Not bad food just not good food. I was surprised to see that they play french music in a italian restaurant for one and it kind of explains why the food wasnt very«italian» tasting. Nothing was so bad we couldnt eat it but then again it didnt taste the way we expected it to taste either. Main complaint is it is just not traditional Italian food they way most would expect it to be. I dont want to bash them, it was clean, people were nice, it just isnt what most would consider traditional Italian. Wouldnt go back, sorry

This my favorite Italian style food. The Antipasto and Mezzlauna with pear is my favorite dish. The ambiance is relaxing and cozy. Food tastes fresh and very tasty. Desserts are homemade and also very delicious. They have a pianist on Wednesday and Friday evenings. We visited on Valentine’s and still had the same great service!!! Two thumbs up;) 6−3−16 we keep visiting and still wonderful!!!

It’s ok, nothing special. I had the spaghetti alla carbonara, the egg wasn’t raw enough and the flavor was off. Then again, I never had any comparable carbonaras outside of Rome. I m forever spoiled by the real deal.

I had a great experience at this little gem. Service was fast, efficient and really nice. I ordered spinach soup and a shrimp salad for carry out. The salad was made of all darker leafy greens with romaine, spinach and arugula mixed in with the shrimp, thick parmesan cheese blocks and celery with an olive oil and lemon dressing that is fresh and delicious. The spinach soup is REALLY awesome and it came with two pieces of warm bread. Couldn’t be happier with this place. Everyone should give it a try if you’re in the area.

This place was way beyond our expectations! Staying next door at the Hampton Inn, we were looking for a restaurant that was nearby and looked«decent.» We weren’t expecting much from an Italian joint in a strip mall in Miami, especially coming from NJ where there is good Italian within a stones throw of everywhere. These guy really nailed it! They have a huge menu of interesting entrees, not just your run-of-the-mill dishes. I had the Linguine Norcina, which was amazing. The pasta was definitely fresh and homemade. The sauce was top notch! I don’t remember what everyone in the rest of our party ordered(expect for my son, who is a picky eater, and he loved his spaghetti and meatballs) but everyone really enjoyed their meals. The service was solid. Not stellar, but nothing to complain about. Really cool décor too! No one had dessert because we were all completely stuffed. I don’t understand the negative reviews knocking the food. Unless things have vastly changed or widely differs on a day-to-day basis, from our experience the food here is outstanding. I would definitely recommend Mozzarella if you are in the area!

I hope someone comes out soon and says this place is an elaborate joke. If not, then there is simply no excuse for this, and I use this term loosely, «Italian» food.

Well I’m surprise this place has so many good reviews, the portions were extremely small and the service was fairly nonexistent. I had lasagna which might as well have been a TV dinner, so I guess I shouldn’t really complain about the small portion sizes considering The way the food tasted. I guess they do you a favor in that respect. Anyways totally a waste of money would definitely avoid it not going back.

I was expecting so much from this place, I honestly had mixed feelings hence the rating, personally think Caesar salad was tasty but too much dressing, my friend and husband didn’t agree they loved it as is. The grilled chicken was okay, desert was wonderful but I was disappointed they didn’t have any of the dishes we wanted to eat, that’s the price you pay for freshness, I am okay with that. I will visit again to try traditional Italian dishes and hope to increase my ratings. Prices are just right. Strongly recommend for cheap quick Italian food.

The food here was average at best, with the side order of meatballs tasting like they were some off brand frozen variety that were simply heated up in sauce. Service was ok when we first arrived, but when we asked for the check our server disappeared, and did not return. We went to the cash register up front to pay our bill and were greeted with attitude, for no reason. If you’re hungry for Italian, you’d be better off going to an Olive Garden than to Mozzarella.

I can’t wait for Unilocal to allow NEGATIVE stars! This place was a huge disappointment. So many positive reviews clearly demonstrates how little Floridians know about Italian food! I wish I could revoke the Unilocal privilege of every person that left this place a positive review. * we weren’t greeted upon entering * plastic cups(really?) * cold boring bread * so many restrictions on the menu(you can’t have pasta unless it’s the third Wednesday of the month after 2PM on a rainy day in the winter) otherwise they force you to have sides like mash or rice that’s sitting in a food warmer. * cheap, frozen fish I couldn’t even cut with my knife * automatic gratuity for a party of two(the freakin nerve of them, automatic gratuity is included in parties of 8 or more! * zero internet connection so I couldn’t leave my negative review until I left! Overall I am positive I would have had a better lunch experience at Olive Garden. Another 5 star restaurant debunked!

Mozzarella Italian is amazing! Delicious food, old Italy atmosphere and just a great feeling when you’re in there. I love Italian food so it takes a lot to impress me but this place didn’t disappoint. I wish I lived closer to Doral so I could eat here all the time!

Love the noodle with claims here. Taste so good and delicious. A lot of people at lunch time, therefore a little long for waiting your food. I really hungry at last time, so i feel so bad. However, i have no complaint for the food. Will be back soon to enjoy the ribs here.

The food at Mozzarella was absolutely delicious. Everything from the bread to the risotto. I ordered the chicken piccata with the four cheese risotto and it was perfect. My coworker ordered the pumpkin risotto and she enjoyed her dish very much as well. The only reason the restaurant doesn’t get 5 stars from me is because of the service. We weren’t checked on not even once during our meal and we had to finish the meal without water. Everyone was friendly, but they do need to be a better job of being more attentive to their guests. Since the food was so great this will not deter me from visiting again. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

Ambiance is warm and entertaining. The service was very attentive. The best spinach ravioli I’ve ever had. Don’t miss this local flavor.

I’ve been to this place before, although at that time I felt workers here were arrogant and unfriendly I have realized by now thats the typical bad service/atitude in Miami. This time I walked in and just waited to be noticed. This lady, Host/cashier I believe, was right beside me talking to a customer, two waiters passed by and I said«Excuse me gentleman» hoping to get someones attention, but nothing. Cashier/Hostess came to the cashier right in front of me and again… nothing, I felt like a ghost, worst feeling a human can have. The Restaurant wasn’t even that busy. I will never step into this place again!!!

I am puzzled — while food was awesome, the décor is nice, we were served water in plastic cups and food was served on plastic plates with cheap forks and knives. This is an Italian restaurant, so I was shocked… Not classy at all… Food was good! Linguini with white sauce and clams was so-so(watery), and no spoon was provided… Mushroom risotto and meatballs were really good!!! Would come again if they respect the customers and match the prices with service.

Recently ordered from this place to assist with some catering needs at work. My boss suggested supporting a local family owned restaurant as opposed to the nearby Italian chain and boy am I glad we did! The price difference between both was minimal but in the end service and food quality trumps all. Food was fresh and homemade, delivered promptly by the boss man himself. Lasagna was definitely a favorite with raviolis as a close second. People were raving about the food and those uninvited were wishing they were as they walked by the aroma filled halls of Italian goodness. Couldn’t have been more pleased with this family owned restaurant and was surprised to have had a call later that day from the owner to find out how it all fared… definitely a nice touch and a definite return for me.

We found this awesome hole-in-the-wall Italian place through the owners themselves! Family owned, a customer definitely feels like home in this place. There’s a beautiful corner with a grand piano and a huge bookshelf filled with real cook books anyone can read. The pasta is HOMEMADE, people. If you’ve never tried home made pasta, you gotta try it ASAP because home made pasta’s where it’s at! There are a huge assortment of special sauces you can try. My mom loves the Cuatro Fumagi(if that’s how you spell it) and my dad loves the Funghi Pancetta(I mean really, any kind of bacon could make a dish). I had the beef ravioli with a traditional tomato sauce, Napoli. Everything here has been up to par, we’ve been three times in the last month & haven’t been disappointed yet. Desserts change daily(so you know they’re fresh). *CHOCOLATEMOUSSEPLEASE!* Definitely coming back. Definitely recommend it.

Authentic Italian taste although availability of menu items hit our miss. Had mezzeluna stuffed with caramelized onion pepper pear and gorgonzola paired with a nice Chianti.
