I just had the eel sizzle special and the Thai spicy salad with seafood. The fish is fine but 8 dollars for one little piece of eel is ridiculous. Definitely a bit overpriced.

Great Asian food and love their sushi. They have sushi with sweet plantain that is a must have. Interesting but great taste.

Just average sushi place. Prices are fair for some dishes and really expensive for another. It’s good but for this price there are definitely better options.

Very good Thai food!!! Loved the Tom Ka Kai and the Chicken Cashew… A very good option if you are close to Calle 8.

Excellent food and ambiance. That Pad Thai was delicious. I asked for tofu instead of chicken and they were able to make it. The service is excellent.

I ordered for delivery and was really impressed. Their pad Thai was very good and so was the Sushi. The Calle ocho tuna was basically a tuna tower with rice and avocado and really yummy. But OMG, the Bightme was yummy and super cute! It’s salmon or tuna inside tiny waffle cones with caviar and truffle oil. I was skeptical upon reading the description but super happy with it! Will definitely order from here again.

This is my friend’s friend restaurant. Bertica brings me here every time I go to Miami. We ordered a bunch of plates That you can see in the pics. The waiter was kind of amenable, sometimes he felt uncomfortable with my friend calling him for something else every time. The pad thai was great because it was not too sweet or saucy. My salad is one of the salads I feel like eating every time. The vinaigrette was excellent! It was ginger based. Fresh veggies. I will come back because I can find there good food, good attention, the owner comes to the table to say hi, the variety is long and the place is very cozy.

I’ve been to the restaurant probably over 30 times since opening and there hasn’t been a time where I have not been satisfied. It is a place where there is perfection in everything you order and you leave with an incredible culinary experience. Their rolls are fantastic and unique and all the pic plates are to die for. Definitely a local gem!

A little more expensive than Asian Thai Kitchen in the grove, but worth the price. The pad thai is phenomenal, as are the spring rolls. I have not tried their Japanese selection, but everything Thai is great. Very nice service, and located in an undervalued part of Miami. Every year more restaurants open in this area, I am excited to see it evolve.

Mr. Yum is such a cool mom & pop sushi spot with romantic theme from the décor to the food. I tried the tuna tataki, it was a party in my mouth. The flavor was fresh, sweet, citrus and crunchy. Then I had the calle Ocho roll, it had plantains which is something so Cuban, but it was so incredibly delicious and fun! The food is a blend of Asian and Latin favors, and its such a great combination! It is very small & low key but its a gem. I highly recommend this place bc in so many ways it is unique, original, special & is a high quality place that no other can compare.

Me gustó.

I’ve come here a few times before and it’s just okay. There’s metered parking in the street or a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant. The lighting inside is a weird reddish darkish color. The tables are a bit small. There were table available but no one told us where to sit. We were just standing around until we asked someone if we could sit ourselves. I’m not sure why but when I asked for the drink menu I was told she would try to find one. I was afraid they might try to over charge since I couldn’t see the drink prices so I ordered green tea instead. It was two of us and so we decided to split a roll as an appetizer and curry as a main dish. The Ño roll was very tasty but it’s not worth the $ 18! I took about 20MINUTES for them to make it. There seemed to be some mix up with a take out order. Then there was some guy and his daughter that kept putting in orders for some friends at a table whose sushi order and champagne was obviously more important than ours(the guy may have been the owner or someone important; he and his kid kept walking in and out of the kitchen). That was pretty annoying. The Massaman beef curry we shared was very delicious. It was also overpriced though for the portion. The 2 stars is because the food was very flavorful but between the prices and service… Not sure if it’s worth coming back.

Mr. Yum was the first place that showed up when I searched for thai food around the airport. As a thai food fanatic, it’s hard for me to really find a variety that I dislike. In the case of Mr. Yum, this food is delicious, if not a bit over portioned with a somewhat steep fare. Presentation of the food alone is a spectacle, and paired with the fact that the food is actually quite good definitely makes this a high starred review. I can’t really attest to the gripes about the service. Could it have been better? I guess so, if you’re looking for a comprehensive dining experience perhaps this isn’t the place. But the combination of the great food and the minimal but still relaxed vibe of the restaurant was more than enough for me to rate this place highly. All in all, there’s not enough here to warrant a 5 star rating, but this is definitely somewhere I’d recommend if nothing other than the food was quite honestly delicious.

Nothing special. Walked in with 8 other people at the end of a weekday when place was empty. Waitresses were about as personable as highway toll-takers at the end of a double shift. Neither of them introduced themselves or informed us of any specials or even what beverages they had. They both looked and acted like they had dead dogs at home waiting to be buried. The food was unremarkable and unmemorable. The lighting was oddly dark and if you go in with anyone, you can enjoy partial attention in the event they are seated facing the wall with the big video projection(TV’s in restaurants — I don’t get it.) They play cool music and the décor is cool, but who cares? Blah.

This place is quaint and has a nice ambience. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I felt it was overpriced for the location, portion and taste. We thought it was good but nothing out of this world! Service was sub par. We were a but disappointed since we read all the reviews and had read great things about.

Came here to eat here today and the food was not that great. Just saw the best sushi place I have got into Miami has been Akashi and your Yahoo san sushi in the intercostal mall in North Miami Beach. Ordered shrimp tempura roll, it came with a glazed topping on it that consisted of a parade of lobster crab and other shellfish. It was not that great and pricey. I personally wouldn’t come back here I wasn’t satisfied

Little gem place in little havana, whenever there’s a groupon deal, I buy it and use it here. But without groupon, not so good a deal since it’s little overpriced considering the portion of the food you get. There’re only two waiter/waitress no matter how busy the place is. So when they’re really tired you can get some attitude, I understand why and it’s mainly their boss’s fault, but still, we don’t appreciate some attitude at the end of a happy birthday dinner, so I pretty much enjoyed my food I had here, but will not plan to come back.

Great place for sushi! Located in the middle of Miami’s famous 8thST. it’s an unlikely place to come across especially when the majority of the restaurants have a Cuban cuisine influence. The place is small and very nice for a dinner date. The menu has many options to chose from and I’m still waiting to be disappointed in one. The Ño Roll has become one of my favorite. Topped with sweet plantains and accompanied by a mango sauce it is a sweet roll worth trying and enjoying. The service is good and the kitchen is in the open making the chef exposed in order for you to see the art in sushi. All the desserts are great! Especially the chocolate bomb. Creamy, hot and moist! Accompanied by a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. The fried ice cream is also very good and a pretty large scoop! Be sure to leave room for these delicacies, we’ve been just for dessert because it’s that good!

I’m not much of an Asian food lover but this restaurant is quite delicious! But if there is ONE thing that you MUST go to try it’s the chocolate bomb dessert! Oh my goodness, how can I even begin to describe it? It’s the perfect amount of chocolate! It’s a hot chocolate lava cake with vanilla Icecream on the side! It keeps you dreaming about when you’ll be able to come back and have it Again!

I really liked their drinks and rolls. I tried Ño the original and Ingrid and the first one was much better than the second one. I am not sure if the price is justified with the presentation and the fact the space is tight where we sat(the waitress was asking me to move so she could pass by to the table next to us). I wish I could give 3.5 stars because 4 stars are too much for this restaurant but I’m rounding up. Tip: You can park in the parking lot before or after this location
