rating is even lower. Service was ok, but the food itself was tasteless and not cheap(I would have been ok with price of food had been adequate).

5 Stars for authentic Argentinian food and possibly the best dessert case ever! This spot is right between a Peruvian chicken restaurant and a Mexican restaurant but it was packed on a Saturday at lunch! I ordered the ground beef empanada and the knife-cut beef empanada– both baked versus fried. They were absolutely divine! My favorite was the ground beef one. It had all kinds of goodness inside including olives and cut up hard boiled egg. The flavor was intense and unforgettable. I shared the ceviche appetizer(definitely a large enough portion to share as an app or eat as an entrée). I was surprised by how good this was. It was served on a bed of lettuce and corn with red onion slices. Lemony, fresh, and absolutely satisfying! I also had the pleasure of trying to small fruit tart and the alfajores. The tart, which they said was their most popular dessert, was gorgeous and had peach, blackberry, and a strawberry on it. The crust was crumbly and flavorful and the filling, while a bit less dense then I’m used to, was sweet and creamy. I got to grab a bit of the Ensalata Rusa. It had less veggies than ones I’ve tried in the past, and was more potato-based. That being said, it was pretty good. Overall, I see myself returning any time I’m in the city. In fact… I may go again tomorrow… Mmmmm!
