We all have our vices and perfume is one of mine. From fashion to wine, makeup and oh yes perfume, love them all. This store is great. I came in here there other day with my daughter and friends. This location is very consistent with their Customer Service, always good. Yay, and that is hard shopping at Bayside sometimes.
A very nice lady was helping us as we were looking for a particular fragrance, in which it was to new for them to have. We did sample quite a few others that she suggested. Yeah, we all smelled pretty bad by the time we left. Yikes, hurry go home and shower. Many many moons ago I sold perfume which is why I probably got into the wine business.
They both go hand in hand. Appreciating the notes, the bouquet can be such an adventure and trying to find that perfect note that works with your body chemistry. We all have a very different body chemistry so what might smell good on someone else, may smell horrible on you. At times I can be an impulsive shopper but never with perfume. Nothing wrong with smelling off a little card like most retailers do but until it is on your own body, you may not know how it will smell on you.
The prices in this store are less than say a department store, and they have great selections. I just wish they had samples you could take home and try on. Typically, I always have a fragrance on so it’s hard to spray it on when I am shopping.
They also carry some cosmetics and hair products along with awesome bath products. Bubble bath anyone? My suggestion if you come here, go in with no fragrance on and try it on yourself and never ever smell more than say three otherwise regardless of smelling the coffee beans, trust me they all start smelling good.
Cool store with a great selection, good prices, and good service.
