WORST customer service ever. The employees are too busy gossiping and giggling when they should be keeping track of the to-go orders! The place is almost always empty and the line to pick up is out the door. Also, when the server behind the counter made us wait 30 minutes for our pick-up order THATWASSITTINGTHERETHEENTIRETIME!!! The manager had nothing to say except«oh I’m sorry have a nice night» Are you kidding? My family likes the food but the people are downright disrespectful and rude. And when my dad stormed out, everyone in the line was clapping because they are all sick of dealing with this horrendous customer service. Another time we called to tell them they made a mistake with the order and the girl working there LAUGHED and said well that’s too bad. Enough said.

The place was clean. The order taking was efficient. The food was middle of the road– nothing special. I ordered Mongolian beef and fried rice. Found the beef to be a little dry and the rice was left untouched on my plate. It was a little dry too. The sushi appetizer was small. 4 pieces of sushi about the size of a dime but, it was good. Had a little hint of spice at the end which I enjoyed. The food was ordered together but came out at different times for my companion and myself. And the service took a little too long(was 7:00 on Friday night but there were not a lot of people there). The floor server was very helpful and obviously enjoyed his job. The price was right for what we received. I would be willing to give it one more chance because I believe it has the potential to be good but this night didn’t do it for me. In a word: Meh.

If you are craving a Sushi, The Teriyaki Crunch Roll is similar to a California Roll. I thought the rolls were a bit small but I was surprised on how tasty they were. The teriyaki sauce is drizzled on top of the rolls. Not bad for the price.

Pei Wei is the fast food restaurant version of PF Chang. Much healthier than Burger King and McDonald’s. My son and I my son and I go for lunch and sometimes dinner. The price is Inexpensive in comparison to the quality of food and variety. Asian menu like pork rolls, lettuce wraps, mongolian beef etc. and also lunch and dinner portion. All orders are cooked in front of you, can’t get fresher than that. Want dessert? Freshly made cookies chocolate chip or snickerdoodle. Nice restaurant set up for a much healthier choice from the fast food perspective.

This is my second time here. The first time I wanted over 45 minutes for my food and still it came out looking and tasting awful. I went today I was craving the chicken lettuce wraps, right this moment I’m feeling sick to my stomach and very disgusted Never again will I visit here. Make sure the food is fresh because the lettuce and the ground chicken is not agreeing with me tofsy. Sorry peiwei

First of all, I love Pei Wei! Last week I placed an order, there was a problem with it and the managers were more than cooperative with helping me resolve the issue. I will continue to visit this location as the food is delicious!

Pei Wei is one of those places that gives me mixed feelings inside. Literally. The menu isn’t overwhelming but it’s a very proportional size, with several different appetizers, meals, and sides. The Appetizers are first and foremost the best part of the menu. The Fried Wontons and the Lettuce Wrap(Thai Chicken) are amazing. The sauce with the Wontons is epic, and they can always bring more Lettuce for your Wraps! The service is amazing by the way! Food is brought out to you really fast, and the cashiers have personality! At this point, You’re wondering why I gave this place 3 stars. Well, it all starts from here: the main courses(Small and Regular sizes) come on different shaped plates, but the Serving Size is Exactly The Same! Why pay extra for the same size?!? The food itself has a very nice and tantalizing presentation! It also tastes very good! But here’s the thing… After you come here for a while, you start to realize that almost all the Pei Wei Dinner dishes have the Same Sauce! The same, sweet, Glazing Sauce. If your dish is spicy, they’ll just add some Sort of Spice Pepper to the sauce. Also, the food doesn’t digest like normal Chinese foods. I always get some sort of stomach problem after eating here. This normally doesn’t happen at other restaurants, and my family members also get the same digestive treatment. This makes the quality of the food mildly questionable in the long run. Pei Wei was great when I came here the first time. The food is awesome, but the more you end up coming here, that faster you’ll get tired of it; with the repetitive sauce and the long nights of stomach aches.

We usually really enjoy coming here. However lately with the new point rewards the computer is always off. The staff doesn’t seem to know what they are doing. It wasn’t busy yesterday. I got my meal 10 min before my husband and my grandsons. The food is good its the staff that makes the meal not rewarding. you see the cooks 5 of them running around like the keystone cops. where do we go what do we do. I know they are a new establishment but Maybe they need to have corporate come in and do another training. Sedrick from PF Change they need you …

We stopped by on Monday night at 7:30 and were 2nd in line to order. There is a more detailed menu near the cashier which we found helpful to list the ingredients in the dishes, compared to the large marque at the entrance. The cashier was friendly and efficient. You get a huge selection of fountain drinks that you could ever want. I ordered a glass of KJ chardonnay which was a full glass to the rim for $ 8. The food arrived very quickly and was hot. The server came to our table several times to check on us so we felt it reasonable to leave him a tip. The spring roll was a bit greasy, moderately filled but the sweet sauce had a bit of chili peppers in it. The kung pao shrimp roll is a good size portion. The small shrimp are tender but the tempura chili peanut crumble topping is awesome. The steak dynamite with brown rice as well as the honey chicken were excellent. Tender steak and slightly crunchy white meat chicken chunks with tasty sauce enough to slightly mix with the rice. The brown rice was a good quality, fluffy and nutty tasting. Very delicious food and efficient service makes this spot a hit.

It’s been a while since I visited this location, but today I was just disappointed. I ordered a Broccoli Ginger Steak with Brown rice. The brown rice was the star of the dish, and that says a lot. It was fluffy, a little chewy, but for someone who doesn’t like brown rice too much, it was enjoyable. The«steak» was mostly dry and tough, with a jerky consistency. Random bits were soft, but the majority were just overcooked and hard to chew. The sauce was very salty, and it didn’t help that the broccoli florets and rice were absorbing it. I also got a couple bitter florets, but that’s not necessarily their fault. The location itself is pretty clean, but the two cups we were given for drinks were dirty(gross!). Staff was friendly, and food came out in a decent amount of time. However, I must say that, in my opinion, the food is not worth the price you pay. But nice try P.F. Chang’s, maybe next time.

I adore this place. It’s the less expensive version of pf Chang’s, and their Mongolian beef lo Mein is to die for. Great little date night spot, packed and cheerful. They have the coke freestyle machine, which is always fun. Never had a bad bite there, and I’ve gone several times since it’s right around the corner from me. I regularly choose this spot over Chipotle.

Pei Wei seems to be aiming for a fast food alternative to Americanized Chinese food, but I don’t see the drive-through or value meals. I ordered the Dan Dan noodle dish with chicken(~$ 8), as well as a Thai Wonton Soup cup($ 1.99). The soup was bland, lacking any variety of flavor and having slightly undercooked dumplings(which were okay, but also kind of bland). Overall, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything amazing. The noodle dish looked ugly when presented; it kind of looked like a slop of congealed something or other on top of a bunch of noodles. The sauce tasted like something mass produced and shipped in vacuum sealed packs, like a dish I could make at home with equal effort on presentation. You would probably find a tastier meal at Trader Joe’s for half the price. Now, to be fair, the restaurant has a quick-stop café setup, and the servers bring you your order within 3 – 5 minutes of ordering. The staff and servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is simplistic and oriented for quick entry and leaving(a la Chipotle). But I paid a lot for sub-par food quality. I hesitate to compare it to P.F. Chang’s, but needless to say, from what I tried, the food is bland and seems mass produced. Though the vegetables seemed fresh, it’s hard to mess up on bean sprouts, cucumber slices, and herbs. Is Pei Wei worth the visit? No, not really. They need to improve their sauces and diversify their flavor portfolio, because an Asian taste this is not. It is, however, an overpriced fast-food franchise, and we seem to have no issue with those in the pizza and hamburger sectors, so why not continue the American trend? Now you too can ‘Pei Wei’ too much!

My wife and I went here for lunch in order to try their new sushi. We’d always seen Pei Wei as a 3 to 4 star place, and imagined the sushi would be the same. Sadly we were dead wrong. We wanted to try both the spicy tuna roll and the wasabi crunch roll, but they did not have the tempura flakes available, so no crunch roll. The cashier was polite so it didn’t really bother us. We also got the Orange Peel Chicken and a drink. Spicy Tuna Roll: I don’t like to be too extreme in my reviews, but there are times when polite words won’t quite cover it. The sushi was terrible. The rice was dry like it had been dragged through the sands of the Sahara, had a disgusting texture, and mediocre flavor. The taste of the actual tuna was bland at best. Orange Peel Chicken: The chicken itself didn’t have the best texture, but the flavor was sweet and tangy. The rice was almost as dry as the sushi rice, but a little better. The saving grace was the sugar snap peas. They were wonderfully crunchy, visually pleasing, and complimented the rest of the dish very well. Another strike against them was the way they served our food. One of the servers was very polite. The cashier however made and served our sushi. She reached over a partition by tables to serve us instead of walking around. I don’t expect her to curtsy when serving us, but she had to lean over with the sushi, soy sauce, and aioli sliding around on the plate. It wasn’t a huge deal, but still unprofessional. Why not one star? The sugar snap peas were excellent, everyone was polite and courteous except for the way we were served the sushi, the food was served quickly, and the whole establishment was clean from the front door to the bathrooms. If you take nothing else away from this review, take away this: Never, ever eat the sushi from Pei Wei.

This is my favorite Pei Wei, I go there often. Never had a complaint… well, maybe only that sometimes the sauces are a bit salty. Same with the thai wonton soup. Overall I like this place a lot.

The food is ok, but the service is terrible. I waited over 30 minutes for my food and the place wasn’t even full. All the tables were dirty and I couldn’t even find someone to wipe it down for me. Not coming here again

STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE. My coworker and I went to have lunch at their south Dixie location, first off the service was horrible but that wasn’t even the problem, we ordered our food, with no one waiting on orders and they took 27 min! When I ordered a chicken dish, the brought 4 small pieces of chicken and stale white rice, it was the worst food experience I’ve had in a long time. Over priced microwaved food is what they serve there!!!

We had the orange peel steak with brown rice. I have two complaints, the breading on the steak was soggy and the dish was overly drenched in the orange sauce. Next time, I will make sure to ask for light sauce. On a better note, I liked that they have healthy menu options, such as: lettuce wraps and brown rice sushi rolls. Overall, it’s a «fast food» PF Changs with quick service, a friendly staff, and incredibly low menu prices.
