Buy 3, get one free… This is where I come whenever I need a card for any occasion… The cards are nice, hand-made touch… It’s a little expensive($ 6 — $ 12 a card) compared to usual greeting cards from CVS, Target or Publix($ 3 — $ 7 a card)… I generally end up spending between $ 25 — $ 30 per visit here… But they are worth it, often 3D art popping out… etc.

Dear Papyrus, I love your store! I was looking for a very specific birthday card and everyone kept telling me to come here. I walked in and didn’t want to ever leave. This is my kind of store! From every single kind of greeting card imaginable(Hallmark eat your heart out), which were incredibly unique and different, to the gifts and random items that feed my soul, I was in heaven. There are books and items such as phone cases and purses and everything one never knew they needed but suddenly wanted. I was in a rush when I was here but still managed to buy an awesome pen, with the excuse that I needed it to sign the card I had just purchased. In my defense, we were on our way to a party(for which the card was needed) and wanted to sign it with something pretty. I probably would have spent a stupid amount of money on stuff I didn’t really need if I had more time. I guess everything happens for a reason… But don’t get me wrong, I will be here soon to spoil myself with a couple of fun, random things. Awesome place for everything paper related. Need personalized stationary? Come here. Paper Dreams, SabrinaAnna*

This is a a beautiful store that sells greeting cards and stationary. They also do custom printing and personalization for all occasions. Their greetings cards are on the pricey side but they are so beautiful, elegant, and unique that it’s worth paying their prices, specially if you need a card that makes a statement for a special occasion like a wedding or Valentines day. They are located inside The Falls mall next to the Apple store. If you ever need a card that makes a long lasting impression I really recommend you visit this place.

I like Papyrus, so I have nothing personal against the store itself. The cards and gifts are very nice… although the selection is a bit small. My complaint is with the way I was treated by one of the clerks. When I walked into the store, I was the only person there. She was on the phone, obviously not related to work, and after about 10 minutes she decided to acknowledge my presence with a curt greeting. I finally decided to buy a birthday card for my stepfather. She offered to get me a better envelope, but her whole attitude was very unpleasant. I stood at the counter while she was away, counting my money. I also picked up one of the cool-looking pens, looked at it, then put it back. She returned but had a very ugly expression on her face. She stared at me in a very accusatory way. I wanted to ask her if there was some kind of problem, because I couldn’t understand her behavior. She did not smile. She simply stared me down. When the transaction had been completed, she threw the item at me and snapped: «have a nice day». Now I don’t like to play the race card but there are times when I wonder why I am being treated with disrespect. She was an older white woman. I’m a biracial woman who looks very young for my age. I’ve been to that store before and she is sweet to white customers. Maybe she was having a bad day and it really was nothing personal, but that is still no excuse for rudeness. I don’t know if she thought I would shoplift or what. I receive better treatment from the staff at Hallmark. Sorry, Papyrus… you’re a lovely little store but I was disappointed with the clerk’s attitude, hence two stars.
