Pasion Del Cielo Coffee Midtown

I remember this place when it first opened up. I use to live in the building upstairs for 4 years and I wish they had opened up sooner cause midtown was in desperate need of a coffee place years ago. I must say that even though my favorite coffee will always be Cuban espressos I was glad when this place opened up downstairs from me. I spent so much time at Pasion del Cielo studying for my exams that I grew so fond of there Jaimaican blue mountain Coffee which I highly recommend! Even though I don’t live in the area anymore whenever I am by midtown I try to stop and pick some up.

Worst chocolate croissant I’ve ever had… Very dry, it looked zero appetizing and it was stale. It doesn’t look like their pastries and baked-​goods are baked in-​house, maybe if they baked their own they would be better off.

First time today. Loved the coffee but the food was not good at all. Service was okay. They took long to get my food which was a complete disappointing. Corn caprese empanada and a ham and cheese croissant. Not getting them ever again. I’ll come back for the coffee. the caramel macchiato was good and rich. But service and food nah. I know probably the cupcakes are good cause they carry misha’s but not coming back to eat.

The barista rolled her eyes when she gave me wrong the order.

Great coffee place. I am a Starbucks fan and I cam tell you I found a new home in this place. Chilled, pleasant, amazing ambiance. Service was quick and the staff very pleasant. And to top it all off the coffee was great. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back here.

im the guy who gets tea at a coffee shop. thats right. i dont usually drink coffee but when i do es café cubano. otherwise is tea for me which they carry a few but this is not necesarily the reason why i am giving them 4 stars. their chocolate chocolate chip cupcake is. plus, good wifi, quiet place to get some work done and its not starbucks.

I really loved my experiences here. I had great coffee and great service every time. There was once in another location where I normally had awesome service, but just that once the girl making my latte didn’t bother to even froth it. That really pisses me off. I’m all about the froth and pretty decorative designs. Without that it’s just coffee.
Anyhow thus far every time at this location I’ve only received a good healthy amount of awesome frothing and neat little designs.
While you can get that at Panther Coffee, the parking there is freaking hell and the snacks are always gone and lines are annoying. Until they get a location with actually parking, I’m very happy to find this place. It’s a great location with parking garages and comfy couches and seating.

The worst coffee in Miami. Terrible service and all the beans taste the same. The café au lait is terrible. It’s over heated and it tastes like hot water. 5 brown sugars and it still tastes like noting. Any cheap Cuban places have better quality and price. The empanadas are actually good but at $ 4 they are overpriced. Try angelina’s next block up. They have bustelo and panther coffees for a lot less money and taste great.

So I went again this morning and ordered the iced caramel macciato latte with Brazilian beans, and a cortadito with Cuban style beans. Both were absolutely wonderful, and my coworkers couldn’t get enough of the cortadito I had brought. Today the service was completely prompt, and again the cashier was able to help me make a great choice. This is 5 star worthy, without a doubt!
