Bayside Sun

My daughter enjoys shopping at this store in Bayside. We came here early on a Saturday morning, not quite sure what time the stores open. 90% of all stores were open at 10 am. but not this one. We waited and waited patiently when finally a lady came to open it up. It was almost 10:30. OK. great my daughter needed a new bikini so we all walked in to shop. They mainly carry bikini’s and beach bag’s and sandals.
From the moment we walked in the lady who was working was so rude. At first she would not even acknowledge us as she was to busy putting on her makeup. Really, um don’t you think you should do this before work maybe? Hmm, what a concept. This store is kind of hard to shop on your own as many items are too high to reach therefore you need help.
Finally, she starts to speak to us. I inquired about a particular bikini that I could not see the price and she said «oh no that is Brazilian cut, you will not want that.». Great, now your going to tell me what I want. First, it was for my daughter who only wears Brazilian cut, yes she is a white girl, but hello she has an ass!
This lady was so rude and so obnoxious. I said to my daughter oh you should get this bikini and she yelled, it’s $ 90, and I said then why is there a sign for $ 19.99 for each piece, huge sign on it. She turns sarcastically and said «oh that is for something else». My reply to her was «well maybe you need to move the sign then, duh?» That did not sit well with her.
She continued to ignore us, and I was so upset I made my daughter pay for the items because I could not handle any more rudeness without going off on her. I figured a review on Unilocal would justify my letting others know how awful Service is here.
I will never shop here again. We will find another store to give our cash too!
At the checkout she was very rude as well when we were spending our money, major fail!
